Years Using HubSpot and Still Very Pleased

Our inbound marketing agency uses HubSpot for both our business and for our clients. I manage about 5 client accounts in HubSpot, and absolutely rely on HubSpot as a key tool to carry out their inbound strategy. We have been using HubSpot for over 3 years, and have been extremely pleased with the ...

 Easy and powerful

Price can be tough for smaller businesses and start-ups, support response time can be long. I've used HubSpot at two different jobs now, and in both cases have found it very simple to use considering the powerful features. Compared to other similar solutions like Marketo, I find HubSpot much more ...

Benefits

What Will All-in-One Mean to You?

LESS HASSLE

Why have seven different accounts to manage your marketing — and for that matter, seven different passwords to remember? With HubSpot, your entire marketing arsenal is in one place.

MORE POWER

Because everything is integrated, each component goes further. Marketing automation goes beyond email. SEO tools give you more than keywords. Integration means everything is more powerful.

BETTER SUPPORT

With HubSpot every customer gets fully supported. You won’t get boxed out of support if you’re not an enterprise customer. And you won’t have to wait endlessly on hold. In fact, we’ll call you — in about 5 min.

Spot On with Helpful Hints

25/05/2017

Using HubSpot executives the implementation point so we can focus on strategy.

Pros

It may take some effort, checking out helpful hints and tips or contacting support, but I have been able to get my site to do what I want with HubSpot's assistance. I can read some code, but I am by far a developer. The HubSpot tools really help.

Cons

The price and onboarding cost is higher than I would like for a small company. I would like more flexibility there. Live chat would be helpful.

Beware of the hard sell. They use lock in contracts to keep you paying even when the system is clearly not working for you.

23/05/2017

Hubspot is way over priced and the complexity of the system makes it hard to fully understand what you are buying into until you are bound by a lock-in contract. My advice is to thoroughly do your research as there are much much better and more economical solutions out there. Do not believe the hype from the sales team.

Pros

The CRM is free, but the rest of the system is overpriced and a waste of money. The tool is much more of a marketing course than it is a useful tool and you can get this information easily online without paying every year. Do not believe the hype! The marketing course info is also very shallow and way to sales-y for most businesses.

Cons

The system has lock in contracts that are there to force you into paying and selling to the system to your customers and for me, I liked my customers' way too much to force them into lock in contracts. Lock in contracts are only used when companies struggle to demonstrate value over the long term. The system did not work for us as it was way to salse-y for our clients base and despite numerous attempts to communicate with Hubspot about this they just shut it down.

Effective Inbound Marketing Tools for Digital Marketing

22/05/2017

Pros

The LeadIn pop up form is very useful, and helped us grow our newsletter very effectively. The Sidekick tool also gave us a good idea of activity within our emails and website. Getting started can be a little tricky, but HubSpot has a comprehensive library of Academy materials and a helpful Support team to help you along.

Cons

HubSpot often makes changes (often for the better), so at times features were tweaked or removed without prior notice. The software also takes some time to understand and get used to, but Academy materials and the support team help a lot.

Hard to navigate

18/05/2017

Pros

Easy to find info once in. But learning the technique of machination is quite confusing at first. Once you play in it for a while it tends to be easier.

Cons

Hard to learn how to navigate at first. I had a hard time remembering what to go to get all my info. There are alot of tabs so learning and practicing helps a lot.

Pros

This software is a great solution for focusing on the life cycle of the customer. From a lead to a customer, and everything in between, this software allows marketers to make smart decisions on how to reach their different segmented audiences. The best part - the interface is simple to navigate and well organized for the average web user.

Helps Streamline Marketing Department!

18/05/2017

Streamlined our landing page creation and tracking.

Pros

The best part of this product is that it brings all of your digital marketing efforts together in one place. You can blog, create landing pages, send emails, post to social and track your efforts from the same platform.

Cons

There are a few glitches when designing landing pages/blogs/emails on the front end. The front end design editor doesn't always work as easily as you'd think. I'm sure it's an easy fix for somebody who writes code on the back end. There are also A LOT of features in this product, and it can be hard to use it to it's fullest capabilities. We have been implemented for about 7 months now and we are still learning how!
