Pros

They do a great job of educating marketers about how to ensure your campaigns are successful not just in the short run, but also overall, over many, many mailings and contacts.
I love the interface - once I got to know what was possible it became very easy to create what I wanted. I feel like it makes a big difference in how we're perceived by our community.
I used to think it was way too cumbersome to use and not as fluid in its layout. I think, to stay competitive, Mailchimp has really focused on improving the UI to make it more user friendly.

Pros

I especially like the ease at which it publishes great pages. My team has picked up on the friendly UI pretty quickly which lowers the bar to participate.
Overall, Confluence is best when used in conjunction with Jira and other software. I don't think Confluence is the best tool for writers and editors, but it works great for tech teams.
Confluence is a good tool to share documents; it offers a good search function and the solid level of templates available make the software easy to use.

Cons

It lack direct and urgent support in times of desperate need of it, and the some features aren't so flexible, I can say its not so much up to par with industry standard.
The problem I ran into with mailchimp is that it struggled to sync with a wix site created for a client. Upfront, it worked well but then seemed to stop working.
Their modular template builder is the worst builder I've used ever. It's so bad that I rather just code the whole template.

Cons

It has interruptions problem will make it useless. Design by Groupthink so its lack of design commit features.
It can be a bit difficult to navigate if you’re not working in Confluence frequently and you’re not familiar with how your organization has configured the project trees.
For example, I could not figure out a way to prevent a Unix filename string from being broken on a slash due to wraparound. There should be a way to mark a string as "non-breaking", but there is not.
