Pros

The integrations with CCB - automatically creating profiles and the ability to put them into process queues, the automation you can use to capture data, and the merge fields you can use to personalize your messages.

Cons

I would love to have the ability to schedule reoccurring texts, schedule texts to go out 1 day after they opt in, then a week, then a month, etc.

I wish it would integrate better with our churches database, ccb, because as of now we use these two systems separately.

The combination of easily managed conversations and mass texting that is linked to our database enables SO much personal outreach during out new guest welcome process!

Pros

It prioritizes engagement, rather than mass communication. I use it as a work phone number, essentially.

Cons

They make up for it with incredibly responsive support, consistent new features, and continual updates to design and functionality!

We are in agreement that there are several UI issues. We have been fixing those as quickly as we can. However, it does appear that your experience is below acceptable which might suggest something more. We apologize.

It integrates well with our online database so no need to add phone numbers separately.

Pros: Integrates with CCB, our online database, which makes it easy for us to text groups easily.

Cons

Very few cons. When we find something does not work the company is quick to fix the problem. That will happen with all new programs.

The yearly subscription is well worth it. The month by month isn't bad but you save more money doing the yearly subscription. Also, use the auto-responders and scheduling as much as possible. That's what makes this tool so powerful.

- Sometimes it can be slow - I wish we could collect more info that name and email address - Setting up groups and campaigns feels redundant

The mass email feature.

Pros

The mass texting capability. How the replies come to a central location so that multiple leaders can review them.

Cons

Only that it was hard to figure out at first - even after having watched the video. It's also challenging to create groups - members are added one at a time - it would be nice to add multiple people at one time.

Great product, greater people!

I've had the opportunity to use Pastor's Line since it's beta stage. Not only is it an amazing product that really helps you connect with large groups of people in a simple and effective way, but Jason and the team are an amazing group of kingdom-focused people. Their passion for Pastor's Line is only surpassed by their passion for Christ which in my opinion is why Pastor's Line is such a win!

Pros

It's a simple and effective way for those in ministry to connect with their congregation past the weekend service. It serves as an effective way to get participation from your congregation during the service through live polls, the ability to send questions in, and building an engaged audience.

Cons

I wish there was an actual app instead of using the mobile browser

Pros

Being able to keep large amounts of text interaction simply organized and automatically be handled.

Cons

It was very buggy and not that intuitive. Seemed as though they have more work done on features and didn't think hard enough on user experience.

Thank you for your review. This is something we are hearing more and more. I think the churches who love us as we are, are ok with the UI because we provide the features that saves them time. We also provide tons of support. However, we do recognize that this can be an issue for many others and currently are redesigning our application. This is our summer focus. I'm still trying to figure out how to link to our church database. I have made the link with regular updates.

Cons

It took some time, but this is ALL new for me. At 55 I'm still able to embrace new technology and LOVE it!

I also like that when I import new contacts that the software checks for duplicates.

Cons

I have not used the software long enough to speak well about any negatives. My only dislike so far is some of the page layouts are confusing.

We love Pastorsline and how easily we are able to connect (and get responses back) with our church.

Able to reach lots of people quickly and easily, the way they want to be reached, and allows multiple people to share the burden so one person isn't doing all the work.

Pros

We've had lots of people who weren't in our database communicating with our church for the first time because texting is so easy.

Cons

Inbox is hard to manage when you have a lot of text campaigns going on at the same time. We want to make sure all the people texting us are followed up with and not falling through the cracks.

Instant communication with my members!

Pros

I like that I can instantly communicate with my members via phone or text. I like that it allows me to individually respond back to texts that come in.

Cons

I don't like how people call back my phone when they missed an automated call. It would be nice if they could call back and hear the message I just sent our or something. I'm not sure if it always leave a voicemail? I'd also like to see more easily who is texting back- I feel like texts can get lost easily in the system and I can't find it.

This has opened up possibilities of group texting options, easy forms, and engaging with visitors in a crazy easy way!

Cons

You've done a great job with what I've seen so far, but the addition of texting saved searches and the ability to select a text string to save as notes in their CCB profile with fit perfectly with our currently needs and processes.

Thanks for your review and we are excited to have built a deep integration for CCB.

The saved searches option is next on our CCB list. Q1 2018. The "select a text string to save as notes" has been on my mind but it isn't our top priority. We would first need to understand what most CCB users want then check if that's an option for us to integrate with.

Pastor's Line sync's with our churches database (CCB) and then we can send out mass text messages to large groups of people that all come from a phone number with a local area code AND we can text back with people.

Cons

The software is fairly new and is still a little clunky. There are some features that aren't quite intuitive on where they are located or what icon refers to what function.
