Effective, frustrating and annoying.
Send out batch emails with reduced bounces etc.
Not simple to use and it takes practice - especially if you are not confident with this type of program. Having ‘pop up’ boxes explaining what needs to be done. Sometimes, it suggests actions e.g. ‘add background’ but does not explain how. The tool bar has limited functionality on the trial which makes it hard to justify expenditure on an almost unknown product.

We have been using Mailchimp for some time now as we see it as a very simple user-friendly tool for our marketing campaigns. The only thing missing for us is a better integration with our CRM system.

It's been pretty easy to use for our MKTG team and myself. Good option and the aesthetics of the content we send out are always solid
The data is easy to see and understand. The ability to go in and and adjust, edit campaigns is quick and easy
More on the CRM we use side of things - but the integration to our CRM is not available on the tier CRM we use. I will be looking more into MailChimp's own CRM at some point

Pretty good and good value for money. Annoying I couldn't use paypal to pay the montly subscription
Once you upgrade from free to one of the packages it was fairly simple to put together email chains which automatically sent out to new sign ups
A bit fiddly to get to grips with. The email builder is ok but limited to the same platform as wordpress - thankfully I use this so understand it. As with everything it's easy when you know how but baffling when you don't!

Great tool, expensive, but worth it. May explore some cheaper options soon.
It does everything you may want out of a campaign tool. Easy to setup, modify, templatize ccampaigns etc..
It didnt integrate the particular CRm that we had been using, but probably on our end, as its a smaller CRM.

Great for collecting survey or lead info, managing the contact list, and sending campaign marketing out
Very user friendly and intuitive. Quick to set up and use
Doesn't give me a full CRM option, so I still need to integrate to a separate CRM to do what I need

The platform is very flexible, we love how easy it is to automate email campaigns. Great analytics.
I think this is not a CRM solution, but a great email mkt tool to integrate with Salesforce and other robust CRM platforms.

Amazing software that I hope to continue to use and implement for many years to come.
They offer many different services for marketing but the best one is the email one. It is extremely annoying to code emails for multiple clients. Mailchimp makes it super easy.
There is nothing bad I can say about this software. It is the best and it has saved me loads of time in coding HTML.

I love that it is free for a certain amount of emails. It also has really great templates for my marketing emails and helps me with my subject line. The best part is that it tells me who has opened my emails and what they clicked on. This helps me be more effective in the future
Syncing with my Liondesk CRM would be useful

Reliable system. Emails go out relatively quickly.
It's relatively easy to attach items such as calendar invites, PDF attachments, links, images. Preview mode is accurate
We cannot link emails to our CRM. We would like to track readability, what was sent to each client and when. All to be linked on our CRM.

Mailchimp is a great tool for mass email campaigns. It provides great analytics and manages unsubscribers to maintain Canned Spam Act compliance. A great email tool.
I inherited a poor CRM system with a difficult email platform. We use Mailchimp to create, send and manage our email campaigns when possible. We like how it’s easy to create emails compared to our CRM’s email builder. We also like how it helps us manage unsubscribers.
Unfortunately, our current CRM does not allow us to integrate with Mailchimp. We are implementing anew CRM system, which has a robust email tool. Eventually, we will be switching from Mailchimp.

I'm always a fan of when a software product focuses on doing what they do and doing it well. Mailchimp is a clear example of that. They have remained a consistently strong player in the email marketing space, providing intuitive and easy-to-use software for helping businesses of all sizes and industries with their email marketing goals.
I have found that the strength of Mailchimps integration with CRM platforms varies from platform to platform, so I would encourage users to test-drive it with their unique CRM instance.

When someone unsubscribes it wont allow us to add them again. I think it is good because sending a mail to someone who already unsubscribed is annoying Easy UX Beauty UI Fast mail delivery Easy to setup
I think editing themes inside the app could be better.

Awesome customer service if you have any issues with your list (ie. bounce rates) or campaigns.
Ease of putting together campaigns, either using the pre-designed templates or raw HTML templates. Also keeps the formatting adhering to anti spam laws
Limited integration with CRM and Automation platforms, or a hassle to setup

Compared to full-function CRM systems such as Salesforce or Dynamics, Mail Chimp is focused on email marketing campaigns and communications. This makes the product less expensive yet useful for the many reasons we need to send mass communications to our constituents. It is easy to get up to speed in a short amount of time which makes a user productive almost immediately.
Since the feature set is focused on email communications, other applications are needed to complete and extend all of the sales and marketing functions necessary for these departments. Thus, while the product is useful, easy, and inexpensive, it is a supplement and not a replacement.

Although Mailchimp act as a all in one marketing tool/software for businesses, to me, its disadvantages overshadows its advantages. It is very easy for the software to affect deliverability, promoting spam.
This newsletter tool/software does have a pay to go pricing plan and free trial. You can establish healthy customer management and campaigns.
The software’s pricing is very expensive. It does not act as a CRM.

Customer support are young and inexperienced. They solve the immediate easy problem and move on. If you have a complex issue, they will help but taking their advice can backfire. System-wise, their automations are not keeping up with competitors. If you need to move people through lists easily, consider a different system.
It was less costly for our # of contacts
It cannot manage midlevel to complex workflows. It forces you to use their recipes which are too restrictive. Customer Support is only available via chat. If you have a serious or complex problem, you could be chatting for hours. The Customer Support team doesn't seem to understand their product well enough to

Mailchimp is a very good tool for CRM. It has all that you need to streamline your CRM processes and integrate it with the usual shops.
If your website is in PHP it integrates only through API that can be a bit difficult to implement

We have been using for almost 6 months now and it has helped us tremendously to keep track of all our European acquisition and account pipelines. More sales won and higher share of wallet at existing customers.
The LACRM-software has 3 main USP's: * Installation: simple to set-up including the links to platforms like Mail-chimp. * Value for money: Having used many other CRM-tools im my career (Salesforce, ZOHO etc) LACRM offers the best offer. Focus is on the "must have" not "nice to have" items. * No clutter: due to the focus on the "must have" items of CRM, LACRM-software offers clean and clear dashboards. No distraction by less important "nice to have" items.
* Lack of campaign management , an integration of e.g. Mailchimp campaign results in LACRM would be nice.

An excellent system and highly recommend! I needed very little support but when needed, their staff was right there for me!
Very easy to learn and use. Integrates very well with MailChimp. As a small business, this is all I need for keeping track of contacts, schedule, and sales pipeline and allows me to market my company through the CRM and MailChimp, integrating back and forth.
I wish it had a more robust tools for project management. That really is all because it has everything else you need.

Managing contacts and leads have become much easier.
It is very simple to use web-based software. No software installation is required and can be used from anywhere. It is very cheap compared to other software in the market.
I would love to see mail newsletter feature built-in CRM instead of integrating with external applications like Mailchimp
