SharpSpring a Team of Experts

Reviewed 4 years ago

SharpSpring has a team of experts to assist with any challenge. Our agency had a unique challenge with one of our clients that involved compliance. This was a first for us, and we didn't know where to begin to fix the issue. We were so amazed at the level of support that was provided to assist us in navigating through the challenge. The level of expertise and professionalism was phenomenal. We are proud to be a part of the SharpSpring family.

Pros

The features are easy to use. There is assistance available for ever feature - step by step instructions. Particularly, I like the new features that are added continuously. This allows our agency to stay on top of the changes in the marketplace while offering the new features to our clients.

Cons

There is absolutely nothing that I don't like about the product.

Invaluable Sales Tool

As an agency we use SharpSpring not only for ourselves but also our clients. Love this software!

Reviewed 5 years ago

SharpSpring is a great "everything online marketing" tool. Everything that you need is right there in one dashboard. From making landing pages, emails, sending one-off emails, social media scheduling, sales pipelines and even CRM. The features and functionality are phenomenal. SharpSpring makes marketing automation easy by having layouts, training and customer support all at your fingertips.

Pros

The software has so many awesome features, including my fave, "Life of the Lead", where you can see all the actions a lead took from start to finish. The company is always improving and adding in new features which makes it a great value. It truly is a "complete sales & marketing platform" having everything from a sales pipeline, to scheduling social media posts, to your traditional email blast marketing.

Cons

Email and Landing Page editors can be tough to use, things don't go the way you would like to. In the Landing Page editor I feel sometimes it can be limited, luckily I have some knowledge of HTML coding. However, when running into issues using these editors, customer support is always there to help you and get your problem solved in a timely manner.

Worth every penny

Reviewed 5 years ago

So far this system is really allowing us to see a much clearer picture of the customer journey which in turn helps us to make it better. Really opened our eyes to our sales process

Pros

The program has lots of features and the team is continually working to improve the overall system. I really like how it tracks all activities done by the potential client and can customize the user experience by their engagement over time. The smart email feature is probably the most favorite feature of our employees because it makes dealing out information so easy.

Cons

It think it still needs some work on the social integration but it sounds like that is about to be released, so I am anxious to see. The email and web page builder takes some time getting use to.

Best Tech Support Ever

Reviewed 5 years ago

As an agency, we are glad to be able to offer automated marketing to our small business clients at an affordable price. Cleaning up our martech stack is also huge with the free license we have.

Pros

Tech Support is RIGHT there. Friendly, helpful, knowledgable, and responsive. Onboarding had a bigger learning curve than I anticipated...at least for me. Tech support made all the difference. Setting up workflows is super easy. Their approach to supporting agencies is HUGE. We attended a partner agency event and was impressed with the staff and the quality people using this software to help their clients be more successful.

Cons

Building email is a bit fussy at times. I learned after some frustration that my Grammerly app installed on Chrome was adding glitches. Adding contacts to the CRM is a bit tedious. Looking forward to updates that import contacts from emails (like Hubspot's).

Love using Sharp Spring

Reviewed 4 years ago
Pros

What we really like is the ease of use for building out landing pages, email blasts, and visitor tracking. I spend much of my time reviewing analytics, so creating a clean and easy to view user experience is something I personally enjoy about Sharp Spring

Cons

There are a few issues we've run across, mostly in the beginning with laying out the email templates. Sometimes they wouldn't save, or things wouldn't update. This created a few headaches. We also just submitted a to break out past tasks. Something the current platform doesn't do. The positive side of this is the representatives in the chat an call center is always really helpful for trying to solve these issues. Not all CRM companies have great customer services so this is a plus for Sharp Spring.

The Best All in One CRM Plateform!

Reviewed 3 years ago

the implementation of this CRM is really quick and easy. You can track all of your marketing strategies at the same place!

Pros

You can Track all visitors, Contacts, Opportunites, Account and track your campaign! All features at the same place! The support is really fast and really good.

Cons

The only little thing I like less (and I know SharpSpring is working to improve this) is the email campaigns. But I know that the team work on that!

Great Marketing Automation Software

Reviewed 5 years ago

Overall, we have had a fabulous experience with SharpSpring. We didn't feel the onboarding specialist role was very useful, only because they were never available for simple questions, we could always call support and get an answer faster than the onboarding specialist could get back to us.

Pros

SharpSpring is one of the first all-in-one solutions that really does do it all for our clients. Being able to have everything in one place makes our job as an advertising and marketing firm so much easier, as there is only one platform to use for all of our clients.

Cons

The landing page editor is definitely on the harder to use side, but the team is in the process of completely re-building it and will hopefully be more like the email editor going forward. The form builder is not WIZZYWIG at all, so coding experience is necessary to make good looking forms, but those are our only two main gripes at the moment.

A True Unicorn Product: The Best Features and the Lowest Cost

Reviewed 4 years ago

The sales team was very nice, the implementation team is nice, the customer service is FANTASTIC! If you have a problem they have online chat to quickly connect you with someone to help. Other expensive platforms require support tickets that can take days for a response.

Pros

I'm a 15-year agency veteran. I've purchased and used many marketing automation/CRM platforms ... Most of which cost several factors more. The email builder/designer is far above the "blue cloud" companies platform. Reporting is a breeze. Automation is drag and drop. The interface is very intuitive and easy to learn. SharpSpring compares to the most expensive platforms at a fraction of the price. I only wish I had discovered it much sooner.

Cons

The only con is with the landing page builder. It is still far above several platforms that cost more money but it is a little quirky if you haven't used it before. But, once you are familiar with the tool, you learn how to work around it, and overall it works pretty well. The ability to edit the page code makes it easy to get the outcome you want.

SharpSpring - An Underrated Marketing Automation Option

Reviewed 5 years ago

One positive change in SharpSpring is that they have offered more solutions to complex automation within the last couple of years. With these updates and improved complexity, we are able to help our clients achieve more of their goals when communicating with their accountholders. (We serve the financial industry.)

Pros

I love the ease of use, very user-friendly and organized.

Cons

They make a lot of changes without notifying us. We have an internal instructional guide that we send to our clients, and it is tough for us to keep them updated and communicate those changes to our clients in a timely manner.

Powerful and Affordable Marketing Automation Software

Reviewed 4 years ago

SharpSpring has helped us fully integrate all of our digital strategies in one place. It's allowed us to use one platform for web forms, email marketing, landing pages, ppc, social media, etc.

Pros

SharpSpring offers a powerful and feature-rich CRM and marketing automation solution that is available for a very affordable price compared to competing platforms. It's relatively easy to use and has a great support team that is quick to help with any issues. Email deliverability with SharpSpring has been better than any other platform due to its strict compliance department. They are constantly adding new features that add additional value. It's also nice that they only have one tier unlike other platforms that have tiered pricing models.

Cons

With all evolving platforms, there are occasional bugs. Support is very responsive though and helpful. The landing page editor could definitely be improved as well.

SharpSpring - Marketing Automation That Rocks!

Reviewed 9 years ago

Early in 2014 I received an email from SharpSpring that piqued my interest. I had been looking for a marketing automation tool that was easy-to-use, scalable, and frankly affordable. Very overpriced for performance

Reviewed 5 years ago

Disappointed. A huge waste of money. We switched to Active Campaign and really appreciate the email design, features that actually work and they provide a team to do your conversion to their product for you at no cost.

Pros

Customer Support. This is important because you will constantly need support trying to use this software. Very glitchy and overpriced.

Cons

Email templates are NOT user friendly. Must know HTML coding well to get them to work properly and look good on all devices. Social profile linking does not work. Constantly linked with incorrect social profiles. Generating emails took hours due to horrible designs. Email delivery reports were always glitchy and never provided correct data. The most expensive solution with the most limited and glitchy software. We switched to active campaign at the third of the cost and it works amazing!!

Vendor response

Hi, Kamela. We're so sorry to hear that you've had a less than wonderful experience with SharpSpring. We'd really appreciate the opportunity to make things right and collect further feedback on what we can do to be better in the future. Someone from our team will be reaching out to you soon. SharpSpring destroyed my database and support was nonexistent

My one stop perfect solution!

Reviewed 5 years ago

I am glad to have the sales tracking with the lead scoring and actually see who is looking at my online info, for how long, and how they interact. This really helps me determine where my salespeople should focus their efforts to drive revenue.

Pros

I was frustrated when I had a bunch of apps that I had to jump back and forth all the time in order to do my daily tasks. I think I had 8 apps that I was paying for which got expensive, especially since everything was disjointed. When I heard about SharpSpring, and they did a demo for me, the bells went off in my head and I knew that I had to have it. I especially like the Virtual workflow section that allows me to design my funnels and create them in one integrated place. From landing page design to email templates and especially the Perfect Audience that I use for retargeting, it is a very robust platform.

Cons

There isn't much I don't like about the platform, although It was a bit difficult in the beginning to grasp the entire scope of everything it could do. In my case, I had trouble relating the Virtual Classroom videos, but that went away when I got to work hands-on on an application and started to do the tasks. I think I really got into it and started to comprehend when I did an individual one on one meeting. The support was really great!

Great software for an extremely reasonable price

Reviewed 3 years ago

Amazing marketing tool, amazing price, and would highly recommend to any business to business sales team.

Pros

I love the great e-mail marketing campaigns, show the statistical analysis of the conversions through each campaign, and find what clients are clicking, viewing, and making them convert. We also can achieve this through using their media import section for when we add in video testimonials, client reviews, and any visual data to get a potential client hooked.

Cons

I'm not a massive fan of the CRM. The tasks aren't great, you don't get to see the e-mails that you sent if they are not a "smart mail" that has been pre made. Logging calls and tracking them in the system seems impossible as well. But for the benefits of the marketing, and for the price, its suitable enough. Just expect frustrations with the CRM side.

Reluctant SharpSpring Fan

Reviewed 5 years ago

We have run successful campaigns for ourselves and our clients. Increasing track to our website leading to sales conversions.

Pros

I like that I can keep my contacts and marketing automation in one place. Using the Pipeline I can keep track of our ROI, and that of all of our partners. We know right away if a campaign is working, or if we need to tweak things to make it more effective.

Cons

Getting used to the interface and all the tools available took more time than I was expecting. They are often upgrading the platforms, which is good, but makes it difficult to make an on boarding process for clients. Things are constantly changing.

Great choice for small business

Reviewed 5 years ago

Our experience has been good, so far the tool has served us satisfactorily, although the onboarding process has not been easy. But we adapt well and fast.

Pros

If you have a small business or are starting out with a digital marketing strategy, this is definitely the best choice. With the best cost-benefit on the market, this tool has all the features you need to quickly achieve results. What I like most about the tool is the ability to customize the emails according to the personas. The integration of marketing and sales actions is also very interesting and works well.

Cons

I rate the tool's usability as bad, lots of buttons that do the same thing, and lots of unstructured information on the screen. A good report generator is missing and some automations will not allow you to reach the Sales Opportunity level. If you have data from another tool, you'll find it difficult to import campaign, email, sales history, and product information. (Be careful, plan your steps well.)

Sharpspring — The Tool for Your Marketing Automation

Reviewed 5 years ago

Overall, Sharpspring is a phenomenal tool for our team and we've been using it since 2015. We are excited to better integrate the software into our organization.

Pros

I like the ease of use and functionality. The interface is quite easy to use and the software overall is a powerful software that does not break the bank! Sorry if that's too many things, but I'll add another. Every time I've been on the horn with their support team, I've received attention and strong feedback. And expertise.

Cons

They are continually adding to their software and the new features sometimes take time to learn and effectively utilize/sell to clients. One issue we've had is some of the Action Groups / Visual Workflows require custom manual efforts to get to function correctly, but once set up, they run well.

Great value for the money, but not without flaws

Reviewed 6 years ago

They're really responsive and their support team is quick and helpful. We have a dedicated success rep, which is very helpful too. It's pretty standard protocol for us to onboard new clients onto Sharpspring, but we use it more as an agency tool than a fully integrated sales/marketing tool.

Pros

The value for what you're getting is going to be hard to find elsewhere. They do a great job of email workflows, integration and tracking of various strategies and campaigns, and getting a quick view of the path of the lead. Plus, their model is well suited for agencies.

Cons

It's no secret that their email builder is not the best. You can make it work, but it often takes more work to get them looking the way you want them than with other email builders. To their credit, they do try to improve them over time, but what is assumed simple on other email builders is a workaround solution on this one. That being said, the annoyance of the email builder has yet to outweigh the value the software brings in other areas, so it's an annoyance that can be put up with or worked around.
