I had been searching for a solution for our TV announcements that could be updated remotely and had integration with our already existing software and Optisigns was the best solution. I am not the most tech savvy person but I was able to get Optisigns up and running within 10 minutes. For me this was a very big deal as I had tried other platforms in the past and was unable to get them running without constantly being on the phone with customer service. Optisigns has been a game changer for our company.

At this time, I have absolutely no cons.

Although I am still new and trying to familiarising myself with the software but the idea of using the fire stick TV ( Amazon) and the demonstration on the demo make it so easy.

I don't know if it because I still on the free trial period or it is like that the limitation of how many screen you can add !!

easy to use, simple and easy set up with fire stick

OptiSigns is really easy to get up and running especially if the TV and computer is already in place. Their current app list has a decent selection and you can add pretty much any website you'd like on there.

Maybe a more extensive app selection, notably LinkedIn was missing from the social connectors. Some of the news apps had fairly small text, that may improve the more we use the software and play with the settings though.

The product is easy to use with many tools/apps/widgets and templates to help you create personalized digital advertising that suits everyone's needs. Opti Sign has a reasonable price point and great communication between developers and ourselves whenever we had any questions. I would certainly not have any hesitations in recommending this product to anyone looking to improve their digital advertising!

Although there are many benefits and features with this program, as someone with little I.T expertise sometimes I did find it challenging to read through all the Q & A's, I learn better with visual aids, so maybe (and this is only a small suggestion ) more video's or info graphs in the "How To" section for the day to day apps/widgets/templates/scheduling etc.

Deployment, playlist building, layout building, and content scheduling are all incredibly easy. In testing I would think "can I do this in Optisigns to replicate what I've created elsewhere?" and the answer was always YES and it was dead simple.I'm impressed with the number of integrations with other apps and have been having fun playing with that in the office to test the features, even though our use is just simple premade slideshows on a screen.

Folder management and moving files around in the structure, can't seem to move things back to base folder after putting in a lower folder. Can't scroll on the Playlists screen once the list of playlists goes over 20.

Ease of use and quick setup. Coming from virtually no experience in implementing digital displays, Optisigns makes it very easy to create a professional-looking display.

Lack of "quick change" template. This may be due to my lack of experience with the product, but I am looking to create a template that is easily and quickly modifiable; for example, a weekly specials board.

I love that it integrates with our Canva account. It is also very easy to update my files/assets and the update in almost instant. The old program we were using was very cumbersome and took 15 minutes to update.

I wish there was a way to embed the code from our Canva designs into a file so that any changes to our Canva design were pulled automatically instead of us having to reupload the file.

For the price point, Optisigns has the most features, best scheduling tools, and the most integrations with 3rd party products. It's incredibly easy to use and that fact that it runs on Amazon Fire Tvs/Sticks makes it an affordable option for all budget. Tech support is responsive and incredibly helpful. We highly recommend this product.

Because we are using Amazon Fire tvs, some of the content is slow to load.

The product is very easy to deploy (we are using Fire sticks and also deployed it to built-in web browsers on smart TVs). The ability to use it in the built-in web browser was a nice way to test drive the functionality. Comprehensive functionality that is in line with other products that we tested, and therefore the value for money is hard to beat.

The split-screen/zones functionality was a little non-intuitive but nonetheless, we were able to get it up and running in just a few minutes thanks to built-in support. What we would have liked to see is a better way to edit/update uploaded assets. Having to simply replace them is not ideal from an end-user perspective, but I believe I've only seen this on one comparable system.

First off I want to say that OptiSigns is an amazing and convenient app for the google chromecast tv. It is one of the easiest and best solutions on that platform. Other signage apps either cost alot or their content wouldn't load properly onto the google chromecast. But high resolution images were displayed well on the optisigns app. I have gone through several different apps until I got to optisign and they were all a chore to use. I'm glad that UI is simple and it looks great whether from your mobile device or your desktop website. I would definitely use optisign in the future and would recommend it to others.

I wish Optisign had a phone line for customer support. Most communication is through emails, so if I had an urgent and quick question to ask I couldn't reach them right away. However they do respond quickly over email and have remedied many of my situations. The IOS mobile app could use some work. For instance trying to view the files and previewing them would be very convenient on the phone app.

It is very easy to use and includes a lot of great features!

I wish the audio playlist feature was easier to use and included more music streaming services

The product UI is very easy to use and does everything that is needed. I am familiar with digital signage software and this is by far the easiest to use and set up. Recommend to anyone regardless of experience.

This is not really a con, but the free trial only allowed 2 screens, it would be great to experience the trial on more screens to show case what it can do. In my scenario, I needed 6 screens. But 1 screen is enough to see how smoothly everything runs.

This is really easy to install. We purchased fire sticks for each TV on the wall in our offices, downloaded the Optisigns app in just a few clicks, and it gives us a code. In seconds, your playlist is showing on the screen. You can equally set a schedule, which is great for us to avoid users having to amend the TVs each day.

The screen sync isn't perfect. There is a lag between the screens sometimes, which is noticeable when screens are together. This could be improved.

1.Very nicely laid out and the easy instructions to link the firestick.2. Not complex on the main screen.3. Main one though is that every single photo or web link displays perfectly in the right aspect without having to muck around re-sizing jpgs, or pdfs

Took me a while to work out how to stop the playlist playing but eventually found it.

The most useful feature I came across is the schedule playlist option!The integration process with my restaurant business was so easy.

To say this software is amazing is an understatement. From the easy of scheduling to the playlist set up, sharing information on our screens has never been easier. Having time limit options and the ability to schedule content to run only certain parts of the day is exactly what we needed and the instant updating means I don't have to be running across our very large campus constantly. WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

Haven't found anything I do not like about this software.

customization, font size control, elegant layout, logical management interface.

for pi cant set wifi credentials from within the management portal (need to set it in the pi's ui).

The premade templates are a big attractions comparing to other programs we have used. It is nice to find one I like and change a couple things. I hope you add more in the future!

I feel like a slideshow folder should exist. As of right now I uploaded quite a few images that are flooding my slides. Maybe add an image section specifically. I prefer to have slides in one section and a separate area for images. It seems like a simple addition.

OptiSigns was super easy to get up and running. We launched it using a Roku stick and had no issues whatsoever. After playing around in the UI for a few minutes, we found it very simple and intuitive to upload content and create a playlist for our client. As a bonus, some of teh pre-designed COVID content was really useful. We've tried some other platforms that were not nearly as easy to use. In fact, the platform we switched from was unreliable and had a hard time staying connected.

We create our content outside OptiSigns and import for the playlists, but I gave the design tool a try. I was able to create the visual I wanted, but it took longer than I expected. I chalk that up to my unfamiliarity with the UI. If I weren't already using somethign else, I'd find it handy.

I love the split screen ability! We can a 'dashboard' type screen for our students to get frequently needed info quickly rotate slides of other info.

It is slightly confusing embedding assets within assets. It took a little while to figure out how to use split screen as the asset that housed other assets and the assigning only a single item or playlist to a screen. After that, it was very easy!
