What users say

The Salesforce Sync works and is easy to set-up. The CSM support is great, and the pricepoint is accessible.
It's simple to use and the ads run on a CPC basis (vs. Impressions) which is nice. Given that display is primarily about awareness driving, the cost to run campaigns is fairly low.

Sigstr is Awesome!

Reviewed 6 years ago

Overall, it is a pretty good up and coming tool with a user-friendly interface. It still has areas of growth and improvement, but it adds value internally and externally for a decent price.

Pros

The signature we have with Sigstr is definitely better than the previous “everyone create their own”. We look more uniform now and the addition of our pictures helps the recipient feel more comfortable with a face to the name. Signatures can be assigned to different groups within the company and the fields in the signature can also be company fields or individual fields. So if you want the Sales Team...

Cons

I will say in setting up our signatures, we had a few bugs (which Sigstr quickly resolved) and coding set backs because I cannot code (coding is only required the fancier your signature gets). But once your signature is done, you don’t need any more coding. Also, someone who doesn’t have Photoshop or Bannersnack skills, might have trouble designing/updating the banners frequently. However, Sigstr is adding an in-platform banner creation option sometime in the future.

Consistent Email Signatures Across the Company. Finally!

Reviewed 5 years ago

With rapid organic growth and growth through acquisition we found that employees had a variety of corporate email signatures or didn't have one at all. To uphold our value of being easy to access and get in touch with we wanted to make sure that every email our team sent included their contact information.

Pros

Sigstr was so easy to implement across the entire company. Especially those using Google Mail products.

Cons

Sigstr has a number of marketing functions, but we haven't gone beyond the basics of using it for email signature consistency across the company.

Ideal and Low Cost ABM Tool

Reviewed 3 years ago

When you consider the number of emails your organization sends out on a daily basis, it represents a massive and often untapped opportunity to connect to customers and prospects. Also, typically most, if not all, one-to-one emails sent from sales associates to customers will be opened. This provides a benefit over a traditional email marketing campaign which will only see a 15-20% open rate. Also, since we have an ecom component to our business, we were able to add a "Buy Now" to our SIGSTR banners and link them directly to product pages on our B2B ecom site. Paired with Google Analytics, this let us understand the SIGSTR click-thru's that resulted in purchases. In turn, this allowed us to quickly demonstrate a clear and unquestionable ROI.

Pros

The solution makes it very easy to centrally manage and target marketing messages for the entire business. It integrates with CRM (Hubspot for our biz) so you can trigger a message based on any CRM field, e.g. send one message to customers our Southeast vs West Coast, send a different message to small vs large customer, etc. or with ABM strategy you can target customized messaging for specific accounts. It can also be used to specifically message employees in your organization, e.g. to promote upcoming benefits enrollment for example. Finally, SIGSTR offers valuable metrics to see who is seeing your message and who is clicking through.

Cons

One issue is that if customers do not have their local email client configured to auto-download images, the SIGSTR banner may not show but this would be the case with any email sig solution.

Get value from email signatures

Reviewed 5 years ago

Overall our experience has been positive. We have had some technical glitches, but they have always been responsive and helpful.

Pros

I really love that you can leverage a typically unused space pretty easily. You can run ABM programs, sender-based programs, and employee programs to help promote anything to a targeted audience. Sigstr makes this very easy and they are really great to work with.

Cons

Sometimes the set up process for a new campaign can be a bit wonky and you have to make sure that the signatures don't get squished when rolling to a new image.

Necessary software for any ABM program but still needs some refining

Reviewed 6 years ago

We're getting engagement from and warming up accounts in our ABM pipeline before outreach to contacts within those accounts. Driving more brand awareness too, that's been huge for us!

Pros

Simple to use and easy to get up and running Product features are getting better and better (site id, LinkedIn integration, etc.) Customer Service is awesome and really responsive You can turn off a specific account from getting ads served to them. Really powerful when trying to allocate a specific spend to an account. How targeted you can set up campaigns and tactics is powerful in ABM Value brought to our business is amazing! We're getting huge companies engaging with our ads, which helps Marketing get buy-in from leadership on ABM and display ads as a piece of our ABM playbook.

Cons

Reporting is minimal and I feel as if it's an afterthought for the product The Interface is too simplified and hard to interpret the graphs on the dashboard without hovering Data getting imported into your dashboard is inconsistently delivered. Sometimes it's 24 hours, other times I wait three days before the data comes in or I find myself contacting my CSM to ask why it's not importing. Limited to...

Intriguing Product with Exciting Potential

Reviewed 5 years ago

Response times and expertise are exceptional. The Sigstr team is always thinking ahead. We haven't cracked tracking the ROI yet, but we're convinced of the value.

Pros

Sigstr is a powerful tool with potential to pick-up interactions (internal and external) though the endless flow of email. The banners provide a creative canvas to catch the attention of a weary email recipient and drive engagement. The total amount of impressions and interactions has been surprising. As with any tool, it has to be managed to keep content fresh and exiting, but people notice and ask me about my signature. (For some reason, they seem to ask me more about my signature that the content of my emails, but that’s another matter.) Matched with creative content, tracking links, and active management, Sigstr represents a cost-effective tool to supplement any marketing program.

Cons

It has to be managed! Of course, every tool does, and we're learning more and more about Sigstr's support capabilities.

Very strong external AND internal marketing tool

Reviewed 6 years ago

Brand-unification, added style to emails, and boost in Marketing and Sales. It's every bit of an advantage if utilized correctly.

Pros

You're adding a channel to reach everyone you do business with. It's direct, but also subtle. It's fun and creative, but also cuts to the chase for business purpose. If I started my own company or even changed jobs, I'd be sure to have Sigstr in my toolkit.

Cons

Adoption was a little difficult. Most of the problem is that it's a little difficult to have internal 100% buy-in because signatures are so personal. It was a small hurdle, but after some time, people see massive value, get leads, and get excited about new campaigns.

Pros

Simple to use and to setup. Not an expensive piece to the marketing stack but something that gives you complete control over messaging across various departments. Can have a major impact if you use all the features and deploy it properly.

Cons

Sometimes support can be a little hit or miss, but they are growing so I expect that to get a lot better.

A great solution for teams.

Reviewed 5 years ago

This is a value add for our marketing and demand gen campaigns. Varied engagement but always another place to set a message and to further engagement with prospects and current customers.

Pros

I love the ability to change and control company email signatures at a global level from one department. The ability to also create specific email signatures based on the contact that you are reaching out to is ideal in order to place meaningful content or a value-add link to each email.

Cons

The initial implementation was a bit slower than I had hoped and the designer did not get a lot of support in terms of best design practices. The strategy around the solution could be better laid out to support faster adoption and best practices.

Pros

Sigstr solves the universal problem of centrally managing signature lines with an elegant solution. We are seeing great engagement from prospects and clients clicking on our signature lines. The cost to value is fantastic. Total no-brainer for anyone who uses email signature.

Great tool for email signature marketing

Reviewed 5 years ago

Overall, we have been thrilled with Sigstr. The team is wonderful to work with, the tool is excellent and a great value.

Pros

Once it's in place, the simplicity of management and ease of leveraging email signatures as a marketing vehicle is phenomenal.

Cons

Implementation was challenging - we had a number of bugs and obstacles to overcome. This may have been in part to the lack of engagement from our IT team, but not entirely.

Easy to Use

Reviewed 6 years ago

Sigstr is really helpful when it comes to awareness campaigns. Letting customers and prospects start demos, read guides, register for webinars, etc.

Pros

It's super easy to use and our rep is amazing. I love getting emails from our rep on best practices, use cases, etc. It helps give us ideas for how others in the industry are using and finding value from the platform.

Cons

It's still difficult to prove the ROI. I think it's a really nice to have, but maybe not yet necessary for our organization in particular. There's a lot of planning and strategy that should go into using Sigstr and we haven't yet taken the time to map that out.

Terminus gives us another weapon in our arsenal

Reviewed 5 years ago

Terminus has been a good partner, both the software and team, in our quest to expand awareness and sales.

Pros

Terminus quickly helps us gain more awareness with a targeted group of prospects that we select, no complicated processes and no wasting money on showing banners to the wrong people. We did A/B test and were able to justify the costs and see good results for our team.

Cons

It took us a little bit of time to fully onboard, integrate and understand how we could maximize our value.

Awesome way to control and manage signature lines across your company

Reviewed 6 years ago
Pros

It's super easy to keep signature lines up to date with promotions, events and such across your entire company. No need to ask every individual to make these updates on their own.

Cons

The pricing is a bit hard when you have a large team and you need to pay per individual to have this added to their signature.

Simple, easy to use for Target Account Ad Serving - Not Full ABM Platform

Reviewed 4 years ago

Good experience for ad serving - would not consider them a full ABM platform, but if you are looking to drive awareness with accounts and target specific persona's within a company, it's a solid choice.

Pros

Getting started on terminus is very easy. It's simple to use and the ads run on a CPC basis (vs. Impressions) which is nice. Given that display is primarily about awareness driving, the cost to run campaigns is fairly low.

Cons

We tried to use some of the functionality to track website traffic and understand companies hitting out site, but that data wasn't very clean and was hard to make actionable.

Did not meet our needs

Reviewed 6 years ago
Pros

They do a good job marketing the solution and sharing info, demos, videos etc. Cheap because you will have to do all the implementation yourself

Cons

Too much hype with ABM and what this solution can achieve, especially by the Terminus sales rep. The ROI did not justify us continuing with this solution. Current standard marketing practices with solid content is a better way IMHO. We stripped the solution out and are going old school, which still works.

Not good enough for its claims

Reviewed 6 years ago

Not much but liked the sales process. Also think being self service is easier to use than competitive products. Would not recommend unless you are already leveraging ABM for your business.

Pros

1) The sales process for terminus is great. they invest a lot in webinars and content which actually creates a lot of pull. 2) it is a self-service product which saves money which might go into onboarding

Cons

1) Claims made prior to signing up were highly inflated. 2) We didnot realize much value from hyper-targeting as much as we were when we used traditional marketing with good content. 3) do not invest in it unless you are sold on ABM for life. This will not work if you are trying ABM

Does not live up to the hype

Reviewed 6 years ago
Pros

Terminus has a great process when it comes to sales. It is clear they have invested extensively in content and webinars. Cons: 1) Claims made prior to signing up were highly inflated. 2) We didnot realize much value from hyper-targeting as much as we were when we used traditional marketing with good content. 3) do not invest in it unless you are sold on ABM for life. This will not work if you are trying ABM

Cons

The claims prior to signing up were over inflated and the product just did not deliver. Hyper targeting was no where near as effective as our traditional marketing.
