To communicate with other users over clients; to see if clients have abused the system and why and what the need is that has been met. It helps me make a decision based on need rather than want.
To be able to see for myself if someone has been helped multiple times and how often. We have many repeats that have already been to other agencies. Also to see why they needed help and if they are habitual clients and who helped them so I can call if there are any alerts.

We refer to Charity Tracker each time we have an assistance. We check on the frequency of the visits & the help in which we provide so we will know how to help.
We are at liberty to put what has been done & said with the client and we can keep it to our Agency only if we need too. Very private in that aspect.
There were some reports we couldn't get, but now we can. (That was a con but now is not!) Honestly I can't think of another. Thank you for such a great software!

The software my network formerly used was outdated and we no longer had an affiliation with the network administrator. This made any needed changes or updates impossible. It finally was determined that the current site was unsecured and several of our agencies could no longer gain access to it. Subscribing to Charity Tracker has solved all these problems and opened our network up to possibilities that we really didn't know existed. We are benefiting from the online tutorials, which made the switch to a new software system less daunting. As the network administrator, I have not had to travel to the different locations to train users. They have all been able to learn from the online tutorials.
The thing I like most about this software is how easy it has made network membership management. As the network manager, this software allows me to address the needs of every agency in our network quickly and efficiently. I don't have to depend on a support team to make changes, I can do it myself. But when I have needed customer support, they have responded immediately.
The thing I like least about this software would be the individual agency out of pocket expense. Having multiple users on an account is pricey.

Don't need to use hard copies of written notes anymore. Very easy to navigate and finding clients when they call to see what was last written up.
User friendly and ease in creating reports. Really like the photo ID feature on the general info page for each client.
Sometimes losing an assistance record you just wrote up before saving and no way to retrieve it. Not even by hitting the back button. Would like to be able to search all assistance records by using a single keyword.

Able to keep track of our clients and information easier and can run the reports that I need.
Easy to use and do reports, easy for our volunteers to use and keeps track of what we need. The fact that it can be used with other agencies if you want to share information.
really can't complain except a couple of reports have been custom but have been done very quickly, because it is on the internet can be very slow at time and occasionally has gone down.

Charity Tracker works best in a network or area where there are multiple users. Being able to see assistance given to those in need in the community by other community resources is a great asset as we try and best serve those who come to our church.
While Charity Tracker has some great features, it would be great to also see a history of address/phone changes etc. That can help gauge the stability of the client.

That we can see where clients are receiving duplicated services. We can see all members in the same household. We can see how we have helped the client in past visits to see if they are becoming more responsible.
Inaccurate totals. Not all agencies put their information in on a daily basis. That you are charged extra if more than one person uses Charity Tracker in your agency. It should be one set price for the whole agency.

It keeps us internally organized and keeps us externally connected to the other agencies that choose to use this system.
The ability to tweek it for our usage has been very good as we focus on meals given to our clients versus "bags" or "boxes of food.
It does take a long time to enter a large family into the program and while we a receptionist that does that, it is the case manager that must put in assistance for each person helped and that can slow the process.

The addition of the referral tab in assistance streamlines the process of communication between local charities. Charity Tracker in general allows us to help those who really need our help in the most efficient ways possible.
The alerts on one person's account do not show up on other members of the family. Perhaps adding a function that would allow those alerts to apply to all members of the household could remedy this.

The ability to manage our assistance given to those in need. Alerts are extremely valuable as well as notes.
Ease of use, reporting options, and excellent performance. The system is rarely unavailable. When there are problems, we receive communications promptly.
Would like to see more enhanced reporting options. When the system recognizes a case as a potential duplicate, it would be better if it would take the whole SSN to verify versus the last 4 of the SSN.

I highly recommend CT for any community groups. We are a food bank and emergency assistance program and are connected with the other benevolence programs in our community through CT. Its easy to use, easy to train folks on and easy run reports.
I like how easy it is to run reports on a variety of needs.
Sometimes the search is not accurate, which then leads to duplication

This software makes completing my monthly stats report much easier.
I appreciate the discussion boards that various organizations can use to post questions or updates. The option to leave notes on the transaction is also helpful when determining eligibility for aid. We utilize Charity Tracker to help us with our monthly stats report. Charity Tracker makes the whole process quite a bit easier! I also like that the system has a safe guard that keeps individual cases from being duplicated.
I am still on a trial basis with Charity Tracker. I was able to call the office a couple of weeks ago and have my trial extended. I recently tried to email the office, and was not able to . This is the only inconvenience I have found while using this software.

It has moved us into the 21st century. No more digging through paper records, all of our client information is there easy to search. Plus the reports for budget season is our bread and butter.
where to start... I appreciate that it is set-up for our field of work. It is adaptable to our specific programs and processes Running reports has been a breeze Easy to learn and navigate
I really don't see any cons with the program. I do wish that multiple staff can use it under one license as we have interns and no funds to cover them.

Ease of use and comprehensive information being shared between agencies.
It was easy to learn and assimilate into our system of record keeping. The upgrades have been very useful as more ROI information is becoming available. We have found the 'help' site to be very good for us if we had problems.
The loss of paper ROI has been OK but I used the time to get the client's information to enable us to invite them to our facilities.

It has been of great daily use for myself being able to track the assistance provided to our clients not only through our organization but by others, mostly when it has helped to partner with others to meet our clients needs.
The ability to keep up to date the assistance provided to our clients and is truly helpful to do proper case management according to their specific needs.

It allows us to track our client base.
I like the amount of information it keeps for each individual case. We can include so many details to track case information for our clients. This allows us to cross reference cases and determine needs easier.
We haven't yet gotten the ability to filter out search requirements. We would like to be able to use certain data for reports; however, we haven't been able to narrow down the parameters yet.

We can track the food pantry clients information in one on-line place. This is much better than the paper filing system we had been using before we got this system. The help desk has always been very helpful in trouble shooting any problem. They are great!
It actually helps to ensure that our clients are only coming to the food pantry one time a month. And it is easy to use for any volunteer who runs it.
It is not very easy when it comes to making or running reports. We are unable to ask name, DOB of family members and this messes up our family count. However we have figured out a way around it, although it is cumbersome.

one very good benefit is that staff does not have to get a file to locate a case note because it's all there in Charity Tracker
Ability to pull Charity Tracker up and document while speaking with a client and not worry about the system crashing.
So far I have no complaints Charity Tracker has been great for our company

What I like most about this software is that it is very easy to use. In addition, I like the ability to pull reports as well as track each client.
It is difficult at times to remove someone from a household if you aren't familiar with the software. Also, a lot of duplicates are made easily. If there could be a way to flag a client when two entries look similar that would be great.

We like Charity Tracker. Smetimes clients come in indicating they are a new client, when they are repeat clients under a different name. With the SSN search, we know if they have been here before.
We are a food pantry helping others in need. With Charity Tracker, we can see how often clients are receiveng help form other agencies.
We experienced slow response time. It would be helpful if month end reports were available.

Charity Tracker has been extremely helpful in keeping communications between our partner agencies and sharing of info between us without picking up the phone.
The ease and assesibility when issues arise.
There really isn't anything I dislike other than sometimes it can be slow between screens.

We are able to pull reporting with ease. With grant writing this is a great plus. Also, just the daily experience of entering client information and looking up their assistance while meeting with them is efficient.
The speed and ease of use is what I like most about Charity Tracker.
Merging files, as we have clients that move frequently, so we have to use the feature often.

I really enjoyed using this software, and would recommend it to anyone to use. It does take a little time to use, but it is an easy software to work with.
Running reports, and being able to navigate through it easily. Anyone could use this even first time users.
Alittle time consuming when it comes to adding information and getting what service was provided. Was not able to access it anywhere, just on the computer in which it was assigned to.

It helps us to weed out fraud and better assist the poor in need. It also identifies chronic poverty for follow up.
The easily accessed shared data base with other churches and agencies allows us to be better stewards of the funds allotted to us to assist the poor.
If there is a duplicate client, I have to notify someone else to combine them rather than being able to combine them myself. Misspelling a name can lead to duplications.

So easy to use and to train older volunteers to use it. You can add all family members including their SSN's which can help ID when 2 or more families are trying to claim children. I retired from my organization on June 30, 2017 and no longer use it. But I highly recommend it!
Can't think of a negative item concerning this piece of software. I will say the Reports feature was somewhat difficult to use.
