Used for social scheduling, social analytics, reporting and overall management.

Pros

I have used a few different social media scheduling tools and have found that I really like Sprout Social.

Cons

The big con is it is much more expensive compared with other tools on the market. I am interested in see more value comparison for such a price difference.

Pros

Sprout social helps plan your content themes, it helps to see a larger view and allows you to track engagement and provides analysis reports.

Sprout Social has been a true time saver with handling multiple accounts and brands.

Pros

As an organization that manages 7+ attractions and over 20+ accounts, the ability to filter hashtags, geolocations etc in one location has helped with saving time and ease of scheduling to multiple accounts and most importantly reporting analytics to the management team.

Cons

It would be great to see an integration (example: CrowdRiff) that allows to interact with user generated content through brand keywords or geolocation to re-share on our social platforms with the ability to send mass messaging for permission.

Sprout gives a full social picture

Sprout is a great social media tool for analytics, engagement, reporting and management.

Pros

I love all the detail that Sprout allows you to get into with social analytics.

Cons

I just wish it was more affordable. I've now done free trials at two separate companies that have both deemed it too expensive.

Sprout Social is arguably the most intuitive dashboard for social media monitoring.

Sprout Social offers social media scheduling functionality, including timing, drafts, responses, canned response, retweeting, etc., for multiple platforms and multiple accounts.

Cons

I don't always trust Sprout Social's analytics, which sometimes differ from Facebook's and Twitter's internal analytics reporting.

Simple SM manager with superior Analytics feature

I’ve used/currently use Hootsuite, Buffer, Swift Social, Kontentino, and many other social media managers, so I had a lot to compare Sprout social with.

Pros

The Digital Asset Library The Analytics feature The RSS feature can serve as a social media content generation tool.

Cons

MavSocial has a better Asset Library feature, SMHack provides just as detailed analytics, Swift social has powerful RSS feature, and Hootsuite is cheaper, has an automatic scheduling function, as well as one of the easiest SM Managers to use due to the numerous tutorials online and it's inbuilt mini-tutorial.

Being able to see how a post or campaign has performed at a glance is really quite handy.

My only real complaint about Sprout is the per-user price, but if your team only has a single social manager it is well worth the cost.
