It was easy to design beautiful marketing campaign to our list - quickly. It was easy enough to understand even for those employees with no background in marketing automation.
Ease of use. I've used quite a few email marketing tools, and MailChimp is one of the best. I like the fact that there are built-in templates which are fully customisable. Integrates seamlessly with Salesforce, too. The program is really easy to use, even for those who have never used marketing automation tools before
Would be great if they could add more visual reporting like Google Analytics without having to export the data to Excel.

I think it's top 5 of email platforms. It syncs seamlessly with most SAS. Good overall!
I like the ease of the dashboard but honestly all of the major players in this space offer something similar.
Its overall pricey but you are paying to reach an inbox successfully.

I used Mailchimp to send newsletters to tens of thousands of people three times a week. They always went out on time.
You can immediately see the result of what you're intending to do. A great tool for its visual feedback, general ease of use, and speed. Being able to see analytics is nice.
Dragging is not intuitive. We think we can drag just like in PowerPoint but it actually takes some figuring out of what to click to move sections within an email template. Moving sections is a super-common thing to do when making emails so this was a pain to deal with before I figured it out.

I really enjoy using mailchimp.
This is one of the best examples of a visual editor I've ever used. Everything I want to drop into my e-mail forms goes exactly where I want it. The site's analytics are easy to understand and very detailed.
Sometimes the tools to share the sign up link work a little unintuitively.

Great customer communication and analytics.
MailChimp is really easy to use and does all the things you'd want it to. It manages contact lists, has tons of great templates to create nice looking emails, and provides effortless analytics. MailChimp has allowed my organization to understand how our customers interact with email and use that data to make better customer communications that get opened more often. Whenever we've had a question, MailChimp staff have been immediately responsive. There are a lot of business email services out there, but MailChimp is the best in my opinion.
I wish the pricing was lower. As we've built our audience, we've had to pay more for the next tiers of service. The payment is reasonable, but we don't have a large budget. Obviously, it's worth the money, but if I had a magic wand...

Great tool, great price, great analytics.
We have used mailchimp for over 5 years - great features, great analytics - overall a great tool to use. Also pricing makes it a great addition to our business. Very cost effective for any company who uses email marketing.
We sometimes worry with Mailchimp expanding into other services, like advertising, we do not want them to lose focus on emails.

Mailchimp makes it easy to configure and manage the whole process of creating and managing newsletters. Lists management, landing pages to subscribe, unsubscribe and edit details are managed in a very short time.
visual formatting of the newsletter is sometimes requiring higher IT skills.
