Great people to work with and wonderful online training resources.
Transition was super smooth. Easy to get started and set up after moving from Raiser's Edge.
There is some room for improvement to add polish to the app connectors and to basic functionality in general. But they are responsive to new feature ideas.

Bloomerang purchased Kindful - which makes your life so much better than it is now. Purchase Bloomerang (check out my review for ease of use) and purchase the extremely affordable Kindful add on. your fundraising and CRM/donor management capabilities will be unstoppable!
Nothing honestly. Bloomerang is solid, and their acquisition of Kindful was intelligent. This team is comparable to big $$$$ products, like Raiser's Edge.

We transition from a nonuser-friendly CRM (Blackbaud Razors Edge) due to clunkiness and expense. Kindful was the opposite... user-friendly, easy to adapt, helpful customer service, and MUCH cheaper than Blackbaud systems. Transitioning to Kindful has been one the best decisions I have ever made.
When you are creating specialized reports it can be a little difficult to navigate at times

Kindful's best features are by far its user-friendly interface and their excellent support service. Their support team is always super helpful and quick to respond. The new chat feature is a great addition to an already great system.
While it covers most of the bases, it is lacking some of the robustness you would get from something like the Blackbaud suite. While they do offer things like event registrations, they are very limited in scope and capabilities.

I like the people the best. They are a newer company and the staff (including the CEO) are very approachable and responsive. They appreciate our feedback and are able to adapt to our needs. It's really unheard of for a major database company to provide this level of customer service. The interface of the database is also great - clean, simple and easy. We are glad we made the switch from Blackbaud.
There are a few features (ex. template reports) we would like to see added in time. We love the input we can have as they add new features, but others may not prefer that option.

Overall, Kindful has been a great fit for our organizational needs. I still have not taken full advantage of all the great features but continue to be impressed with what they are able to do! I intend to stick with Kindful for a while.
Kindful is very user friendly and tailors to our needs as a small growing organization. Kindful grows with us and continues to be on the cutting edge by syncing with popular apps that are applicable to nonprofits. Streamlining and efficiency with tremendous rapid response from their support team is what I love most!
Filtering and segmenting reports for emails and board reports can be a little tricky. This is where I've needed most support and training. Also, it would be great to have the capacity to store images/files on my Kindful account (attached to donor profiles) of incoming checks and thank you letters as a way to keep track.
