I have used MailChimp to promote my services as a web programmer/designer, graphics designer, online marketer, etc....
The best thing about I love about MailChimp is the simplicity of making a customized email promoting framework that is additionally conceivable to work naturally, incorporated into the reactions of messages, these reactions are formats recently made by us and that may contain the data. what do we believe is advantageous
At first, as a new user, I find it complicated to configure the application in a way that suits your needs due to a large number of the extensive number of accessible options, yet then you will appreciate that you can configure everything.

Able to reach our email audience with customized and colorful emails
Helpful customer service, nice selection of customizable templates to choose from, data is easy to interpret
Many aspects will be easier for an experienced designer vs a non-designer. Difficult to get some aspects to be symmetrical when adding images and text on columns.

Very easy to generate emails through the templates as well as setting up segmented email lists.
I often find myself wanting more customization within the email designer.

Easy to trigger campaigns. Create layouts using available templates. Template wise bit restricted can be more flexible in terms of templates. User-friendly, scheduling and ready templates, it saves time and money. great app
It's good for marketing and sales persons for mass emailing and scheduling email campaigns.
As a designer, I feel the templates restricts and becomes very monotonous.

Online designer gives me the option to edit and create what I wanted. Also testing emails can be sent with ease.
There are actually no cons I have noticed but online designer needs improvement.

This is very affordable with a lot of relevant plugins and capabilities.
If you are not a designer or coder you will find laying out your newsletters very difficult. In order to optimize our layouts, it required the help of an individual that was a skilled coder and designer.

I am a developer and when i am working with a online related application i needed to handle email templates in an easy way, So i choose MailChimp and i am so happy i that i made that decision. Most importantly my product owner is changing the Static area of the template as she wants, while the dynamic data push through their API. So we do not need a template designer for the template designs, and all the email related things are happening for this product smoothly. I do not think there is a better product than this for email handling in your application.
Very easy to use You do not need to bug your designer for email template changes Dynamic content can be handled easily together with Mandrill You do not need to be a designer to create awesome templates using user-friendly template designer Can handle large email campaigns with few clicks Custmize campaign
API Documentation should be more easy to understand. Syncing templates with MailChimp and Mandrill should have been automatically without manual interference.

The ease of use and ability to reach so many clients at the click of a few buttons.
Not enough good templates that can be used. Please have a designer create more templates!

I just love how the interface is so easy to use. I also love the inbult email designer which enables our non-designer campaign managers to send out great looking emails relatively quick.
I think they can improve on the pricing model - I would love to see a mode based on sends (and not on user count).

You can create professional looking emails using Mailchimp without hiring a professional designer.
I like the block setup in the design feature. Dividing emails into blocks makes it easy to format emails. There are also several layout options you can use, which is helpful.
The software isn't quite as intuitive as I'd expect it to be. I'd like it to be more user friendly. When I try something new, I often have to play around in Mailchimp for awhile before I'm able to get it to work.

Probably the best free plan out of any email software out there. Lots of good analytics and features. Some settings menus could use some serious UX work.
It's really easy to integrate into nearly any other tool we're using due to its popularity, and it's easy to use for our clients.
The email designer could use some work. Some settings are hard to find without some serious Googling around.

We send 10 newsletters per week. There’s nothing that handles more aspects of this process than mailchimp. From content, design to analytics it’s far and away the best I’ve used.
I wish the email designer template was more intuitive, it feels very chunky at times. Especially on touch devices.

The software is extremely affordable in terms of marketing automation, or email automation. However, if you have the money, there are much better alternatives. Once you figure out the template, emails go out quickly, are easy to schedule and provide some reporting metrics.
The template design process is clunky and difficult to use. If you aren't a designer, you will struggle. If you are a designer, you will be frustrated that you are forced to stay within a template box. Metrics provided are limited, however for the cost, you can't expect more.

Mailchimp helped me to save a ton of time and energy by making the process of sending mass emails easier, and making them look much better.
At first when I started with Mailchimp, the functionality was not as easy. However, once I watched some videos and understood it more, Mailchimp simplified my monthly newsletters greatly. I used to spend a long time each month sending one email at a time so that they would not go into people's spam folder. Now, however, with the click of a button, I've got 500-1000 emails being sent a month. I also like the templates and the ease of drag and drop design.
Because I myself and not a designer, I do wish there was something to help folks like me more.

Fairly easy to use, especially out of the box for people that have limited to no experience. Easy to import contacts, create groups, etc.
Not as robust as templates as I'd like to see since we don't have a marketing/designer guru in house.

Overall, using Mailchimp has been great! I highly recommend Mailchimp to any small business who wants to create email campaigns.
The best feature in Mailchimp, I believe is the drag and drop email campaign designer tool.
The support Mailchimp provides is what I like the least. I feel they could do better for customer support.

love the ease of use and the layout. it's very user friendly. it's helps collect data and lets you know how well everything went.
i wish it was a bit more customizable. it's overall great but i'd like being a designer a bit more features.

Ability for users to subscribe to multiple categories or interests. Sometimes, not all users want to get all kinds of newsletters/updates from your company.
List of themes and templates in Template designer is very limited & dull. It can be enhanced to include more dynamic themes.

Overall, for small companies like us mailchimp is good option and it makes you feel like real designer.
Mailchimp offers integrated solutions (e-mail, landing page, postcard, membership form, google remarketing ads, facebook and instagram ads entegre) that enable them to conduct highly comprehensive digital marketing activities via e-mail. In this process, while creating successful campaigns with A / B tests, new solutions can be produced according to different needs with API support.
It is bad that you can get phone call for support and Social Pro features does not include in free trial

Mailchimp has worked great for my small business as a way to market my services to a segmented email list.
This software is easy to set up and use, the predesigned templates make creating a email campaign easy. Customizable
I would have liked to have a few more modern design options, this could be a user thing as I am not a marketing designer.

List management and email analytics are easy to setup and utilize. The templates and email designer are also very easy to use.
The limits on the free account as far as list size and emails sent. Also, the MailChimp badge on the bottom of every email. Overall, if that's the worst I can think of, must not be a bad piece of software.

I have been able to use this service for years without any issues. Being a Graphic Designer I often use them for WordPress subscriptions. Everything they are doing is great.
I have been using Mailchimp for years and it has been great to send out messages to my clients, incorporate on WordPress website and more.
I would like more template options but it isn't that big of a deal if you are a Graphic Designer or have some art skills.
