Good ESP for starting out, but struggles when scaling or using in a larger business

2018-03-02

Simple ESP to help you email your subscribers you get via Sumo, Thrive Leads, OptinMonster, or other opt-in tools.

Pros

MailChimp has a beautiful interface and fun copy that stands out in a boring marketing among so many similar ESPs. Overall, their paid plans have some neat features like automatic time optimization and unopened resend. The features are rich for the price.

Cons

It's difficult for larger organizations, with 100,000+ subscribers and more advanced automations to use MailChimp. For example, the trigger-based actions for an automation you'd see in an AWeber.
