Pros

The functionality of Pardot and the analytics are awesome. This software is a great way to successfully streamline marketing efforts to your customers.
Custom redirects are also one of the best features that Pardot has because you can utilize them on all SoMe platforms for prospect tracking and provide more quality on certain links on your website.
Overall, it is a very good product. Certainly worth the investment if you are can invest the time and resources to improve your marketing efforts.

Pros

I love the ease of use, interface, but most importantly all of Sharpspring employees, and how quickly they respond with tips, ideas, and help with support.
I love all the metrics it provides me which helps me cater my newsletter and make adjustments as needed. This is so important so I can actually alter my content for my audience.
This allows us to better understand and track our users and help determined the best platforms to promote our campaigns.

Cons

I had advised the salesperson of my challenges and concerns with implementing myself which he downplayed and disregarded. It was a complete waste of time and resources for our organization.
The emails send directly to our customers junk mail. So tough to change and their customer service is HORRENDOUS.
After determining that the product simply doesn't work we are transitioning to their competitors. Pardot is still forcing us to pay licensing fees even though their product failed to function.

Cons

The constant failure of the system, the automations fail. They are not fixing the bugs.
Their billing platform is absolutely ridiculous. They bill your clients directly, and not the agency using the platform saying that the client is the end user, not the agency managing the account.
We are now remarketing to leads that were missed during the initial buying cycle and reclaiming that lost revenue on top of increasing our close rate on new clients.

Pros

The team at SharpSpring respond incredibly quickly and are willing to go above and beyond to solve any issues. They listen to their customers' needs and continuously roll out new features and improvements.

Cons

At first, it was a bit difficult to understand their language, coming from Pardot.

Excellent Marketing Automation

We've replaced Pardot with SharpSpring and are happy with the results. The onboarding team has made the switch as painless as any major software switch could be.

Pros

Adaptable, excellent onboarding, great tracking features.

Cons

I wish the CRM was more robust. We currently have to sync with Salesforce for an extra monthly fee, but if SharpSpring's CRM allowed for more options and custom reporting, we'd be able to take Salesforce out of the equation.

Great price

Pros

We just switched from Pardot to SharpSpring and are saving nearly $10,000 a year with this move. SharpSpring is easy to use and has plenty of features you need for marketing automation, like email automation, forms, contact cards, lead scoring, etc. We can also use it for our CRM on the salees side (at no extra cost) and plan to do so, which will save us even more when we get rid of our current CRM vendor.

Cons

There are a few features missing from SharpSpriing that Pardot had, such as being able to require someone to use their work email address when filling out forms. Right now, people can use things like gmail and yahoo, but that doesn't help us identify where they work. It's a small thing, though, and definitely not something that would make me go back to Pardot, especially at this price.

Extremely Customer Focused and a great amount of features for the price.

Great. They are extremely customer focused when it comes to their quick response times to our support tickets, feature requests, and feature releases. They take care of you and you will be hard pressed to find something as good for the money.

Pros

They have a lot of features that other MA tools don't have for the price. They seem to really focus on technology for the companies using it. It is mostly out of the box tools, but they have a decent amount of API capability that we have taken advantage of.

Cons

It is mostly out of the box so it sacrifices some of CRM features and other out of the box features are a little less customize-able than some other, albeit more expensive, tools like Salesforce, Pardot, and Marketo.

Best ROI for Small Medium Sized Business

We are one of the earliest SharpSpring agencies and users. We selected SharpSpring for its price/performance for SMB companies. We have worked extensively with HubSpot, Marketo, Pardot and others - but for small businesses, it is hard to beat the full-stack solution and feature set in SharpSpring.

Pros

Complete integrated tech stack for marketing and sales that includes the core functionality a business needs to execute full-funnel marketing and sales campaigns and manage the sales pipeline.

Cons

SmartMail provides 1:1 direct IMAP email, but it would be nice if there was a sales-driven email automation feature for low volume 1:1 emails to prospects.

Solid product with high value for low cost

My company focuses on lead generation. Therefore, we are heavy users of marketing automation software. We use a variety of platforms, such as Eloqua, Marketo, Pardot, InfusionSoft, Act-On, etc. across our client ecosystem. We are also Certified Silver Partners of both HubSpot and SharpSpring. We have used both HubSpot and now SharpSpring.

Pros

SharpSpring provides tremendous value for the cost. It has a breadth of functionality that provides the "all-in-one" integrated platform that our clients need but at a lower price point than other similar providers. I like the visual representation of the life of the lead and the the very light but easy to use CRM.

Cons

I don't think this platform is as easy to use for end users as more expensive options. Some of the navigation and set-up can be tricky. It can also be glitch-y, but it's still relatively young and the company is responsive about listening to feedback and fixing issues.

A Sellian we offer Marketing and Sales as a Service, and we serve many customers on a retainer base. For all these customers we use SharpSpring, since the platform is easy to use and offers great value for money. Competitors like Hubspot, Infusionsoft and Pardot are way overpriced compared to SharpSpring when you're a small or mid-sized company.

All-in-one marketing/sales automation tool at a great value

Overally, we've been using SharpSpring for a few months and it's exceeded our expectations and we haven't hit any limitations with it. Glad to have a tool where all parts of sales/marketing automation exist and all of our sales/marketing data can be tracked. I'd definitely recommend it to an organization looking to get the most out of their sales/marketing teams.

Pros

SharpSpring mimics the best parts of other, more expensive marketing automation platforms like HubSpot, Pardot, Act-On and Marketo. Their UI is better looking than all except HubSpot's, and the tool is just as easy to use. Their CRM migration tool makes it easy to switch from another crm like Salesforce while maintaining custom property and notes data. The visual landing page and email template builders are great to use and really intuitive.

Cons

There was a slight learning curve for a few of the tools, but that's to be expected for any new platform. Certain parts of the UI seem a bit old-school with some custom property options labeled as "boolean," "bit," or "text-input," but those are easy to get past. It's actually hard to pin point things that I don't like about SharpSpring.

SharpSpring is a Great Alternative to Big MA Systems

It makes 360 reporting and ROI measurement a cinch. Everything can be pulled into SharpSpring when we can really see where our money is going when it comes to ad spend.

Pros

The price is great for all it does. It really stands up against a Pardot or Marketo when it comes to low/mid-level marketing automation or email marketing. I love that it has a built in CRM that you can easily integrate into marketing flows. Not every company needs a huge system, this a great entry pint into the email marketing and marketing automation space for small to mid size businesses.

Cons

There is a learning curve (as there is with any email marketing tool) but once you're over the hump, it's very user friendly. I also wish the incremental price per email (after you hit your limit) was less.

Overall I give this tool 5 stars, A's all across, two thumbs up, a wink and a smile. As I mentioned, I have been using the tool now for 4 years and have quite a bit of experience using their competitors and so-called "market leaders". I love Sharp Spring it does everything, at a value you can hardly compare.

Pros

Sharp Spring provides me and my clients with several advantages over its competition (like Eloqua, Marketo, Pardot, Infusionsoft). First of all, you can not beat their licensing value. Each license comes with unlimited users. This alone beats all the competition. Secondly, they have integrated an awesome CRM (missing in all the other marketing automation tools) so you do not have to go out and buy licenses for that. Lastly, it is a COMPLETE marketing automation system with true behavioral marketing capabilities.

Cons

At first, I had a hard time understanding how they do automation. I was used to using a drag and drop "visualization" interface to build drip campaigns. I also had a bit of a hard time getting used to their nomenclature. The way that automation processes are set up in Sharp Spring are through two things... Tasks (which I was used to calling triggers) and Workflow (which I was used to calling task automation). You can see how it was confusing for me. Well I learned it, it was not that hard, and I actually see now how it is a way superior way to program automation then using visual aids that would be cumbersome to try to set up and manage in large scale automation projects.

First Time CRM User on Any Platform!

Overall, I was skeptical about navigating a new software that I had no experience in, but, the platform is intuitive, there are knowledbase tools to use if you have questions and SharpSpring Account Managers and Customer Service are available to help. We have clients that use Salesforce and think the SharpSpring interface is easier to navigate and the marketing tools are more robust then Pardot. Overall, the mid-rise expense is worth every penny you're paying for it to have one tool for all your sales and marketing needs.

Pros

Prior to using SharpSpring, I had never used a CRM platform. It is very intutive and has the ability to leverage marketing and sales initiatives with ease. The options are quite endless for the cost.

Cons

After 14 months of using the SharpSpring platform, I haven't run into anything that can't be done and they keep adding new features and dashboards.

Sharp Spring - worth considering!

We left Salesforce (which we loved) for Sharp Spring. Salesforce + Pardot are much more expensive and cost was a factor for us. Sharp Spring is easy to use and more affordable. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that the system goes down occasionally, and that's a bit of a problem for us, as we're generally on deadlines to deliver client materials. Sharp Spring customer service is excellent and the company is eager and open to listening and supporting its resellers. Also, Sharp Spring is easy to use, so everyone in my company can work on it. And that's a huge plus. Daily reports come through early enough so I can see how our customer acquisition program is doing - who is engaging, and who isn't.

Pros

Ease of use, great customer service, new program for building landing pages, the company is open to enhancing its current suite of services.

Cons

It's a bit frustrating when I hear from my staff that the system is down and we're in the midst of launching a new campaign. Other than that, it seems to operate very well.
