Tithe'ly offers a seamless integration between multiple platforms to manage a church or non-profit.
They are constantly improving the integration between the mobile app and the desktop versions but this has not always been a smooth transtion. But the team is open to quick to hearing and resolving issues across platforms.

Support has been excellent, use of the software has been pretty straight forward and comprehensive.
We are using Tithe.ly as a whole package because of a discount provided by our national church with Tithe.ly as a preferred provider. I love the church app and so do our members. Member management is important, but I also love the added giving options for our website, app, and texting.
Website editing platform is difficult to use and time consuming. There is a learning curve for the Elvanto ChMS, but once developed it is solid. I wish that Breeze were the default ChMS in the bundle.

It does take money out of our parishioners' accounts. Our treasurer manages to generate giving statements using the data available, although they cut and paste it into Excel. But the bugginess of the software concerns me about security, given that they hold sensitive information about both our church and our donors. When our donors experience difficulty using the product due to how buggy it is, that reflects poorly on our organization. Shopping for a better alternative.
Once automatic donations are set up, they consistently do what they were intended to do. For a small, budget-conscious church this can be an option.
UI is extremely buggy. I've worked as a software developer, and the lack of error handling for the most basic of features gives me second-hand embarrassment. I am the one who set up the software and am also a user. Doing something as simple as attempting to change my credit card had me very frustrated. I can't imagine how difficult this would be to use for someone not tech-savvy, which is most of our...

The biggest benefit to this software is knowing what's going on. Reporting is easy and immediate, removing the guesswork and allowing for more robust planning.
How easy it is to use even for beginners and those for whom technology is difficult/new.
There are still some features not as robust so we have to use a separate program that doesn't integrate with Breeze/Tithe.ly. Events Manager and externally received donations (PayPal, etc.) are too manual.

Text giving is very easy. You can easily export giving reports on the administrator side.
You have to search for the church you're giving to and if you're not careful, you can accidentally give to another church that might have a very similar church name. You can't actually view someone's giving profile. Little strange.

We've been a customer for several years and I've had a good overall experience. I've talked with sales people, custom service, and even a couple of engineers. Across the board, everyone has been friendly and showed a genuine care for our church.I believe they really do care about making a great product for churches to use and that means a lot to me.
Fairly simple to use. Even with lots of features, there are natural places to go and look for them. There are several extra features that I probably wouldn't have tried as a stand alone, but are really cool. We just implemented the credit card reader through Tithely Pay and it has been really helpful.
They are still building everything out so there are a few quirks. For instance, we have their larger church management system (Elvanto) which is where I have to go for things like group reporting and kids checkin. If I want to look at online giving or send messages, I've got to go through the tithely interface. If I want our church app, I go through the Tithely interface, but it sends me to another landing page for our app. None of this is a big deal because I know where everything is, but it might take you a few minutes to get familiar with everything.

I have really enjoyed being able to use push notifications to our members and being able to tailor them to specific groups like "Kid Parents" or "Youth Group" or "Worship Choir." I like the design of the app and the website and the ease in which it is manipulated. Like any new product, you may have to take some time to find your bearings, but once you get the hang of it, it's easy and great to use.
We had a web site we were building ourselves, but with Tithely we now have a better website that can be integrated into our app; a great app that can communicate with our members; a text number that can be used not only with 'text to give', but can be used as a digital visitor card, a book check-out, or to send information about an event or a ministry using keywords of my choice. Fundraising and online giving work great and are comparative with other online giving programs. We have also added child check-in to our church. Not only is it pretty easy to use (and has great help videos), but it uses a nice-looking design for all of its online uses.
There were some features we advertised to our members that are not being used by them. We have pushed those further back and focused on what is being offered and used instead. At times there is a miscommunication with our child check-in, but I believe that may be a local firewall issue and not a Tithely problem.

Many features in one package. It was the main reason we went with Tithely. ChMS, Website, App, Messaging, Events, Media all in one place is a great option at a great price.
Some of the integration is lacking in capability. I would love to see more ease of use between all the different systems. The website is not as customizable as I would like, lacking some features that are standard on most other builders. When building a website, it can also be difficult to find where you want to be and how to create menus vs pages etc. Customer service has been the part i have been most disappointed with. We paid for the onboarding and yet now have heard nothing in a while and even when we reach out are left wanting more.

Overall a reliable option for doing online giving but likely will switch to another platform that offers better integration with other software (ChMS and website) or that offers reduced fees for processing giving transactions.
It offers an easy to set up giving solution for non-profits with the ability to designate different accounts for giving and set up re-occurring giving without any up front costs.
Its integration within its own platform (user management, website, etc.) is messy at best. Giving fees are industry standard with no discounts or savings for non-profits.

User-friendly; Allows for picture of members; Connects attendance, giving, directory info, and family members all into one convenient place
We transferred information from our old software, and it was not organized very well when it transferred over. It can be difficult to print certain specific information or lists of people, but that may be due to the lack of organization after transfer.

We use it for donation tracking and receipts, member management and communication mostly. We have used the software a lot to send reminder emails to various groups with web meeting links, taking attendance for worship and sending out bulletin emails. We have used the giving software Tithe.ly which is free and very effective. I would recommend every church use their giving software which is the original offering of the company and their best product.
We use the church management software Elvanto and they didn't include tax receipts in the software even though it is used to track donations. The customer support staff had to duct tape a receipt template for me to use last year. If you are using the free software, the tax receipts are automated but not for the paid software which doesn't make sense. Still they are very helpful and gave me something I could use.
Thank you Arlene! We're so happy to hear that you are served well by our Tithe.ly team, and also enjoy using the product.

Tithe.ly offered us the opportunity to grow our online giving and delve into having an app for church connection. I think they were more focused on growing and acquiring other platforms and lost sight of serving their customers; keeping the ones they had. After awhile, the hype wore off and the giveaways and flashy Tithe.ly Next presentations just seemed empty as much was promised but little delivered in terms of ongoing support.
It was very easy to get started and affordable for what was being offered. I started with the free plan to see how members took to it and it was widely accepted. I upgraded due to the management system, messaging, app and website. I like how it was an all-in-one program.
I mostly disliked the constant bombardment of advertisements to upgrade or integrate with some new product they acquired while the ones they had were still running on Tithe.ly 1.0. The lack of support grew worse over time with the little bubble on the bottom right of the screen of Tithe.ly support was anything but helpful just offering up canned responses or links to outdated information or dead pages.

I had a donor who wanted to give a $20,000 single donation to our cause. He navigated to our website and to giving page with Tithe.ly's giving form. Tithely's giving form made it so easy that he never had to call or email me for help. In the past, receiving this offering would have required a phone call, tech support, and double checking on the back end to ensure it got to the right fund. The donation has already been deposited and everyone is happy, happy, happy. I am very satisfied customer. Thank you for making giving simple and easy.
The thing I like most about Tithe.ly is how easy and simple it is to make and receive donations through our website.
There is nothing I really dislike about Tithe.ly software. It takes a little time to setup but that is to be expected with any new software. It takes less time than other systems we've used in the past.

We love the product, the quick customer service, and the ease of use!
The customer service is amazing and helped to implement the software system from our previous system. It didn't take long and they guided us through the entire process.
Remembering how to get to some reports and reconciling the deposits from breeze to our bank can me a little more steps than the last system. But not a deal breaker!

No benefits except a lower charge than the app we were using. However, definitely not worth it since we can't access our donations for two weeks and have to track balances and etc ourselves anyway.
Cost was competitive. This review says I need to come up with more positive things to say, but this has not been a positive experience.
Two major issues, one minor1. Bank transactions are delayed and it takes "up to" 10 BUSINESS days for tithely to deposit the money that was donated into our bank account. 5 business days at a minimum, and that is unlikely. Other apps transfer the same day (for the same donors from the same bank accounts)2. Does not have a dash board or track the amount given that has not yet been deposited. Especially an issue when the deposits are not made consecutively by when the donations were made, and with long delays.3. Not user friendly. Donors had multiple issues getting set up.
Hey Heather, Thanks so much for your feedback about your experience using Tithely giving. We wanted to reply here with the goal of being helpful for you and even others! It is true that for ACH (or Bank transfers) that the timing is slower than for Credit Cards, however this is not something that Tithely controls, but rather a limitation of the technology for these types of transfers. With your ability to setup daily deposits with Tithely we make it easy for the money to transfer to your bank account as soon as it completes processing! Our goals for both you as a customer, and your members (or donors) is to have a product that is easy to use to help support your ministry. If there's ever trouble there we'd love to help out. As the leader of a small nonprofit, we were eager to use a platform that we thought would give us a one stop for many different functions we currently use through separate platforms. I don’t believe Tithe.ly was honest about how much time and work would go into trying to build the website and transfer data. After going through an incredibly difficult period and not accessing any of the tools in our subscription, we were denied a refund. Tithe.ly gives ZERO refund, even if the tools don’t meet your needs and even if you don’t use the services. Nothing in their website says this.
I liked that it seemed noncommittal and well priced.
Website is time consuming to set up and the required format for merging contact lists made them completely incompatible for us. The data collected cannot be customized. Events cannot be created as a series so every event must be copied and pasted as many times as you provide it.

Overall, Tithely was helpful in getting us switched over from our previous provider and is constantly working to create new features and products to add value to the product.
There are a lot of tools that are very helpful: online giving, church management software, email campaigns, text giving, website creator, mobile app and so much more. There are a lot of tools at your disposal for a very reasonable all-inclusive price.
The one downside is that some of tools do not communicate with each other. You have to keep a separate database in the church management side from the one on the donor side. It can be time consuming to do duplicate work. They have promised for a while to fix this with a two-way sync, but it has never come to fruition. Despite this flaw, it is still worth the cost and will be EXCELLENT once it is fixed (hopefully).

We use Tithe.ly plus Elvanto. It's much more affordable and also MUCH more user friendly. All of my staff were able to learn it quickly and are actually utilizing the software on a regular basis. We use the reporting, emailing, and people data functions the most. We use it to organize our weekly volunteers. We also use it as a donor database to track donor giving. We have used it for 1.5 years and have so many more features we plan to put to use in 2023.
We use Elvanto a LOT, which is owned and integrated by Tithe.ly, much more than we actually use the Tithe.ly software. As Tithe.ly continues to build out it features, we use more and more of it. However, we are extremely happy with Elvanto and the integration between it and Tithe.ly.
No software can meet 100% of your needs because everyone's needs are so unique. However, Tithe.ly meets more of our needs and also has fabulous customer service that helps whenever needed. We don't plan to switch anytime in the near or distant future.
Thank you so much Rachel! We love hearing this! And often see that church staff feel supported when using digital tools that help their roles become more efficient. Thanks so much for sharing this with us!

Like most software companies, it's easy to reach sales, but a little harder to reach tech support. Thankfully, we don't need tech support much because it's pretty intuitive and they have an extensive knowledge base.
We started with Elvanto around 7 years ago before it merged with Tithly. You'll notice I refer mostly to Elvanto in this review because that is the most important part of the system for us. We had so many people who refused to use technology, but despite personal feelings, the system quickly became indispensible for communications and church management. The last few years brought many changes to our...
After the tithely/elvanto merge, I was concerned the functionality in Elvanto would be lost. I am pleased to announce this was not the case. However, the tithely side still needs a little work when it comes to giving anyone outside of a full admin access to the various areas. I am also looking forward to better stats in the communications area so we can see who is engaging (opening, clicking) and who isn't. I would also like to see the newsletter function from the website integrate into the communications area.

Overall, my experience with Tithe.ly has been progressively better. I had such a difficult time with tithe.ly initially, but as I've learned a lot more about website building, and source code editing, integrations, etc, all the workings to make a good website, I truly enjoy what tithe.ly has to offer. Everything is connected with tithe.ly, that's the only dangerous part. So changing things in the...
I believe there's parts of tithe.ly that beneficial for small organizations. My ministry is small and growing, but I still find tithe.ly as a whole to be very useful. They have a lot of different guides that always accessible. However, my favorite part of tithe.ly is their 'sites'. My website and giving is powered by tithe.ly and I enjoy it very much. I will say it's not the best design, however, the...
My biggest complaint is that unless you recognize a problem with something, tithe.ly does not reach out to you. What I mean is, I had an error with the bank account on file, and for several months, all the donations through tithe.ly were not coming into the account like I thought they were. I received an email in September, stating that a deposit was on its way to my account. After that email, I stopped...

I like the Tithely vision: a whole suite of products under one roof. But given that they've bought different products and merged them rather than developing from scratch, there's little continuity between the products. They don't fix bugs and dont demonstrate a culture that even cares about the bugs. I feel as though those doing the development planning have NEVER worked in a church before, because of the amount of core functionality missing. That said, this company has the potential to be the leader in church tech products if they'd just change their culture, quit launching half-baked products, and fix what's wrong with current products. They love God and want to serve the church. Hopefully they can fix what ails them so they can serve even more churches!
Tithely has built an amazing suite of tools for the church, at an amazing price: $99/ month. Really can't beat the price, when you consider that this provides Church Management, Text Messaging, Website, Giving, Media, and a Mobile App
There are TONS of missing features and functionality, and this isn't disclosed or known until after you've made the conversion and are in too deep to switch again. For example, in ChMS, -The framework is outdated - 20 years old or more. -Automated reports really aren't reports, just an email reminder to run a report -Due to bugs, Giving transactions dont auto-populate in ChMS -No conditional rules...

We are a small non-profit, and the features mentioned above with the competitive pricing makes this product absolutely essential. If you are shopping for a sharp, easy to use, customizable giving platform, with great rates and useful features, look no more. THIS is a quality product for a great price and I have yet to be disappointed!
The fees are competitive. When compared to other companies, their prices are equal or lower. The company only charges a fee on actual donations (they DON'T charge a separate monthly fee regardless of donation amounts). They give donors an option to click a box where they will cover the fees for the donation. They also allow donors to set up recurring giving, which is an important option for us. Tithe.ly...
At this point I have not discovered a feature I don't like. I came to tithe.ly after using 2 other giving platform softwares, and this is, hands down, the best I have used. Business problems solved: Ease of use for donors in Tithely Giving. CMS capability used, including tracking activities, worship service planning, financial management, critical files management
Within one family of software much of what a church needs is available. Also critical is their mission-oriented customer support.
There are some growing pains and a bit of over-promise not quite yet delivery on their next-gen CMS. We began with Tithely Giving - best-in-class and then Elvanto, a CMS that they bought and integrated. It's a good CMS and they have been working on improving the backbone to allow seamless sync'ing of the various products, but Elvanto is feeling dated now and lacking some love. For example, Tithely Messaging is good but not available directly from Elvanto, and Elvanto features not available yet to Messaging.
Thank you Pastor Robert! We're so happy to hear that you are served well by our Tithe.ly team, and also enjoy using the product.

It has been a good relationship with Tithely. I think as they grow there needs to more communication with our contact at Tithely dedicated to our area. We do like the quarterly Tithely Next live streaming to inform clients of updates, new features, improvements.
The ease of giving attracted us the most with all the different ways to give, online, text to give through Tithely or driving traffic to our website. Using Tithley for our website has been a great combination to the giving platform as mentioned and all the information we can offer our members and others who are searching for a church. We have yet to really tap into some of the other features Tithely offer like messaging, events etc.
The app has not been the best experience so far. There as a plug and play goes, there still needs to be a request to Tithely support to change certain items ie logos, header changes etc. We do like the push message section of the app that we use on a daily/weekly basis to members who have downloaded the app. We also like the sermon notes section that we use weekly to give members a place to make notes during the service. It does need to be manually imputed but other than tha it's a great feature.
