Pros

The webinars and support areas offered are always helpful as well. Lastly, I personally enjoy the humor of the Aplos team; and the occasional contests/prizes are fun, too.
What I love about the product is that it is easy for us who are new to accounting to use, but also robust enough that our treasure (CPA) is able to use it in more complex ways.
Aplos accounting is great for non-profits like mine trying to navigate basic accounting information. Great interface and reports are typically what you're looking for.

Pros

This was an amazing investment into our program. It is incredibly user friendly and easy to transition to from the old system.
Includes texting to volunteers; easy to send texts and emails for very reasonable price and a good number of features. Fairly responsive customer service.
Their customer support is hands down their best feature. They also did a lot of work to make the platform work for our organizations needs.

Cons

Ongoing problems, month after month, in many areas. Then the response time to get problems resolved is unacceptable and you are stuck in their hands until it works in their schedule.
I lost data at least a couple of times trying to look up accounts while entering a Receipt because I wasn't warned that navigating away from the receipt would delete my entry.
Our biggest complaint has been in the area of reporting. It is difficult to get the report info needed for our accountants.

Cons

It was difficult for me to set up in the way that I needed and there were so many weird bugs that were alarming.
Sometimes parents have a hard time using the app. They get confused on whether they have to pay for an account or can become members on our team.
A non-profit that I'm advising was having trouble keeping track of all their volunteers and "who was doing what and when.
