Social Publishing

As a marketing professional, providing your audience with relevant content via your organization’s social media accounts is just one of the many duties the job entails. And if you’re managing several of these accounts, say 50 including LinkedIn and Facebook groups, manually posting custom messages to each one is going to take time. Oktopost supports the major social media sites – LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, and Google+. It allows you to add company pages and personal profiles, and invite colleagues to join advocacy boards so employees can share company-approved messages, extending your brand’s overall social media reach.

Oktopost’s autoposter feature lets you schedule posts for long-term campaigns and publish saved messages across your different social networks. Posts can be scheduled to publish just once or multiple times.

Social Listening

Oktopost’s social listening feature lets you “listen” in real time to what your target audiences are saying about your brand, what makes them tick, and which calls to action resonate with them the most. It also allows you to connect with influencers, thought leaders, and potential prospects. The live monitoring stream keeps track of mentions, keywords, company pages, and even competitor activities, enabling you to engage in relevant social conversations and make your brand stand out, and reply to feedback and customer queries straight from the app.

The app also comes with a built-in content discovery and curation platform that displays well-performing content from across the web. The content curation engine allows you to share timely and relevant articles and blog posts in just a few clicks. The type of content that shows up is based on the interests and keywords you specify.

Social ROI

Oktopost’s social analytics feature shows you the direct impact of your social media activities to the company’s sales pipeline. Conversions are tracked, including which message types and social media channels are generating the most results. Leads are monitored from the first time they engage with your message until they become actual, paying customers.

Unlimited graphical reports on conversions, likes, comments, clicks, and other forms of social engagement are provided, and collected data can be segmented according to message, campaign, social network, users, and groups. Data can be exported as PDF, Excel, and CSV files.

Social Advocacy

Oktopost recognizes the power of employees as brand ambassadors and allows you to invite as many of them to join social advocacy boards. Pinned messages show up on their dashboards, and they can then choose those they’d like to push to their own networks.

To identify your organization’s top brand ambassadors and encourage a healthy dose of competition, leaderboards are available to keep track of the performance of each post on each profile. They can also help you plan incentive programs and measure how each employee contributes to your social media marketing objectives.

Agency Program

If you’re running a social media marketing agency, Oktopost lets you manage several different accounts, segment your campaigns, and organize your team’s workflows in one centralized location. The platform also allows clients to visualize how your social media efforts are impacting their revenue numbers by granting them access to a dashboard exclusively theirs so they can track KPIs, benchmarks, and actual performance alongside your team.

User roles can be defined to divide social media tasks among teams, create user groups, and specify access permissions. Users can be assigned to teams, and user groups can be assigned to campaigns. Oktopost’s single sign-on feature enables you to manage all of your customers’ accounts using the same login credentials.

Social marketing is difficult for our team because we don't often have huge amounts of time to spend getting campaigns up and running.

Pros

• Outstanding customer support • Unique product - the campaign focus is excellent for marketing teams • Campaign tagging for report filtering • Reports are best-in-class with important metrics (conversion funnel)

Pros

- HubSpot integration and detailed conversion tracking to better assess social effectiveness - Autoposting features and bulk upload options for faster social message creation and scheduling (across all social platforms, not just twitter) - Feedly integration to make sharing industry content easy - Monitoring sections to view engagement and interaction - Campaign segmentation for easy use, scheduling and tracking

Cons

In the future we'd like to see more segmentation on the leaderboard - by social campaign if possible, as not everyone in the business needs to post on all topics.

We've tied our social media to our actual return on investment in campaigns and gained a ton of insight into the efficacy of our social in general.

Pros

Tons of analytics insight for social that you don't normally see in these kinds of platforms.

Cons

Using the platform to its fullest takes 2-3 hours of training with an Oktopost rep. That's more than any other scheduler I've used previously.

Although we really didn't have much other choice for platforms, this one works for us pretty well.

Pros

You can schedule posts, review stats, and it has a WYSIWYG editor for creating content.

Cons

I also don't really rely on the reporting data, so we just use Google Analytics.

Good tool for Community Management

It also allows you to track campaigns, and create a content calendar.

Pros

- it suggests optimal post timing for your key channels - easy to work with user interface - great for scheduling posts - downloading reports in PDF is easy

Cons

- you can't publish one post to multiple channels at the same time - I couldnt't tag people on Google+ - doesn't allow you to post images on LinkedIn
