Automation of pipeline management. Automation of email marketing.

Pros

It is extremely easy to use. The on-boarding and support process once you get in the premium segment of the user base is excellent.

Cons

The integrations with other software solutions (MAilCHimp, Zoom..) are not well documented.

Abundance of features in free version that have really helped me streamline the sales process.

Integrations with MailChimp and Gmail.

Pros

I also like the integrations with MailChimp and Gmail.

Cons

I dislike that there are a lot of inaccessible features displayed right alongside features that I do have access to since I am using the free account.

Great all-in-one marketing platform

2017-09-13

Pros

It covers almost everything modern digital marketing is about. HubSpot itself is a digital marketing pioneer, which helps them with implementing the latest technology.

Cons

The design side could be better, comparing examples like wordpress, Squarespace, mailchimp, etc.

Love Hubspot

2019-01-31

Pros

The functionality and the user tracking. With Hubspot you can automate and personalize almost everything. With the marketing automation you can cater emails to people that have visited specific pages or done specific actions on your site.

Cons

You have to learn how to use it, it's not SUPER intuitive like Mailchimp, or other marketing softwares out there.

Lots of functionality

2018-10-04

Pros

Lots of functionality and gets the job done. I like the community and support that comes with hubspot but I admittedly don’t use those resources often.

Cons

I don’t find that hubspot is very I ntuitive or user friendly, but I’m also a long time pardot and mailchimp.

Great, but not perfect, solution for Marketing and CRM

2018-07-19

Pros

-Easy to use -Allows for use of a single platform -Connects and manages other tools (HootSuite, Gmail, MailChimp, Google Analytics)

Cons

-Pretty pricey, and unnecessarily so. Hence the lower review on value for the money -Needs additional features for authorization settings

Usefull feature for b2b prospecting

2016-06-28

I've been using Hubspot since a couple of month and I find very usefull the tracking feature. In effect, when you do prospecting via email, the capability of monitor if, whetether and when aprospect has read your email helps much! Especially if you follow emails with telephone. This feature helps in warming traditional cold calls.

Pros

Easy to use, effective

Cons

You can go beyond via the free version of Mailchimp

getting better!

2019-03-26

Really great overall, can't use anyother platform now! :)

Pros

Way more than others (like Mailchimp). Lots of possibilities and analytics are the best I found

Cons

Could be even better with more design possibilities like new blocks and being able to better edit content like images. Having the possibility to enter a link for youtube and get automatically the preview of the video (instead of having to take a screenshot of it, put it as an image and add a link to it).

Always new features, but always plenty to keep up to speed on

2018-11-28

Needed to move beyond Mailchimp to a more robust, true Marketing Automation platform but without a long-term commitment and absurdly high implementation cost.

Pros

The UX is much cleaner than any Salesforce or Marketo or Constant Contact product. Always improvements and new features, great chat support and ticket system.

Cons

Downside to new features is they add them constantly vs. in timed releases like say the Salesforce platform, so you feel like you always need to learn something new even when you've used the platform for a number of years.

Excellent Product - Awesome Plan For Free Users

2018-03-11

Track website visitors/members through WP plugin - goes right into our CRM as opposed to moving stuff over from Mailchimp.

Pros

The CRM and Wordpress Integration is a really great tool. I've experimented with so many different CRM and marketing platforms over the past year, and HubSpot is definitely near the top. For what I'm looking for... (cheap/free CRM) with a few additional features, HubSpot is a bit more to my liking than Zoho or Insightly. Lots of good integrations. However, the paid version is bit expensive and more than I currently nead.

Cons

Mobile version requires paid plan. Also organizing prospects and filters for the CRM can be a little confusing and time-consuming.

HubSpot for Marketing - not for Sales

2018-10-31

Pros

I honestly found it more user friendly than MailChimp and I actually enjoyed using it more.

Cons

We also used it for the Sales features to track teams output, and this was not working so well. I think it's strength is in Marketing

Overpriced

2019-04-10

We used it for about a year and a half, but overall it just wasn't worth the pricetag.

Pros

It was nice that everything was in one place as far as email, landing pages, etc. All organized, but there are much better products out there that focus on just the one thing that they do and then you can integrate them and use them together rather than paying Hubspot for all everything in one place.

Cons

It is too expensive, and there are much better products out there that focus on just the one thing that they do such as using wordpress and mailchimp together, etc. rather than having your website and emailing all under hubspot and paying lots of money.

Hubspot gets it done

2018-12-17

We moved up from using mailchimp and there was definitely a big difference.

Pros

Hubspot's platform is very robust. If you have your own ecom site and crm it's great at linking them and allowing you to build out a wide range of custom automations to accomplish pretty much anything you can think of.

Cons

The onboarding was a little complicated but other than that it's been pretty easy and good!

Best Decision We Ever Made

2015-12-01

I found HubSpot's software through the inbound certification program. So far, it has been the single greatest investment our Marketing department has ever made. The intuitive software has helped us align our digital efforts, and has helped us generate more leads than ever before. We came to the table with zero leads, which is why we decided on this system over others. There are other, more robust Marketing Automation platforms available, but most of them do not include lead generation tools, so if you have no leads to automate, you're stuck with a platforn that will not serve you for a while. However, with HubSpot, you get a platform that will work for you now and grow to work for you later. Also, HubSpot is constantly listing to user feedback and looking for ways to improve the platform and its UX.

Pros

- Supportive customer success teams - Awesome support team with quick response times - Library of content and resources for customers - All-in-one platform - Campaigns tool brings all assets under one roof - Workflows tool helps automate Marketing tasks - Integration with almost any outside platform including Wistia, Mailchimp, Salesforce, GoToWebinar, and many more

Cons

- Add-on features (ads, reporting, website, etc.) can significantly increase your investment, but definitely worth it in the long run if you have the budget

Tons of Features, but Missing An Important One

2018-12-27

Were it to possess email capability (and that capability was comparable to the big ones out there - Aweber, Mailchimp, Agile, etc), Hubspot would be my go-to, and I would most likely subscribe to a proper plan JUST for that, as their other capabilities are amazing.

Pros

I love the fact HubSpot has every integration under the sun available, including a dedicated plugin for WordPress that basically makes it an on-site CRM. Adding capture forms, sorting leads/contacts, all super easy and intuitive.

Cons

There is no email/contact option outside of purchasing a plan. While this can be worked around using either a dedicated email platform or another CRM, it would be nice to include that feature with a monthly cap, similar to how their competitors work. Being able to test the email function on free mode, combined with all the other bells and whistles HubSpot offers, would be a knockout sales punch.

HubSpot For The Win

2016-12-08

We migrated to the HubSpot platform from a sea of scattered solutions - a Wordpress site with several extensions, keyword research with Google Analytics, Keyword Planner, etc, distribution of social media content via several tools like HootSuite, Gmail & MailChimp for email marketing, etc.

Pros

Easy to get everyone working off of one platform.

Cons

It was a bit pricey.

Very easy to use, once you have some proper training

2017-08-29

Inbound marketing results

Pros

There are lots of resources to turn to for help. They called to provide insights about what our organization could be doing better with their software.

Cons

With all the technology out there now a days to build things drag and drop ready (like Squarespace, and Mailchimp), it is still very difficult to build your own landing pages or email templates.

Integrated/simple marketing platform to streamline everything for small businesses

2018-03-15

Pros

We starting using HubSpot for our tour company and it has saved so much time so that we don't need as many "single-use" tools like MailChimp, HootSuite, Google analytics, etc.

Cons

It's a bit expensive for small business without lot of revenue, but the time you save might make up for it if you're then able to focus on other revenue-related activities for your business.

Great marketing platform for SMBs

2014-11-06

Pros

The thing I like most about HubSpot is that everything is in one easy-to-use platform. Making connections with our marketing data is a lot easier now, because we can see everything a prospect has done, whether they visited a Web page, opened an email campaign or filled out a form.

Cons

I've used many other email vendors (Emma, Constant Contact, MailChimp, ExactTarget) and a number of them let you drop in your own HTML.

Recommendations to others considering HubSpot Marketing

Really think about what it is you're trying to accomplish with your marketing program. We evaluated other marketing platforms, including Marketo and Silverpop. Many of the things they did, HubSpot could also do, and at a much better price.

Sometimes it can be overly confusing to use.

2017-11-01

Website page rank based on keywords and competition is a report we use all the time for evaluating our website. Creating a custom landing page is another great feature. The optional website pop-ups are a great attention-grabbing feature. Workflow allows for a mix of sales/team task management and nurturing drip marketing.

Pros

Hubspot has a lot of API connections, reporting abilities, and other robust features. Their landing page ability is the best feature we like, along with the workflow automation. The ability to use pop-ups on the website, along with other great add-on features helps us with nurturing our Internet marketing campaigns. Being able to tie in the sales dashboard with the marketing automation makes for a great mix of task based followup and drip marketing. The addition of the Wordpress app makes it a great connection to our web pages.

Cons

It makes keeping a Mailchimp account a strong consideration.

Hubspot's marketing tool is an easy-to-use must Have software.

2017-11-09

It allowed me to expand my marketing, social and online presence, all in one tool!

Pros

In the Marketing automation tool, you have everything in one place. The software is like a swiss army knife, where you have Email automation, website design, and contact lists all-in-one! You can also automate your social media posts.

Cons

It can be a little bit more expensive when compared to other Marketing automation tools, or "hacking" your way to the same features using mailchimp or other automation tools.
