We are a commercial real estate international organization and use MailChimp to poll our members at least 4 times per year. It's simple to set up and use.
Reasonable cost, easy learning curve, lots of support.
Cannot think of anything I would change for way we use the app.

I had used ConstantContact in the past, but my employer had a subscription to MailChimp. Switching over was very simple.
Easy to use for beginners. Learning curve was a breeze!

once past the learning curve - good success. Used in multiple campaigns.
It's versatile. It's generally easy to use - at the lower levels
Segregating lists qualities for different types of readers without incurring costs (via having the same email in multiple times) can be taxing and difficult. It is doable.

Great tool, just has a bit of a learning curve in spots.
The automated newsletters are robust and can create pretty much whatever we need.
The process of creating custom newsletters can be confusing when not used to the software.

Great for small businesses. Easy to use and not a big learning curve.

It has a very low learning curve because it's very easy to navigate and use
It reserves the right to cancel or suspend your account. If this is done when you are not prepared you may loose very important email lists

Mailchimp is a good software but it has a huge learning curve to it
Mailchimp is a good software and was easily accessible.
I think mailchimp is difficult to learn and hard to maintain.

It's definitely been a positive experience, but there was absolutely a learning curve to overcome.
Mailchimp makes sending out newsletters very formulaic and simple. You can add and take away different features with the click of a button, and it's easy to add text and photos.
Customizing your newsletter can be a little difficult, and it can also be a little tough to set up a clean-looking newsletter in the first place. In addition, Mailchimp just takes a bit of time to master.

It allows me to market my business and hobby very easy - learning curve is short
Mail Chimp makes it very easy for any one to run email campaigns. The templates are very nice and the free version gives your plenty of contacts and sends every month.
I used to hate having the mail chimp logo on my messages but so many companies are using this service it is no longer an issue

There was quite a large learning curve. It took some time to figure somethings out.
Using Mailchimp for the first time was easy to navigate. Templates were easy to create and use.
Importing our contact list and email addresses was not as easy. The import was not as smooth as I'd hoped and there problems getting our campaigns out to a few imports. Then editing those contacts was somewhat easy but resending a campaign to those users was time consuming. However, I think I was able to get the hang of it once I played around for a while.

Simple, easy to use, and can quickly send emails. Very low learning curve, and good built in templates.
Lacks integrations, and some of the more advanced features that would be nice to have in order to promote business a bit more

I love stuff that gets my work done without a steep learning curve. Mailchimp fits the bill.
I loved the intuitive way the program helped me set up newsletters. For newbies, this can be an intimidating process. Mailchimp strips away all the nerdy stuff, and just let me get 'er done. This stripped back approach encourages new users to try out more features as they get comfortable. It's very inviting. Added note - loved the cheeky monkey attitude in the writing. Made it fun!
Mailchimp suits my needs beautifully. If there are unattractive features, I haven't found them.

Mailchimp offers a speedy, basic mass email marketing platform. It's very easy-to-use and has no learning curve.
Lack of A/B testing is a definite con. I would like it if Mailchimp provided some functionality for basic A/B testing, such as ability to A/B the subject line.

I like the possibilities of this software, but there's a steeper learning curve than I originally thought.
I like the variety of features available. They make my website easier to navigate and they stand out for looking professional.
There are features that I just don't know how to use. It's been over a year and I still can't figure them out.

Really love it! A bit of a learning curve, but once figured out, it's easier to understand.
Lots of functions, nice design layouts, and a variety of options/areas to explore and make your newsletter branded specifically to your content.
So much that it can do, and very good options for being free, but will take time to figure out.

Only used for email campaigns with a shorter, more concise and reliable email list.
It has easy built in templates for first time users. The learning curve to design and execute emails is minimal.
The biggest issue with Mailchimp is there hard rules on email bounces, undeliverable that then will suspend your account from using.

Great way to get working on email marketing without a huge output of money or a large learning curve.
Mailchimp offers a decent free plan which is great for budget conscious individuals. The software itself is easy to use and doesn't require a ton of work to get started.
Really need to be a paid user to get all the bells and whistles of this program. The email cap for the free plan is rather low.

I use it with many small businesses I onboard because their email lists are small and the designing and initial set up of getting their email lists ready for sends is simple.
The learning curve is almost nonexistent, super user friendly software and the free version is fine for many small businesses.
If you go over your email lost amount in the free version, you have to archive manually the extras... a bit tedious to do.
