Pros

It's focused so much on user experience. Both internal users and those leaving reviews are welcomed with an experience that helps drive results.
I was very happy with how easy podium was to set up and use. I have gained a lot of reviews that have helped get recognized online.
That in the last 2 months we have received more reviews than ever, and it is pretty amazing how many calls we get now because everyone looks up reviews before they call a business these days.

Pros

We've used a couple of different review platforms for our clients and this one has by far pulled in the greatest results. One of our dentists now has over 300 5 star reviews and he's thrilled.
Swell has been fantastic in increasing the number of Google Reviews for our office. It was super easy to get set up to and sync with our management software.
Swell has been a great interface to increase our reviews for our new business. The site is easy to use, the campaigns are clear and the invitations are very user friendly for our patients.

Cons

The phone app is AWFUL and glitches constantly. Hard to see/find who you are talking to, errors out or stops working, doesn't give alerts or gives too many alerts.
Went through all kinds of hoops including a mandatory "screen share" by our account rep trying to keep us which made it worse. You CANNOT call or write in and cancel ever.
There is no 3-month window where you can opt out if it's not for you unless you demand one up front. The messaging features are completely redundant to what we already had on various platforms.

Cons

When you do that it takes reviews away from google and Facebook. I probably had 30 people review me in swells platform which is completely worthless because no one can see them but me.
The time of day reviews are sent, Patient are annoyed when they receive them late at night.
They already integrate with most practice management softwares so I can't imagine this would be difficult to do.

Great Product

Great support team. They are very transparent and don't try to upsell! Great product.

Pros

Extremely easy to use and works seamlessly with our patient management software

Cons

There is no webchat (like Podium) but I still find Swell easier to use than Podium.

Swell

Smooth onboarding & truly increase our reviews

We were looking for a solution that increased the amount of reviews we currently get on Google, Facebook and other sites. We considered many solutions, and even adjusting our current solution, but when we talked to Swell we found them not to be the lowest cost option, but their quality shined. They definitely are lower cost than the other competitors we looked at (Birdeye & Podium), but what really motivated us was no contract and the fact that they were a genuine and sincere operation. Once we turned their solution on, it massively increased our rate of reviews - at least 5x.

Pros

Easy integration with our Eagleosft dental software. They increased our reviews by 5x. Support has been rarely used, but when we have had to talk to them: great.

Cons

There isn't anything we like least. Their support is responsive. Their website is fast and easy to use. Their software syncs with our server well. They have plenty of great recommendations. I don't know what to say "least" about. :)
