I like that Widen is an easy way to find assets. It is helpful for a large company--because everyone knows where to find the assets that they need.
Widen is a very useful asset to our team. It has room for improvement, but overall it helps us accomplish our tasks and has rarely failed.
Assets are served up quickly around the world and it is a very stable platform. When technical issues do arise, they are very communicative about their progress of solving the issue.
Pros
Good customisability of the product. Customer service was great, fast responses - [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN], in particular, was very helpful.
But [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] did an amazing job in testing our integration. After this test was completed successfully, the trial period was renewed so we could benefit from a full free trial.
Support is always so good, really easy with the online chat, i spoke to [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] today and she resolved my issue and made some suggestions which were so helpful.
Cons
I think the one thing that I struggle with was the update on how to upload images.
I miss, on the file type filter, the option to filter by GIF.
Hard to do advanced searching with filters—they work in kind of a frustrating way that's hard to explain succinctly.
Cons
The emails are a little clunky to edit and I had a little trouble finding the setting that controlled how frequently people received reminder emails, and a few clients got irritated by that.
A little confusing to use. Lots of things simple, but it's a bit overwhelming at first.
I have no major issues with the service or software.
