Overall it is ok, not the best i've seen. Definitely could use a lot of improving

The dashboard and the csv import process

Cons

Limitation on daily receipts to send message with local number, also having to pay credit per response back to the messages.

Connecting Supporters

Pony Express HQ has provided me the opportunity to more personally connect with my non-profit's supporters on a weekly basis. Thank you!

Pros

As the director of a small non-profit, I'm able to easily connect with supporters on weekly basis. I can see how many people have subscribed. It's easy to edit templates to include weekly details of happenings here. This is a great way for our supporters to have a more intimate connection with our ministry.

Cons

It's hard for me to know how many credits each message uses. I'm sure if I take a closer look, I'd be able to figure it out. I just haven't yet.

Easiest Program

Pros

This has been a great source of communication for our agency. We have been able to sort by groups and send notifications to the applicable parties and staff.

Cons

There's no too much we don't like about the program, but would like to add another person to the notification system when needed.

Good until you have questions that you need answered

Pros

Software is easy to use, data entry process is simple.

Cons

No customer support. Made the using the software frustrating when you have questions.

I love the bulk import without a waiting period.

Cons

One local phone number per 100 contacts.

Carriers expect a single local phone number to send text messages maximum of 100 unique phone numbers. You can also purchase additional local phone numbers on the dashboard so that you can send text messages to more people if you want. So far so good.

Pros

Pony Express HQ is very easy to use so far. Everything is set up and ready for you to use within your dashboard. This is my first time trying Pony Express HQ so I can't thoroughly give my full thoughts on it. They give a good bit of opportunities to earn free credit so that should help you get a feel for it before spending your own money.

Pros

I love the ease of use. It's so easy to use and our team loves it! We love that you can opt in to text message group by just one keyword by a simple number.

Cons

Nothing. We absolutely love this product. The dashboard is nice and easy to use and it's so easy to send out a mass text.

User friendly for first timer

Getting our messaging out to the people serve is simple and east. People who don't utilize social media, this is great way to connect to the community.

Pros

Importing contacts was easy with the template provided and navigating the dashboard is very simple!

Cons

The only thing I found difficult was doing a little research and having to get '"express prior written consent" to be able to send messages legally.
