Hubspot is the 800lbs gorilla for Startup Marketing. Thing is it's expensive and cheap at the same time. If you are a fortune 500 the perceived value is too low because the cost is so cheap in relation to your budget. And if you are a pre-rev or early stage startup the value proposition doesn't make sense because of how expensive it is. They do have a startup program which gets the software 90% off for the first year but be careful as when the discount goes away you can easily be entrenched in Hubspot.

I love how this app helps me schedule my social media. I know what and when will be posted. And the plug for Gmail is just stunning!

Cons
It could be cheaper. HubSpot offers great services but it gets expensive really quickly and some people just cannot afford it

Overall, Hubspot is a great product with lots of functionalities. However, its price range may be a bit expensive compared to its real segment.

Pros
As a marketing automation expert, I know Hubspot is one of the first MA softwares that were developed. Hubspot is a robust software, offering you lots of great options such as: email marketing, personalization, dynamic content, advance segmentation, CRM integration and so on. It also allows to implement new channels of communication such as SMS or Social Media.

Cons
The main con is that it's a bit expensive for the quality of its services. It could be compared with softwares such as Active Campaign, which is way cheaper than Hubspot. Also, sometimes it has some deliverability issues when not purchased along with a dedicated sending IP.

Overall experience has exceeded my expectations. Good value for the cost, and easy to use.

Pros
This is the most robust MA platform I have used to date. Their workflows are easy to setup and the process does not have many "glitches" that I have seen with less expensive MA. Cannot compare it to the Pardot/Marketo class of software but for the price I think the value is there.

Cons
I do not have any immediate complaints on the MA side. On the sales CRM side there are some areas that could be improved like built in calling (as opposed to integrations) but MA has been great.

I use Hubspot with every one of my clients. I get reliable CRM, marketing automation, and sales process software. The pricing a free to very affordable.

Pros
Affordability and ease of use. The product is rock-solid, reliable, well-supported and it is a core tool for inbound marketing.

Cons
I wish there was an affordable way to do bulk email. If you grow past the core products - Hubspot can get expensive fast.

If you have the budget to afford this product, use it without a doubt

Pros
It is the holy grail of marketing automation and sales enablement. This software package is more than just software, it's an invaluable resource for anybody that is using it.

Cons
The cost. I don't know what can really be done about that though. For the price, you are getting the best marketing/sales software possible, but its price point does prevent a lot of small businesses from investing.

I worked with a certified hubspot agency for the setup (also quite expensive), but after that the daily usage is quite intuitive.

Pros
Lots of cool features that are quite easy to use. Great academy to learn how to take good advantage of all the features. Good integration with third party apps.

Cons
Very, very expensive for small businesses making it impossible to buy. It should have cheaper versions, even with limits on quantities.

I'm more of a developer on this system, and it's got a lot of great functionality and continues to grow. If you've got the budget for it, it's a great solution.

Pros
Tremendous amount of functionality contained in a single integrated system. User interface has greatly improved in recent years. Fantastic support (at least for those of us at the Partner level).

Cons
Tremendously expensive as a solution if you use all functions. It's probably a good value overall, but it prices out small businesses pretty quickly.

Small business owner here. I love this product. It has really helped me to get clear on my marketing initiatives, be more effective and organized. I implement the conversation bots as I can't always be there to answer questions but I want my customers to have a great first experience. It is optimized for mobile, which other platforms don't always have. Overall, this is a great product.

Cons
It's a little pricey for a small business trying to take off, but I do think the value is there. I wish they had a cheaper entry point.

Its easy to organize your sales project-plan, you are able very easily to follow all prospects, deals, opportunites. We are using basic CRM where all our Leads are stored and on a daily basis we create different reports, tasks. Import fucntion of xls/csv of your new contacts is working very smothly.

It's very cost efficient given the features it has & has amazing UX given how complicated and robust the features are. Big or small, THIS is the "super CRM" you need.

Pros
It's helps you do all the things you'd want to do to better marketing (ie. top-of-funnel awareness building & demand generation). it's a robust tool and definitely enterprise grade in its capacity. Automation, at it's best, is an efficient way to handle task productivity and also thorough front-end planning of how you'll approach even tiny marketing decisions. If you check the reviews online, it's Hubpsot and a few others are both killing it for features and easy but also values, while known giants (ie. Salesforce) are NOT so great and many known enterprise grade tools are simply too expensive given the actual value they deliver.

Cons
It's a full robust tool and, even with it's great online training "academy", it takes a ton of effort. The question is not "Does person X have the background in marketing"; more like "are you willing to invest the time to train in and properly use this enterprise marketing tool". If you're just, say, managing a mailing list, use MailChimp; if you just need opt-in pages, use ClickFunnels, etc. But this is suite of tools, so commit your marketing team to step up to the plate here. Value is good but still fluxes depending on if you got a discount from a startup accelerator (1st and 2nd years are both cheaper). Customer Support CANNOT do the hard work of learning this tool and designing marketing processes for you.

Recently, we needed Hubspot to take into account the Brazilian currency to calculate between two properties. And the tool did not recognize this, we opened a call to resolve this situation. The case was referred to the development team after 15 days the issue was resolved.

Pros
It's hard to choose just one thing I like best about this tool. Here at My Hit, we use a lot of email marketing tools and none deliver the result we get with Hubspot. Technically speaking, we had issues with deliverability in all others, even with our own IP strategy, which was different with Hubspot. I needn't say about ease of use when creating emails or automation flows. And also the full part of marketing events. We are a complex company, and Hubspot has delivered incredible results.

Cons
Overall it is not a cheap tool, this is undoubtedly a downside to the market price. In addition, we constantly identify problems with our marketing events within the tool. This may lead to improper billing in our type of business.
