While there have been some hiccups maintaining our ScreenCloud display, I have been pleased with the customer support.
I liked that it was easy to set up and start using this software quickly, there was a low barrier to entry.
It is difficult to QA the display when I'm not on-site.

Very happy with all aspects.
I like the ease with which you can change the complete look and style of this application.
The international aspect causes a small accounting issue for us with a .16 additional charge (a small price to pay for such a well-functioning product)

Best, easiest and most affordable digital signage solution I have found.
The ease of changing the signage in 1 minute I can update my information. Also the ease of putting outside up to the minute information (weather) for our course is invaluable.
Would like a way to implement live video or animated gifs.

We have used ScreenCloud for over a year. I always thought it was too expensive per screen. I had a need for a second screen to be added, and I came across OptiSigns. I reached out to ScreenCloud and asked about the second screen and if they could be competitive. I was told no. OptiSigns does the same thing as ScreenCloud, and even used our existing hardware (firetv stick), and is half the cost. At $10 per screen, it's a reasonable price for use to expand to more screens. So we switched.
The cost was too high, and there are similar and better priced products available.

Easy to use the software, great customer service, affordable pricing for nonprofits.
The last update that came through was a game-changer. We have about 12 TVs throughout the city we live in, advertising events, programs, and businesses. The new software lets me easily update, schedule, and review content whenever I want.
I had a billing issue where I was being charged foreign transaction fees on my credit card but it seems to have been resolved.

It has worked beautifully in our context, and I am always recommending it to other churches/camps.
We use it for several teams at different sites and schedules. The flexibility to customize the content at different times is simple and I love that I can do this from anywhere (with internet).
Some extra customization to the schedule would be great. For example, when we have a weekend event, it'd be great to be able to create the schedule to turn on and back off for that event in advance. I think pricing for bulk screen would be great too. For example, we have 2 TV's that are always playing the same content in the same building, but in different areas. It'd be great to pay for 1 screen instead of 2 in that case.

ScreenCloud has been a big part of providing timely information for employees in our building, as well as making our lobby space more welcoming. When I looked for a product that would help us provide information to employees in a timely manner and that was more than just a conference room schedule, I tested several options that were more expensive and harder to learn/use. ScreenCloud is the easiest to setup and the features we get for this price-point are well worth the price per screen/TV
I've been using ScreenCloud for a few years, but just upgraded from ScreenCloud Signage to the new ScreenCloud Studio. Just in the little time I have used the new Studio version I would say it is a huge improvement over Signage with regard to ease-of-use and new features. There are several features that I like including the ability to create multiple channels and screencast emergency or other important notices and then resume normal scheduling.
This isn't necessarily an issue with the software, but it would be nice to have some more news options pre-set in the list to choose from when setting up a live-feed of a news channel.

I enjoy ScreenCloud a lot. It livens up the workplace and is easy to use. The customer service was great and they seem to really care about their customers.
When looking for a digital signage software, ScreenCloud was a little bit more expensive per screen than competitors, but in my opinion, a lot more easier to understand and use. Also, uploading your own videos and pictures is easy along with scheduling times for certain playlists. The customer service was also phenomenal compared to other software. I would email someone about a question, and then 30 minutes later I would have an answer! The team at ScreenCloud was very helpful and worked with us for a while in order to make sure we understood what we were buying and to help us understand all the different parts of the software.
The canvas feature has limited customizability and the app store doesn't have a ton of new apps. Using internal links is also not possible at the time but it seems like other services also do not have that feature. However, from talking to customer support, it seems like they are working on new apps and improvements all the time.

We provide content directly to our patients. Before COVID this was stills and not much else. During COVID we began running video content to ease isolation. We run a lot of content now. We switched to ScreenCloud last year and our experience has been smooth and very worth the price. The software is not designed for being a video channel, and I would love to tweak it for our purposes. But it is much more flexible than our previous product and on the whole I am satisfied. Using ScreenCloud has dramatically improved our service to our patients.
It is easy to access and use, making daily changes. It is flexible and has gone way beyond basic signage.
Not every feature (e.g. scheduling) is available in every tier of production (i.e. "playlists" "channel" "screen").

We use ScreenCloud to show various types of images and video across multiple screens in multiple locations for a large multi-site church.
The screen cloud software has a lot of pros including the flexibility of the hardware that you run it on to the usability of the software. It's fairly intuitive for simple functions but also has some power user features that can be useful if you have the ability to dig in a little more to schedule and set up various playlists.
The cost can be fairly high for just a few screens. Once you reach a large screen discount that makes a big difference. Most of the issues I would have would be around additional updates that would make specific uses much more easy for a repeat use case.

We're very pleased to be able to distribute digital signage to multiple locations, with little effort in terms of implementation, as well as eliminating the need for on-premise or LAN management.
Great support for most OS-types, low cost, versatile in terms of deployment, easy to use for users with basic IT knowledge. Cloud managed, only need local access to internet in able to manage a remote screen.
Required the use of a credit card, at the time of acquisition. Invoice would be better suited to our needs.

ScreenCloud has excellent customer service that is fast and knowledgeable. The product is constantly evolving and improving with new features and integration. They provide a lot of very useful and informational instructions and online training in both the technology and the business uses.
The easy of use, the feature set, the integration, the customer support, and all the great training and information information provided on both the technology and business applications.
Would be nice to have a virtual test screen feature so you can see the result of your changes before applying it to the actually screen. Right now you have to apply it to the actual screen to see the results of your change.

We have a high value of our lobby and venue screens running a loop of announcement slides before and after our services and events. With evening activities practically every day of the week, having the ability to remotely upload a slide and have the ability to program when that particular slide should be inactivated is crucial. With Screencloud, we're able to set that expiration date at the time of upload, and forget about it. Then it just disappears on that date/time without anyone having to remember. Screencloud has been a great help, and is now considered a member of our communications team!
Easy to set up and implement! The apps are well-designed, changes are visible instantly, and the quality is excellent. We have really benefited from being able to add slides and content from home or from a different campus, and the screens update immediately on site. The web portal is easy to understand and navigate for our team.
Support on various devices is more of a limit of the devices than the software. For example, we first tried Google Chromecast, and those kept going to sleep overnight, and we couldn't find a way to keep that from happening. Moved to Amazon Fire sticks and they work much better. Every now and then one of them goes to sleep, but for the most part we don't have to worry about that.

It's been really a smooth experience with Screencloud from deployment to manging content. We tried other screen services and ScreenCloud is far superior.
The best solution for in-store screens and advertising I have found for our business. Simple to deploy using Firesticks. It's simple to create and customize playlists for each screen, have expiration dates for time-specific information, and it serves up both images and videos, plus screencloud's own useful content too (e.g. weather forecast etc).
I have had some issues with Firesticks that have required replacing because of updates not being compatible with Screencloud. From time to time the app will require a little attention (re-boots, login etc), but most of the time these devices are reliably up and running 24/7.

Turn any consumer display device into your own high quality digital display signage. Excellent web interface for management and scheduling. Value for money and great ROI
Would like more flexibity for admin / management from mobile devices. Additional portal roles for system admins so that they can delegate roles to power users for management of content and schedules.

ScreenCloud is easy to use and works well, but if you're looking for analytics, tech spec reports, quick customer service, affordability, and deep options for power/pro users, then its not the ticket. I won't recommend ScreenCloud for medium to large businesses that use multiple screens in multiple locations. This is made more for a very small business operating 1-5 screens with no need for deep options.
The simplicity of ScreenCloud is terrific and the web-based UI is well designed.
ScreenCloud is lacking depth in the user options and file permissions field, there are no analytics, and doesn't work well on the Android platform. For the price per screen, its not competitively priced for large deployments.

I went through a two-week trial of the 2015 version of ScreenCloud and it surpassed my expectations. Shortly after, ScreenCloud Studio became available and I switched over. The Studio allows for complex scheduling, which is great. The dashboard is really intuitive and easy to use. There are ample tutorials that help me get the most out of the platform. And, there are so many apps available that I'm still finding new ones to implement.
The functionality of this software is so diverse. I chose the software to replace an in-house TV channel with significant cost savings. Along the way, I was able to convert paper corkboards into digital displays and am now working on a touch screen kiosk for our community. Our company had been looking at using three separate vendors to accomplish these projects. This software is easy to use and the more I use it, the more features I find.
ScreenCloud Studio is still new, and I switched over immediately so I've had a few hiccups, but the support team is extremely responsive.

happy with the product, could do better with pricing or maybe some waterfall pricing options available for more than 10 or 15 screens. (pricing tiers).support could be better, maybe a phone support line.
product is simple, easy to use, lots of compatible devices and apps, very flexible for multiple implementation options.
depending on the number of screens, it can get pricy and there isnt much of a waterfall for more screens.support is also a bit delayed, you wont get urgent critical support, in my experience you will get a response in a couple to a few hours.

ScreenCloud players are too expensive, and the yearly cost is high. Compared to other available platforms.The overall experience with using Amazon Firesticks 4K has been easy. Don't use older versions of Amazon Firesticks.
The ease of access and the UI is easy to understand.

Ease of use great support from the Screen cloud team runs on inexpensive hardware
Ease of use. I have tried others which really didn't work. This product is easy to use and gives great results. + the new apps look fab. On the occasion when I have contacted screen cloud they have been lovely to work with. Very helpful and they gave great recommendations. I couldn't be happier with the product and the support. If there were extra stars that I could give I would.
I work for a small charity and funds are always tight. So the cost is the only thing I could see as a negative. Saying this having tested other products the price is definitely worth it for this product.

I love this and I’m having so much fun with making the slides!! THANK YOU!
I had been searching and trying so many different ideas and would constantly ask other business how they put together the TV personal stuff in there lobby with no success on my own. I think it was finally the term digital signage that finally I was able to search with and found Screen Cloud. Within several hours I had a playlist and after purchasing the equipment for less than $50 I had it up and running! Everything I had been searching for and the kids love seeing their photos, activities and and even make slides with fun facts that they like to read.
I make all the slides in Canva then upload - so easy and I had already been using Canva. If there was a way to edit a slide when a mistake is made that would be heaven but it is still so easy to fix and reload.
