integration with CCB, ease of use for our users, separate account for preschool makes bookkeeping cleaner, customizable action links, easy to turn funds on and off, pretty good reports

Good platform but needs more administrative features

Kindrid integration with other platforms has not worked for us.

Pros

Easy to set deposits as either manual or automatic. Keywords are easy to set up on demand.

Cons

Could use a better mobile platform - edit features for the user do not always work.

Pros

With our organizations running all contribution records through Shelby Arena, Kindrid has made the importing and communication process very smooth between the two systems.

We have had to manually make these corrections before importing the contributions into Shelby Arena.

We never had a text-to-give feature before Kindrid.

Pros

The interface & dashboard is user friendly. Exporting giving info was extremely easy.

Cons

I don't know that I have a problem with the software, the only problem I had was in the delays processing the ACH transactions.

Great giving solution

Pros

Simplicity. Cheaper rates. Great customer service. They have always been very responsive and very helpful. The user experience is really simple and fairly intuitive.

Cons

Basic questions like how many recurring givers, how many new givers, etc are hard to track down.

Kindrid has taken us to the Next Level in Online Giving

Pros

On the back-office side, we appreciate how easy it is to access a variety of reports and to import data directly into our donor/database software (CCB).

Cons

Of course we wish it was less expensive, but we have compared it with other vendors twice since we started and Kindrid/Give.Church has been less than or equal to the competition both times.

Kindrid has been a great benefit to our church. We were given incredible service and a great rate as a church plant even though we were right at the end of the first year when we started. Truly appreciate their partnership.

Pros

The ease of use and assistance in getting everything set up.

Cons

It did not integrate with our accounting software and there was not a separate log-in for our third party accountant.

Easy platform that will make a big impact on your digital giving

An immediate increase in giving by adding text-to-give. The giving option has become 12% of our giving.

Pros

Kindrid is very easy to set up.

Cons

For example, we'd like to customize the automated response when a gift is process, but that is nailed down and non-customizable. Our integration with FellowshipOne is also limited and needs to be expanded to feed ACH donations accurately.

I am not a fan of the limited ways you can download reports. I wish there was a way we could have the option to easily run reports on the website without having to download.

Pros

The set up is simple and the functionality is user friendly. The dashboard gives you all of your analytics and does the work for you!

The ease of use for our congregants. ACH giving is best value. Over 60% of giving is done through Kindrid.

Cons

The credit card giving is pricey, but I understand that Kindrid is not at fault.

The Kindrid Team is great; I use the product daily and it meets my needs to process our text giving.

Many of our donors set up recurring gifts which is a wonderful feature.

Pros

This product interfaces with my ACS giving software which makes importing text donations to my financial software so easy.

Cons

I realize that this may be a personal preference but I use another software for other credit and debit processing that does it this way and I find it works much better for me in my bookkeeping when I am able to track a one time monthly charge and fee rather than individual transaction fees.

Kindrid Ease of Use

I did not realize this because I wasn't receiving other notifications, just what hit our bank.

Pros

It is easy to use and download reports. I have never had training navigating the system and at the same time I have never had an issue teaching myself.

Cons

I am sure we do not use the software to its full extent, but I think for the price I am not sure we will. I wish the full amount of our sales came through to our bank and we saw fees later. It is slightly more difficult from an accounting perspective that I see required price hit our bank and not the amount that was intended.

Pros

I can always immediately reach a support person with any questions in under 2 minutes. I do like how instead of a password, you only need a cellphone BUT I have had complaints that people would like to log-in with a password. Not everyone has a cellphone here so they just won't give online.

Cons

Reporting is lacking and it doesn't inform me if I had a recurring gift decline.

User friendly text giving

I am finding, however, that the pin number is difficult for our older users to understand - that's not necessarily Give.Church's responsibility to fix, but maybe if there were another option given (many websites give the choice between text or email, or take other routes to verify identity), it'd help those who want to use it but have trouble.

Pros

The ability to make quick work of any edits or reports I need to run.

Cons

The lack of more customization options - I'd love to be able to customize the size of the text, the background color or image, the addition of something that encourages ACH giving built into the giving page, not just a separate link I can send.
