SFDC with Marketo

2016-10-09

I constantly make SFDC campaigns which I link with Marketo. Sales people have the ability to add leads to Marketo campaigns through SFDC.

Pros

Works really well with Marketo.

Cons

doesn't have the customizability to develop like Sugar CRM does.

SFDC is a Sales tool, Marketo is a Marketing tool. The two together can work really well to help drive the business. Keep Marketing things in Marketo and Sales things in SFDC.

The standard CRM that every company should use

2018-04-13

I used this most frequently with Marketo, and for creating my campaigns that the sales team could use to see lead activity, campaign members, and also to track status updates synced with marketo

Pros

I like all of the functionalities of this system. It's what every CRM system should be with integrations to almost every popular product

Cons

It can be a bit complicated and the layout isn't as easy to pick up. The layout is a bit outdated but I know that they are soon to be releasing an updated UI.

Salesforce for the healthcare b2b industry

Salesforce has all the tools you can ask for along with strong integration capabilities with a number of products, Downside is that sometimes I find the workflow to be inefficient and illogical, requiring additional clicks and time to get to what you want. There are areas where it is unintuitive and requires additional, costly training.

Pros

It is an essential back-end CRM and lead management tool for marketers these days.

Cons

Softwares like this, marketo, etc. often require additional training and time to understand and use effectively

I would start and stay with what Salesforce has set up on your program, avoiding customizations. I had tried a few customizations of my own and screwed up our sales forecast as a result.

Greatest sales mamanagement/CMS software on the market!

2017-06-07

Great integration and workflow, especially between departments where synchronicity typically lacks. ..

Pros

Sync and APIs with EVERYTHING - your website, your Marketo/Pardot software, your email, such as Gmail or Outloook.

Cons

It's spendy and very "deep". You can miss out on a lot of value if you are only using a few features, it's made to be fully-integrated, so make sure to integrate to get the most out of it.

Excellent program

best CRM ever

2018-11-19

Pros

way better than the competition, and the way it talks to HubSpot and Marketo is great and easy to use

Cons

somewhat complicated for a new person to use without a lot of explaining - not really sure why there needs to be four different types (account, customer, opportunity, lead) - that makes it confusing when it talks to marketing automation systems

individualized monitoring of donors and creation of personalized reports for each information need.

Salesforce integrates so flawlessly.

2018-08-31

Pros

Salesforce is a great platform but the biggest benefit we saw was it's ability to easily integrate with our other SaaS tools (like Marketo).

Cons

I wish more of the customizable fields were auto populated. It takes our admin a lot of time to keep all of the leads and accounts up to date.

800 Pound Gorilla for a reason

2018-10-03

I also like the innumerable tools you can bolt-on... Marketo for example.

Pros

There's a reason Salesforce.com is the big boy in the market, because it's the best. The ease of implementation, training and usability is 2nd to none.

Cons

Can get pretty expensive but honestly like in so many other places in life, you get what you pay for.

The best CRM out there!

2018-10-05

I love everything about Saleforce.

Pros

How easy it is to manage everything you need for your company and to sync across different platforms (such as Marketo, datanyze, engagio, etc).

Cons

It is a little bit complicated to integrate with Marketing automation tools, but once it is done, it is so WORTH it.

Pros

It's the system of records for accounts, and great for integrating with so many other tools used on a daily basis like Marketo, Salesloft, LinkedIn, etc.

Love SFDC

2015-03-26

Pros

My company wouldn't be able to function on a daily basis without SFDC. We actually incorporate an entire week of training on SFDC because it's so integral to our business.

For example - using Marketo and not having the ability to auto-log emails into SF.

Expensive CRM that we have to use

2018-07-24

Pros

My company is completely deep into the Salesforce ecosystem so we have to use SFDC. It works well but I much prefer HubSpot CRM. The Lightnining mode is better than the old mode.

Cons

Salesforce - Beyond necessary

2019-03-02

Pros

At first it was a little difficult to navigate the program, but after a month or so with training, everything became so clear and the ease of use dropped significantly. Tracking all of our campaigns, analytics, and utilizing Patron Manager was such a help to the business.

Cons

The learning curve at first is tougher than most other CRM programs (Marketo & Jira).

Salesforce is robust and helps my employer at every level of the company.

2017-09-28

Robust functionalities that support Marketing and Ops.

Pros

Salesforce integrates with tons of useful applications and can be used to track important metrics company-wide, including ones tied back to Sales and Marketing initiatives.

Cons

Also, the Salesforce Marketing cloud is overly technical and takes longer to build campaigns in than ActOn and Marketo, our IT department still runs this piece because the training will be so extensive.
