I have had many issues when it comes to this software. Their CRM is unable to search duplicates. It does communicate with my other software but it does not update properly. I have had emails sent out at 3 am because my user profile went from EST to some random time zone. I put multiple requests in the have this resolved but it was changed back with out a reason for it being changed in the first place....

Software BI is good for simple data visualizations. If that's your goal, then you will have a good experience, like I did.
The learning curve is quite fast, you get used to the software quickly.
It does not have as many options for data visualization as other softwares in the market.

Best product in the market for visual representation of data. Great features for analysis
The connectivity with Microsoft access could be improved but so far no loopholes

Excellent experience.
One of the easiest ways to visualize data on the market. So easy to use.
The sheer amount of information available can sometimes be overwhelming.

Use to create dashboards for visualization of data and content sharing.
This is the best visualization tool on the market as well as the cheapest. Very easy to use as it is based on excel.
Lacks some of the features and tools as some of the other products that have been in the market longer.

Very user friendly like other Microsoft product, performance is on par with current BI tools in the market.
Requires technical know-how and knowledge, business users might not be able to use the tool directly without IT layer in between

Business Intelligence software that is included in our existing Microsoft Office licensing package.
Intuitive for people who have already been utilizing any variety of Microsoft's other products. They are adding features and functionality to Power BI at such a rapid pace that it won't be long before Power BI is better than all of the alternatives.
Missing a small number of features. Can run into some bugs/glitches because it is still fairly new to the BI tools market.

It has been great having a tool like Power BI available to us especially in such an expensive market!
Power BI does a fantastic job of collating and displaying your data in a way that is so easily digestible. Hooking up your data source isn't a terrible process and being able to dive deep and drill down into your data is readily available. They also do a great job in the market on pricing. We reviewed several data visualization tools when we were purchasing and Power BI edged all other competitors out on price very easily.
Like all data visualization tools hooking up your data is going to be the challenging part, but with BI it isn't even that bad.

Power BI is a cool tool for making pretty reports - visuals and color choices are very appealing. Simple report s are easy to make and integrates really well with other Microsoft tools. R integration and support is another advantage. The insights generated by the tool on its own sometimes can be really good but needs a lot of improvements to be reliable every time.
Limited integration option- especially with NoSQL databases. It is fairly relatively new in the market - doesn't have some features- small community, so may not find help always

1) Integration with other MS products 2) MS is adding additional features based on market requirements 3) MS support and engineers are good and technically strong
1) Moved from free version to paid version, leading to team not able to access the reports 2) High volume of data sometimes hangs the reports 3) Faced issues with connections with the cloud leading to non display of reports

This is a great tool which allows our organization to share data in a meaningful way. Unfortunately, the tool is so complex that only a few have the full understanding of how the tool works and how to solve certain bugs originated by the raw data.
Very flexible tool with various types of data visualization. It resemblance to Excel allows advanced users from Excel to easily migrate to this new tool.
The tool have many complications regarding publishing of dashboards and we need to pay extra money just for the creation of market spaces where we can share the reports and dashboards.

I have been using past 1.8 years with this tool. overall am very happy and good experience with MSBI and I strongly recommended.
This is one of the best tool in the market for data reporting. by using this tool we can integrate all type of databases in the market. third party application interaction is easy. every one can easily learn by using online tutorials. even not technical persons also easily can learn. for data visualization, we can do multiple designs for one data table. it supports api's as well. great GUI for look and fee.
As of now i don't see any concern here but need to improve some RDBMS architecture

I am a Power BI Developer and have delivered many dashboards to the client in Power BI. Its Better than other Products. Its Save my lot of time by using Power BI various features. From Importing the Data to Publishing ,Its a easier platform I would suggest you to use. It contains the most trending Visuals in the market that a every developer wants.
1)Its Easy to use, Provides a Reliable user interface . 2)Its Time efficient as most of the work Power BI does it even before you know. 3)Integration to the third party visuals and creating its own market place have already took it way further than other products. 4)A User can customize its design and can easily give the dashboard access to the public. 5)It contains the most trending Visuals in the market.
1)Software is reliable on Latest Machines. 2)Old machines then need to be upgraded(OS, RAM) to use this software smoothly. 3) Multiple Dashboards can hang the entire system.

The tool takes a little to get used to but fairly straightforward. It is tightly integrated to SQL Server and has excellent security functionality. Availability and cost of Power BI make the product very attractive. It supports the complete Microsoft stack. Supports third party developers for analytics and image tools.
Microsoft manages the certified training programs which are terrible. Power BI does not bring anything new and interesting graphical to the market - bar charts, pie charts, line graphs . . . Microsoft is way behind other comparable products.
