I like that it has many capabilities, and you are able to add products on to it.
I wish that it was a bit more intuitive- it seems like there is a lot of hunting and pecking to find what you are looking for.

I like that there are so many ready available classes for every area of this program, and there are so many different things that can be done within the program.
So far, I haven't had any issues with Financial Edge.

The unified database between FE and EE, and all of the submodules, is vital to our operation. The unified SIS is a strong point.
There are some processes that are a bit complex and could be simplified.

All of the products are excellent across the board and integrate well with other Blackbaud software products.
I would like to see more availability for web functions for local services on our server.

Sometimes, the updates mess up small items. It may be minor, but it's just annoying.

Very complex. Requires in house tech support to maximize utilization. Frequent hosting problems. High service cost/fees for using features.
My rep has been excellent in support. We appreciate his honest and timely replys. Software when structured is efficient.

Good option for RE users
Easier to navigate, and smoother than traditional FE program. Available on the go, and not locked to a system
Not the easiest to learn, but this is more a function of Financial Edge overall, and not exclusive to NXT
