Charity Tracker has helped us connect as a community in a way that we were never able to before. It allows us to offer a more holistic approach to serving our community. We are changing the question from "how can we help you?" to "How can we help you not be reliant on our services?".
I would like to have saved report formats. Finding the right parameters to get the data I want is a little tricky.

We have been able to get several report we were not able to capture before. We can tell how may registered, we are insured or not insured etc. Over all it has helped with our monthly reports.
I like most the search. I was easy to search with only entering a few letters and was able to search with adding phone number
Calculating the percentage by people in the household verses 1 person. It made incorrect poverty guideline totals

Very easy tracking of aid given to clients.
For organizations with less computer savvy members, Charity Tracker is great because the features are straight forward. The graphics are easy to see and navigate.
I would like to see a few more available reports made available on Charity Tracker. These might include breakdowns of help given to individuals broken down by category, zip code or other demographic.

I like that you're able to post information so that other organizations can view and know. It allows you to communicate with others, and help our clients to our capacity. It's also a good way to send communication about community events. No complaints! I love using charity tracker. I hope that other counties adopt this great way of communicating throughout their communities!

That all agencies can stop duplication of services. Clients can sometimes hit multiple agencies within the same county requesting services. This is an awesome software to see which agency helped him and with how much.
Reports. The reports are too cumbersome. I have yet to get the results that I was needing in a report. I would like for the software to be more user friendly when needing reports for the agency.

Helps me coordinate how often we help someone and how much we have contributed in the past.
Availablility of information from other churches. Helps us coordinate needs and help and allows us to pinpoint anyone who is scamming the community.
If you write an alert on one member of the family, it does not show up for everyone. I usually copy the alert to everyone in the family so that it is not missed when I look someone up.

We are able to see when we last helped the clients and what services we have helped with.
I like that I am able to keep track of my clients and what services we have provided in the past to the clients.
There really isn't anything that I don't like about the software itself, my issue is that more people don't use it so it makes it difficult to see what kind of help other agencies are assisting the clients with.

With Charity Tracker we can find where other agencies have assisted client with anything. In being able to do this it reduces clients ability to go to other agencies for the same assistance that could potentially take away from another client in need.
This is a great tool to resource with other agencies within your community to help assistance go further.
I don't have any complaints at this time. Seems to work fine for what we use it for.

Easy to navigate through. Even without training, anyone can easily find their way to all the information that they need. I also love that they are always willing to offer additional training seminars and are continually looking for ways to improve. I really don't have anything negative to say. Any questions or issues I have are easily addressed with a quick phone call or Email.

It is a great help for us to keep track of the limited amount of funds we have. We try our best to be good stewards of what little help we can offer, so to ensure we are able to choose those who are in need of a help up and not a hand out, is of great use to us.
I like that we're able to track people who might be habitual abusers of the systems in place. It also allows us to come together for the greater good for those who are truly in need and require additional assistance that others may not be able to do at the time. Finally, I enjoy that we can track each others policies so that we can provide the best infromation to those seeking assistance.
Sometimes it's hard to find a way to adjust what we can offer to the community. Our group only include those just within the metro area and since we're near the boarders of Kansas and Okalhoma it would be nice to have knowledge of what they're offering those in need to keep things on track.

ease of use ,by far the best software for tracking clients and preventing assistance fraud.its fast and efficient.the reports are nice as well for end of month or quarter.helps to prepare for audits and great for accountability.
it would be nice to have a share button to send to an email for agencies who do not belong to tracker because of budget problems.

The amount of info we are allowed to track on each house hold, does help us tremendously.. and the fact that we are able to write notes, individually.
The fact that it allows cases to be duplicated instead of it catching it before hand. As it works be nice if the software to detect some sort similarity on putting in a case asked connecting to another just to verify and make sure that it's not duplicated

It retains information that can be called up, as needed. In addition, it's user friendly and the reports about our organization are easily accessed. Recently, our server crashed and we lost tons of data. I have been able to refer to Charity Tracker, as it has stored all of the information we need about our financial assistance program. It has served as a great back up.

We are able to check to see where clients have been previously to insure quality services and not duplication of services.
User friendly. You are able to find clients with ease and also eliminate duplicate entries. I also like the search feature where you can even search by phone numbers
I wish the information was easier to download into a MsExcel worksheet, and also track funds available.

We are easily able to track the last time guests came in as well as what addresses they are coming from, which is the most important thing for us. It works for what we need it for which is why we continue to use it :)
It is overall simple to use and organizes the information in a way that makes sense when you need to go back to it.
It feels a bit dated, but I can't say in what ways it needs to be updated either.

The search navigation is very easy to use, as well as the ability to input new information. I also like the option to click what type of assistance was given.
I don't like that there isn't an app to install on a smart phone . I think with the technology used in todays world and people constantly having their smart phones with them, there needs to be a Charity tracker app

It is quite comprehensive with the records our business needs to keep. It maintains confidentiality and discretion, but accountability as well.
Occasionally the "Search" function does not produce the results I need. I think it has to do with the use or non use of middle name. And of course, it could always be user error on my part.

We like the ease of data entry. We put all our case notes in assistance so that we can later run reports. We like that the system searches for the name even if the person is a relationship on another case.
We still can not figure out how to run the reports we want. Even our system CLASS administrator is unclear. We would love a person from charity tracker to just set it up for us.

It has already paid for itself by helping us to weed out people who are gaming the system. It helps us to track the food and money we have given out so that we can give accurate reports to the church congregation and church elders.
The best part about Charity Tracker is that it encourages communication and cooperation between charities. Sharing information allows us to share resources and to serve our community the best we can. It also helps us to tell the difference between those who might be "gaming the system" and those who really need help. I estimate that it has already paid for itself by helping us to direct money and food to where it is needed most.
I wish it was easier to flag or mark duplicate accounts (created by user error) to have them merged.

The benefit of keeping track of client services to prevent duplicated Assistance's and be able to serve more of the community.
I am a partnering agency with United Way Galveston County Mainland and out Executive director gets this for the agencies to track client charity to help make sure no client can get duplicate service for the same assistance. We can log in and monitor how much help they have received. Charity tracker is Easy to track clients assistance received, how many times as by whom. As well as many other things. It makes our job work more efficiently to serve the Galveston county area.
Charity tracker Sonetimes times out to fast and unfortunately you will lose the information you entered. Then you have to start over.

It was easy to learn and I use this software every day all day to assist our community.
What I like the most is the ability to track our clients and communicate with other agencies with ease and convenience. Our agency uses the report feature often as well! It is an excellent feature.
From time to time the system goes down and there is no communication to know when it may come back up. This is difficult for our agency because we are unable to assist with accuracy without the system. It would be nice to be able to combine duplicate files, too.

This has been a terrific tool in our outreach ministry.
This software has allowed and encouraged our city's churches to network their charity together. Charity Tracker has been a very useful tool. I have been able to catch clients being dishonest when I ask about their income. This is why I say it is so important to update client's income.
I like that I am able to access charity tracker to see where clients have received assistance from other agencies throughout various counties. Sometimes clients do not tell agencies where they have received assistance from and charity tracker lets you see where clients have been seeking assistance whether they received the assistance or not.
The software is great, I just wish everyone that uses the software update information when possible. Ex. Too often the clients income is not updated.
