OptiSigns is so simple to setup and the customer service is top notch. [sensitive content hidden] is always very responsive. Digital signage is now one of our favorite services to sell to new customers.

Pros

OptiSigns allows us to offer an affordable and professional solution to our customers who need digital signage. The ability to edit and update content within moments is great and OptiSigns simple platform makes digital signage a win win for us.

Cons

We wish that there was an app to include our iCal in our feed. We also don't love that several apps don't seem to work - Monday.com for example - at least they don't work on all screens - it would be nice if system / platform requirements were listed with the apps so we could see that it won't work prior to installing it and setting it up.

Essential Tool for our Events

This is and essential tool for our workflow when operating with our digital display screens. It's relatively easy to train another user on, and the content management system is great for organizing specific content and playlists. We've run into issues with not being able to connect to Wi-Fi on our digital screens, and it takes much longer to install all the content manually.

Pros

Our team loves the ability to remotely control specific content, manage playlists, and being able to preinstall content on our digital screens. It's the only application we use on our digital screens.

Cons

Downloading OptiSigns onto our screens can be challenging, and relying on Wi-Fi connections is one of the biggest issues we have with our screens in general.

OptiSigns is great for our organization!

Our experience with OptiSigns has been wonderful. We had a system before that was far too complicated. OptiSigns delivers the information we need, where we need it, when we need it. It's super easy to use and looks great.

Pros

OptiSigns allows us to send content to multiple screens throughout our organization. We have six locations, some of which are separated by a 2-3 hours drive. With OptiSigns, we can push information to whichever branch we need, to whatever audience can view that screen. It's perfect for a multilocation organization that has several different audiences. It's extremely easy to use and build playlists for different locations and/or time periods.

Cons

Honestly I can't think of many cons. We're very happy with our service!

More functionality at a lower price, compared to current software

I am using this to show videos in my lobby, slideshows about new services in my exam room and for my staff I am displaying a Google Data Studio dashboard that shows them their goal completions. The ability to automate a the entire process (set it and forget it) is gold, while my customers/patients see helpful and entertaining information (plus a little marketing) while they wait to be seen. Any type of business in any industry could benefit from displaying messages on a TV screen, especially since TV's are so cheap. You can even have a TV in the bathroom with a sports ticker from ESPN (a free app with OptiSigns).

Pros

I just recently signed up for a trial with OptiSigns and was sold from the first hour of playing with it. It's super easy to upload or create assets and add them to playlists. In addition there seems to be an app for every need, including embedding a Google Data Studio dashboard for my team members to look at. What I really like is that I can schedule playlists for the entire year in advance. I created playlists for every month and scheduled them for the entire year, which includes holiday messages for specific months. I am a doctor and am using OptiSigns to display slideshows in my lobby & exam room for our patients, educating them about other services we offer. Compared to the service I am currently using, OptiSigns costs half and has more functionality.

Cons

There is a upload limit of 1GB with the trial and 10GB per screen for the paid version. Since I am using this for HD videos, it would be nicer to have a more generous limit nut not a big deal.

Best Digital Sign Decision we ever made.

We used a different program for years, it was expensive and antiquated. There were hardly any templates and it would not communicate with our screen about 80% of the time. When it was time to find a new program, we switched to OptiSigns because of the amount of templates (for my employees that are not computer savvy), the cost and the sheer ease of using the program. It is and was a huge game-changer in our display screen.

Pros

We used a different digital sign program for many years, it was old and outdated. We moved to OptiSigns 2 years ago and it was the best decision we ever made. The templates are abundant, the ease of adding new signs is amazing. OptiSigns runs so smoothly and each of our assets looks so crisp and fresh that every visitors that comes in to our center comments on the screen of information.

Cons

I can honestly say, there is nothing I don't like about it. I guess if I had to find one small thing, it is maybe have a few more tourism related templates

An affordable and creative impact!

OptiSigns is the best option for my needs, considering I came from another digital display company (which I used for many years but paid $$$$ yearly) the UI is easy to learn and navigate; the functions are inclusive and fun for showcasing our content; the price point is unbeatable (I started with a free trial and quickly upgraded); we never seem to have any issues with it. If you want to add a display to your business - definitely give this a try. Even if it's just to show local weather and custom signage.

Pros

The ease of use is great. The functions are straight forward and all the features are simple to navigate.

Cons

I wish there was a few more apps to choice from that were relevant to my business, and the customizing on the social media apps could have more functionality (ie. auto hide expired posts, layout and design options.)

OptiSigns for Restaurant Use

We use OptiSigns every day for our restaurants both for guest facing and team facing screens. It's been a great tool to be able to effectively get our messages across. The plus is that it's a cloud based app and not a device you have to purchase to use. This allows me to remotely control my playlists with real time updates rather than downloading a playlist that could take a day to update.

Pros

It's easy to use, easy to manage, and allows me to get good information infront of my guests and my team

Cons

It doesn't come without it's glitches. Canva is an App I use most for playlist content and it's frustrating that it doesn't work better- no moving graphics, can't actually login and it pull from your playlist library, etc. Google reviews are also something we wish we could use but they don't play the content you want them to. The weather app and Instagram will often cause glitches on the playlist unless you update them regularly.

Having very limited experience with content management software, I appreciate the simplicity and intuitive web based software. I was able to set up 17 screens in a couple of hours. Making changes is super simple as well.

Pros

The ease of use and implementation. Being able to setup multiple playlists and schedules is a great feature.

I really don't have a complaint. The learning curve was short and I was up and running very quickly.

I really like the remote screen management and the playlists. This is a great option for the low cost, and it works with any Amazon Fire device, so I didn't even have to buy any new TVs or devices in order to start using the software. The templates are fairly useful, but there is a little room for improvement with the slide editor, it would be great if the editor worked on mobile devices. The text...

I think it would be helpful if some of the design elements they have in the templates were editable (like if there is a background image color splash, you could change the color, or select design elements from a menu like the icons). My overall experience with OptiSigns has been highly positive. The platform has significantly improved our in-store communications and allowed us to engage with our customers more effectively. What I liked most about OptiSigns was its incredibly intuitive user interface, which made the process of managing our digital signage content a breeze. The drag-and-drop functionality for scheduling content across various screens was seamless and required very little technical expertise. The feature I found most useful was the real-time content update capability, which allowed us to keep our messaging timely and relevant, especially during high-traffic periods in our retail stores.

Cons

What I liked least about OptiSigns was occasionally experiencing a slower response from customer support. Although the issues we faced were minor and not frequent, there were times when I felt that the response to our queries could have been more prompt. This aspect did sometimes slow down our ability to resolve issues quickly and efficiently, particularly when we were rolling out new advertising campaigns.

Optisigns saves us time and effort every day

We tried a handful of other products and Optisigns is the best we've encountered so far - in ease of use, functionality, device management, and cost per device - for fully managed/supported devices and platform.

Pros

Separating devices and content and playlists allows crisscrossing creative content with appropriate device audiences with minimal effort or duplication of work. The remote screen management makes it easy for IT to manage/support the deployment and problems that might arise with the devices.

Cons

Sometimes there is a large delay between publishing changes and seeing it on the screens - I wish this could be improved.

Pros

It does exactly what I want when I need it done. I can be miles away and I can change my signage and update my playlist. It's exactly what I needed. There are free options out there, however they don't have as many features and they are nowhere near as reliable

Cons

The price - I would like to add more displays, but the cost per screen per month would really be too much.

The designer can be a bit troublesome at times if you are dealing with lots of information or tiny adjustments

The Optisigns application did not limit me to a layout design, it allowed me to create a screen layout as needed to display the video content as requested by the corporate Director of Media and Communications. I was able to create multiple screen display on a single split screen which was split into many smaller display areas. I also use the scheduling feature to automatically schedule different screen...

Cons

I so far have not encountered some feature, option, or situation with the Optisigns product application, this is why I keep testing and trying the various options available. There is so much to try and be amazed at. If and when I encounter something I will provide an update.

Electronic theater playbills.

At our theater/live concert hall, we use OptiSigns for digital signage of upcoming events. This becomes an electronic promotional listing. OptiSigns gives us the ability to easily manage these assets and playlist. As an event passes, we can easily remove that graphic from all displays. Likewise, we can add graphics as an event is announce. For private events, we can change from the "upcoming shows"...

Pros

Cost effective with not a lot of expensive device and network infrastructure. Easy to change assets and playlist. Ability to loop video assets. Available app to manage devices. IOS & Android Easy to add/remove devices as needed, while maintaining one user interface.

Cons

Could us a little better flexibility for account/billing. Sometimes we might need to add a single device to our account for a single event, without paying for an extended plan for that additional device. Maybe, a daily or weekly plan for additional devices beyond the first device. Also would be great to have the ability to assign multiple devices to the same screen. I would like to have a number of display devices all be the same. As things currently work, I have to make changes to each screen. I wish that I could assign screens as duplicates, so I only have to do it once.

Best Digital Signage Platform on the Market

OptiSigns allows me update 3 large TV screens spread across two different floors of our agency. I'm using video, still images, an Instagram connected feed, local weather widget and other media on occasion and through playlists can set things just the way I want. Troubleshooting remotely is a blessing and it's low cost just sweetens the whole deal!

Pros

The intuitive setup and ease of use when working with media of all sorts really helped get content on our agency's screens quickly and easily. The added plug-ins for social helped too because it reduced the amount of content that we have to update manually – we get just set, adjust and tweak until we get the desired result. Perfect!

Cons

This isn't really a knock on OptiSigns, but our pain point was working with BrightSign players and their terrible interface to even get to OptiSigns. Once the endless provisioning and reboots were complete, selecting and using a partner software for the players were a breeze.

Complex Scheduling Powerhouse

It's been wonderful. Pricing was honest and upfront, deployment was simple and we had 30 screens up and running in under a day. Support has been responsive. OptiSigns is a great company to partner with.

Pros

The first feature that attracted me to OptiSigns was the scheduling engine. My organization has some very specific scheduling needs and OptiSigns was the only provider that could meet our needs. We need three sets of content that could rotate on a bi-weekly basis for each content set. So we need to be able to schedule at least six weeks in advance, OptiSigns was the only product that could meet our needs.

Cons

I have yet to find any real flaw with OptiSigns. Perhaps once per year one of our displays may need to be reset and reconnected to the console. Honestly though, that could be a network issue or a client device issue. I can't honeslty say with certainity that OptiSigns is the true source of this once in a blue moon occurence.

Fantastic! Quick to set up and easy to use!

Pros

When I first started looking at digital signage options, the process got overwhelming very fast. Reviews like these help me make a quicker decision. Optisigns was super easy to learn (unlike other platforms). I had my first screen set up in minutes using my own digital content. The scheduling platform was super helpful to set up different menus for different times of the day. I love being able to update my signage remotely, as our menu can change on a daily basis. The support has been super helpful each time I've used them - quick and friendly replies both on email and phone. I highly recommend using them.

Cons

Not much. As I've said, they've been great! My only complaint is with using the ROKU app. Because of ROKU's "sleep mode", I have to use a screensaver option on my ROKU TV using Optisigns. I don't know if anything has changed with this, but I know it's not really an Optisigns issue. Optisigns was able to put out a fix for this pretty fast, which I appreciated. It's a ROKU thing, and I already don't like ROKU. :)

Overall, we have had a pleasant experience with OptiSigns. It was a much better solution to our previous Digital Signage company and we are looking to expand the signage to more locations.

Pros

OptiSigns was extremely easy to implement throughout our 15 branches and fit our budget. Scheduling content for specific locations was a plus for us as well.

Cons

The On/Off Feature with the managed devices does not always work, we are still trying to iron this issue out.

When the platform is working like it should, it´s perfect, great tools and ease of use.

Pros

It´s a robust platform, it´s very easy to use and deploy, we can have hundreds of players working on multiple Teams.

Cons

Some times there are problems with the servers and the service in general, like when I´m unable to upload content, unable to use Canva, White label platform doesn´t work like the official one.

Very good for starting with digital signage, could be slightly better.

I like majority of the features but as I mentioned above some of the features could be slightly better. I am an avid photographer, video editor, graphics designer and when I connect these three media technology fields and try to use my human capacity at max, this software fails to deliver. Pros

I liked how I could easily use it even from the start. I tried the trial version so far and as soon as I entered the website it was easy to manage everything. Pretty straightforward software and If you have some computer knowledge you will be happy with this, it is not complicated at all. I love how responsive it is in most cases. Cons

I least liked the Visual Editor. Bugging, glitching, loading my assets took tiiiiime. I did a 30 min dog walk while waiting for one single asset to load so I can re-edit something. The clock feature does not work well with images, it starts before images and it glitches on screen for 10 seconds and then the images I've put inside appear.
