HubSpot is extremely user friendly, and for the parts that are a bit more complete - there is great learning resources + customer support. I love that we can execute marketing AND analyze + measure the performance of our actions.

Cons

I wish some of the reporting capabilities were as robust as, say, Google Analytics, but overall they're insightful.

It offers additional functionality over classic Google Analytics, and is also easier to use.

Pros

I used the free version of the analytics software, which provided pretty useful insight into the website traffic trends that I wanted

Cons

The UI can be somewhat difficult to navigate at times. Additionally, it is non-trivial to integrate the product into an existing project.

It has helped our organization get a better handle on SEO and google analytics and streamline our contacts.

Cons

When adding a chat feature to our site the chat functions are limited i.e. no ability to add images or files during chat. I wish it was a little more user friendly.

As a new hire I was looking for a strategic investment that would drag our marketing out of the dark ages and set us on the path to achieve transparency and visibility in our marketing effort thereby enabling us to implement a comprehensive inbound / content marketing strategy. We compared all the competitors for a marketing automation platform despite personally being a user and advocate of 2 direct competitors we chose Hubspot. The marketing team's workflow is easy to follow and personalize using the tool. I can see everything visually which makes things easier for me as I'm a visual learner, and automating emails makes sending out information a breeze.

Hubspot lets me see lead generation, email tracking, all the analytics i need, etc. Im new to a lot of this SEO stuff but Its made much easier by the break down of analytics and lead gen that hubspot gives me

I mean it doesn't give everything, i still need to use google analytics, or co-scheduler, hootsuite, etc. to get other things to complete the picture, but this does make some things easier.

With HubSpot, you get more than just the well-designed, useful software. You get the best customer service, access to additional certifications, endless marketing resources like e-books, webinars, blog posts, and a dedicated account manager. HubSpot quickly becomes an all-encompassing experience.

Pros

- Customer Support is super quick to respond and goes out of their way to help - Excellent user-interface. I was able to pick up the software very quickly after starting my job in January 2015. - Always working to improve their software. Users vote on what the HubSpot dev team should work on next—and they follow through with your requests.

Cons

- Reporting feature lacks small pieces of data that I have to get from Google Analytics like bounce rate, time on page, etc

I really like the deeper level of information you can get on visitors to your site, even more so than Google Analytics. We see things such as the city/state, company, and IP address for all of our website's visitors.

Cons

I wish the site would update more frequently when it comes to displaying data like site visits, page views, etc. Currently it updates just once every few hours or so.

I am using it to track social as part of a campaign and to track social more carefully and to automate social. I also use this to create super detailed and segmented workflows. I also keep information saved here and uses it as one point lookup

Pros

For me its the ability to set up automated workflows so that you don't have to worry about setting up multiple follow-up tasks and I must mention about the support team, They respond pretty fast to your concerns/questions and they are super eager to help you. That is a huge plus for me.

Cons

There are a few gaps between this and Google Analytics and my CRM.

HubSpot's marketing automation platform is incredible for setting up and managing campaigns. It's easy to build emails and analyze the results, as well as segment lists down to very targeted sectors. The workflow tool is very easy to use and the visual representation is very helpful for someone who had no experience in this prior to using HubSpot.

Cons

I would love to see a tie-in for Google Analytics, since we use that platform quite heavily.

Pros

The interface and design are much nicer than something like Google Analytics. Also, it's really nice to have one central service for analytics but also for landing pages, email funnels, ads, etc.

Cons

I've found that while Google Analytics has a much more boring/plain interface, I can quickly and intuitively get the data I want for specific date ranges and metrics.

Pros

HubSpot is my everyday marketing platform. I recently described it to a colleague as the best platform for tactical marketing execution. The ability to create, schedule, measure and optimize marketing content & assets in one place is critical to my ability to be productive as a marketing department of one!

Cons

HubSpot's content-based metrics is very helpful for A/B testing and to see what is working better than others, etc. but I still use Google Analytics and Salesforce.com for the majority of my reporting & updates to the leadership team.
