Pros

Not only is it affordable for a small agency like mine, who works with small businesses, but it's extremely powerful, and capable of executing any strategy my team or my clients require.
I love the ease of use, interface, but most importantly all of Sharpspring employees, and how quickly they respond with tips, ideas, and help with support.
This allows us to better understand and track our users and help determined the best platforms to promote our campaigns.

Pros

The customer service is OUTSTANDING and they are eager to assist with improvements and enhancements of the CRM. I am happy with this product and recommend it.
You will have nothing but positive feedback from this software, it is so useful, the email system, when you link it to your Outlook Calendar is amazing as well.
You do not have to hire a third party company to make all the changes so your sales team can and will use the CRM. Claritysoft is eager to help make your experience the best it can be.

Cons

The constant failure of the system, the automations fail. They are not fixing the bugs.
Their billing platform is absolutely ridiculous. They bill your clients directly, and not the agency using the platform saying that the client is the end user, not the agency managing the account.
We are now remarketing to leads that were missed during the initial buying cycle and reclaiming that lost revenue on top of increasing our close rate on new clients.

Cons

The only thing missing that I can think of is that there was no built in social media as a standard part of the platform.
We had employees refuse to use it because they were so frustrated.
Early on in our use of ClaritySoft, we had a problem that needed to be addressed.

The support is very responsive

Pros

Marketing automation can be a little difficult to wrap your head around if you have never used a software like this before. But Sharpspring made it relatively easy with their telco onboarding sessions and straight forward structure and user interface. I like that we can track where leads come from (organic, Google ads etc.) and create simple workflows to continue interacting with them. It let's you deep dive if you want but keeps things simple on the surface, I like that, no need to over-complicate things.

Cons

While Sharpspring has some built in CRM functionality chances are your company is using a different CRM system. Since CRM platforms are catching on and beginning to integrate marketing automation, eventually the question will be whether to go through the hassle of integrating Sharpspring into your CRM or use your CRM's built in system.

All in one solution to marketing ourselves through content publication. We no longer have to cobble together multiple platforms to reach our customers and potential customers. The visitor ID tool allows us to see exactly who's coming to our website - down to the name and title. Amazing.

Cons

The CRM side is talked up quite a bit from SharpSpring, but it's just an OK CRM. Integrations with Outlook and easier followup with contacts should be in future releases.

We've taken a completely disorganized mess of sales data and information and have been able to easily store it in one location. Until SharpSpring we didn't have a pipeline. Our opportunities and forecast existed only in a few people's heads... not a good place to store critically vital information required to grow our business.

Pros

The easy of use and support have been amazing. It was very easy to start with either marketing automation or CRM. We chose to start with CRM first. Setting up and using the CRM function took a few minutes and I use it every day, all day. It easily integrated with our Google business Apps and has made organizing our sales data seamless and simple.

Cons

Since our experience to date has been mostly in the CRM area we haven't pushed the system on the marketing automation side. However, the CRM function is easy and simple. With ease you sacrifice some capabilities found in other CRM specific apps. The OOTB sales and pipeline reports could be more robust. I have not explored any other reporting options which might exist.

SharpSpring listens to its clients and provides an easy to use CRM. When I have a question, they have the answer! I enjoy my CRM experience with SharpSpring.

Pros

SharpSpring is extremely user friendly. It allows for automation through the entire sales funnel. From its Social Media capabilities to its impactful email marketing feature, SharpSpring improves our productivity from management to rep usage!

Cons

In doing research, there was supposed to be an automatic integration with Qwilr. We have found that is not the case.

Making great progress with SharpSpring

I've used a couple of different Marketing Automation platforms in the past. Marketo briefly and Act-On for a couple of years. I switched to SharpSpring around 6 months ago when I set up my own marketing agency. Really happy with how its going. OK - its obvious that SharpSpring is a smaller company. I come across the occasional feature that could do with some refinement. But overall its fair to...

Pros

Ease of use, good templates, built in CRM (although you can integrate with 3rd party CRM if you need.) Cost saving compared to competing products - especially if you can dispense with a full-fat CRM like Salesforce which is bloated and over priced for SME market in my opinion.

Cons

Occasional glitches. Sometimes you have to refresh the page to see the result of a change that you have made. For example - the number of members in a list - can take a few minutes after saving the query to report a true number. But you soon learn to live with minor issues like this.

It's hard to find a better CRM for this price. It's got the tools of a major CRM with the service and attention to detail of a small one.

Pros

Their support team is amazing! They offer a really robust marketing automation tool as well. Easy enough to use that we have had no complaints throughout the company.

Cons

Once in a while I'll run into a bug. It's never anything major and support is really helpful if I ever run into anything.

We've replaced Pardot with SharpSpring and are happy with the results. The onboarding team has made the switch as painless as any major software switch could be.

Pros

Adaptable, excellent onboarding, great tracking features.

Cons

I wish the CRM was more robust. We currently have to sync with Salesforce for an extra monthly fee, but if SharpSpring's CRM allowed for more options and custom reporting, we'd be able to take Salesforce out of the equation.

I like some aspects of sharpspring but I would say there were more that I did not find useful than ones I did.

the contact management componet is a great tool to keep all your sales contacts in an easy to use database. Pictures and brief bio were helpful integrations.

Cons

the calendar and crm functions are completely lacking. It does not intergrate with outlook at all

Leaning in to internet marketing & automation like the "big boys"

Overall marketing automation on behalf of clients without a CRM - the CRM is included. Tech support not needed frequently, but when it is needed, it is fast, proactive, and solves problems.

Pros

The fairly steep learning curve was made relatively easy with help every step of the way. We took advantage of the onboarding process with SharpSpring by doing an hour+ session with an expert twice a week for better than a month. One of our senior developers, with years of experience using HubSpot, found SharpSpring every bit as robust AND more flexible. His experience, combined with pricing at under a third of HubSpot's model (and month-to-month vs. paid-up-front annually) made SharpSpring a "no-brainer" decision!

Cons

Visitor ID is still a bit primitive. SharpSpring is fairly candid about that. Still a great time-saver...but could be so much better!

Cons

Manipulating email templates is somewhat challenging at times. The learning curve is steep but they now supply better support.

Many Tools - One Flat Price​

Our election to use sharpspring was based on wide variety of tools in one for a nice flat rate as opposed to the way we had been used to living.....multiple pay per month/per user tools with only one function.

Pros

Again, multiple tools related to all aspects of email marketing, blogging, analytics, organic traffic, paid media, crm (pipeline management, sales revenue), customer intelligence, ​and others.

Cons

Like any platform, they could use advances with the mobile app or delivery or additional crm features.

I found it very comfortable to keep track of the clients before I even met them. Automatically it indicates to me at what point I am. I was able to create powerful automation rules to send dynamic content or specific emails

We implemented this to have a single version of the truth and enable sales reporting. The marketing functionality is making life easier across the business. As the tool is easy to use, other team members can send emails, rather than relying on marketing.

Pros

It combines CRM with marketing automation at a price point that is suitable for SMEs.

Cons

It can be a bit glitchy, although this is true of enterprise-grade marketing solutions as well. It also is less flexible in terms of customisation that other more expensive products, but new features/improvements are being added all the time.

Inexpensive, user friendly, has built in marketing and tickets, settings are easy to manage, and setup was easy.

Cons

Does not have automation or integrations for platforms we use like constant contact, social media, website management etc. You have to use Zapier, which I do no like to use. Even that option does not have the best workarounds.

Hi Heather thank you for your feedback. Clarity CRM's feature set is robust and thorough. But you are right, it doesn't do everything. However, the features we do offer consistently exceed the features offered by other CRM vendors at this price point. Additionally, by-and-large the features you mentioned don't tend to be offered by other CRM platforms at this value level. Clarity CRM is actually quite adept at integrating with other platforms and services. It is something we do on a regular basis for many of our customers with special requirements. Achieving the integration you want may be accomplished using Claritysoft's API technology. Contact our support department. They would be eager to explore integration options with you.

Customer data is safe and we know what, who and where.

Supported well with great, timely and knowledgeable customer service. Priced right for an easily customizable CRM. Gives us the peace of mind that our data is secure, yet accessible from any platform.

Pros

We needed a safe place to keep client data and be able to analyze data for sales decisions going forward. We tried another company and were just frustrated until we found Claritysoft. They have great customer service, and we have customized with ease. We were up and running in a matter of days. We feel confident that out data is safe and secure, yet available from any platform being used in our insurance sales process.

Cons

In the sale of insurance we receive commissions. We would like to be able to go into a contact, list the sale as placed and paid. Post the commission amount from a drop down list of sources. Amounts would vary.

My overall experience with Claritysoft has been excellent and I would recommend it!

Pros

Being able to setup tasks with times associated with them is great. Importing emails from Outlook is also a great, time-saving feature. Customer service is on it and very friendly. This CRM is easier to use than SalesForce.

Cons

When you are in the Contact field and especially in the Opportunity field, the system gets confused when you try and back out and will usually take you back to the search field. This workflow should be better. Also, it would be nice that if you put a note/attachment on a Contact or in an Opportunity, that it would show in the Account field versus having to click in to either the Contact or Opportunity to see it. This would really help in multiple project/account use cases.

Very convenient to keep track of what accounts need from day to day . Helps keep track of who I need to contact, the subject of conversation or content of emails, and when I need to reach out. Have some trouble navigating to add or delete some things that are displayed. Overall I believe it is a good program.

What I personally like most is the ease of use for the contact data, activity reporting, opportunities and calendar scheduling . Everyone with in our organization can easily maneuver the site, with out being a IT person.

The CRM is very helpful to our Sales team. It helps them track leads, account activities, reminders to contact prospects/customers, estimated sales, etc. The Claritysoft customer service and sales team are great to work with as well.

Very user friendly. Customer service is very helpful and always available to assist. Helps track sales, opportunities, follow-ups, etc. Easy

Cons

Training videos are not listed in an order that makes sense fora new user to follow. E-mails sent to customers are not shown as a "touch", so you can't always identify or run a report showing the last time you connected with a customer. Product dictionaries could use an upgrade so you can move items around easily.

A Good CRM Product for our Distributorship

We are a small business with about 6 active salespeople using the CRM for contact management, opportunity management, and sales management. As a Sales manager, it is easy for me to create reports and distribute activities to the sales reps. As the rep, it's easy to manage an activity list and opportunities.
