I rarely write bad reviews but this product made my job miserable. Even as a nonprofit with limited funds, I chose to use another product just because I couldn't get eTapestry to do what I needed.

The auto reminders and calendaring are super helpful. The seamless integration with online giving was also a blessing.

The product is easy to use, intuitive, and very easy to manipulate into reporting what you need to know. The vendor offers so many amazing training courses and really set's you up for success.

There are preset reports and queries, but we have the ability to design our own reports and queries as well. Also, the customer support by phone, email, and chat is outstanding.

The support team at eTapestry is very helpful and having live chat is great. ETapestry has freed so much of our time and helping streamline our processes.

When you get it, you can be completely surprised because you have no idea of what they will be delivering because they did no layouts to have you approve.

Flexibility of donor records is important and works well. Tagging donors in multiple different ways always our nonprofit to track and communicate in ways that are important to the donor.

I have used so many different donor management software packages throughout my career and I have never been so pleased as I am with eTapestry.

Etapestry was a Cadillac and we only needed a Ford Escort at the time. Great for large nonprofits, more than what's needed for small ones.

As we are in multiple cities - the user access is very limited. It is almost either they can see and do everything or not do anything.

It is not very intuitive. Also, the training videos are not included, which is a big negative since the program is so expensive to begin with.

It was difficult sometimes to get the information you required out of the program without specific training.

People knew what tools they need in the system, but did not invest in further exploration of resources until I arrived. It was fairly intuitive though.

Moreover, at the time, it did not integrate well with other systems we were purchasing.

I have used the software in my work for a nonprofit 501 c 3 organization. eTapestry has a clear, intuitive structure that is also easy to personalize. I feel like information that before was spread out over our intranet, email marketing software, and donor database system is now together in one place for streamlined communication.

Thoughts on Etap

I have been using eTapestry for a little over 3 years. I manage all of the donations that my non-profit receives and use eTapestry to assist in that process. It was a little difficult to navigate at first. I took over my position with little training on eTapestry, so I had to figure a lot of it out as I was using it. Once I got the hang of how queries and reports communicate with each other, it made everything a lot easier! The support team with eTapestry has been great in helping me learn all of the functions the site has to offer. They were able to answer all of my questions and make me feel comfortable using the site. We also utilize the personal fundraising pages as well. These have been fair easy to maintain. eTapestry is not the most user friendly for people who do not have a lot of computer/internet skills. I was able to navigate most of it, but had to reach out to support many times.

I really like eTapestry for donor giving and cultivation.

Great Tool for Tracking Donors

I'll give it a c minus - not recommended.  Even though the product has some very good features, there is a large 'hump' you have to get through in order to get it up and going.  If you insist on using it, buy unlimited phone support and forget the expensive training modules.

Not intuitive, online training is cumbersome, boring, many many hours.

We use eTapestry as a software relationship building and donation tracking device. We are quite pleased with the software and are sharing our successes with you because eTapestry is an easy and affordable database for our organization.

Pros and Cons of eTapestry

I have used eTapestry for almost a year in my nonprofit communications & support position. I use it daily for different functions: managing and tracking donors and volunteers, e-communications, and mailings. It is easy to use and has saved us an immense amount of time since we switched from our older database. I would recommend it to anyone looking to make your time in a busy field make the most impact.

A Product to Grow Into

This gave us a great way to organize and collect customer data in a usable form. Sending customized emails was tedious and should have been more straight forward.

eTapestry is a really great product. We love how easy it is to use and manipulate.  While it takes some thinking to get it set up just so, it's amazingly flexible!
