Pros
Overall, AssetTiger is a great asset tracking software platform. It allows small businesses to track their assets as well cost and location of the assets.
We have been using assettiger for about a year and overall asset tracking has been made super easy. A great feature they offer is being able to scan from a mobile device.
Free to use under 250 pieces of asset, very easy to use and customize to your needs. You can create your own labels (I did QR Codes, printed with P-Touch) and it works great.
Pros
Like most software packages the pre-planning is the most important part of deployment. Plan and plan again to be successful.
Overall experience with AssetVue has been very positive. Outstanding installation, support and communication with everyone involved.
AssetVue has excellent customer support and the ability to cater to your needs quickly or present solutions to your issues with roadmaps and timely results.
Cons
They retroactively started charging us with no notice. If this has happened to you just call and complain, they are refunding this without a fight because they know it is shady as hell.
The 'reserve' function is missing but it is in the process of being implemented so this won't stay a 'cons' for long.
Still the skeptic in me is still waiting for the gotcha.
Cons
My experience is based on the feedback from my teams. Challenges in getting Assets into the system, and lack of functionality for manipulating and federating the data.
A task that would literally took days has been cut down drastically. The color coding of the the equipment helped to identify what is needed to reconcile the inventory.
I did prefer more preloaded reports instead of creating them, call me lazy.
