With it’s ease of use filters, and ability to integrate with Microsoft outlook, mail chimp helps our business every day.
We use mail chimp for all of our email needs. It’s customizable and easy to use. It works well with outlook.
There isn’t much that I don’t like. Sometimes it is hard to get into the web client, but that is really all that is a problem.

The version we have is the one that came with Cpanel on our hosted platform. It's simple and doesn't have the Outlook feel but it does the job.
I wish they would make it more modern looking and have more features that competed with Microsoft Outlook.

Almost industry standard nice features. Easy to adapt when get used to the interface. Scheduling, design, a/b testing works perfect.
Reporting may improve, doesn't show mobile os distribution. Does not report performance on domain basis (Microsoft, Google, others etc) Segmentation options may be improved.

I finally decided to step into this decade and stop sending out email-merge blasts via Microsoft Publisher and switch over to a web-based email service at the beginning of this year. It's treating me well so far!
I like how clean and simple the layout and UX is. That's a double-edged sword; those Blocks take away a little bit of flexibility and freedom I had when I was composing my emails in a different way, but they also add some functions I never would have gotten to look right before. I think in general it's worth the slight loss of control to make it look so nice. I also love that it's free, up to a number of mailing list users which I'll probably never max out on.
I wish it was easier to upload a different email list every week. I manage my email list in a separate database, then export it and upload to this, and I have to trick MailChimp into making that work by deleting all emails out of my account every time and starting over. Wish it'd just let me do a different list each time, because I don't want to manage my email list (making incremental changes as people subscribe/unsubscribe/change addresses) anywhere other than my database on my own local computer.
