We've had our ups and downs. After a couple of days on the phone with customer support, things have been clarified and settled. I understand some of my problems now and how to fix them. It is really the first time I have felt comfortable with my choice in software. As I learn new things, play with it more and talk with customer support things that I thought might be deal burners, are really not....
I have had more time with the software since my last review. As I slowly convert the firms old data to this new software, things are falling into place quickly. I'm becoming attuned to the software. Learning little things I didn't know where there, both by playing around and talking with customer support. This software is easy to learn. Not a real big learning curve, assuming you are familiar with project management, accounting, project setup or you have people familiar with those areas. I do it all, and basically maintain everything for everyone else.
I don't have many, but if I had to pick... they are not really cons, as I hope they will expand to these later on. API with Office 365/Outlook would be a nice added bonus. For me, especially Outlook. Also API with Quickbooks desktop version. This isn't a big issue, as I hope to also phase out QB and only use that software for payroll. Which I will then have an API if I go with QB Online/payroll. I will always use QB for payroll, so I am use to doing journal entries into systems to reflect the payroll numbers. This is not a hardship for me.

We migrated to the D365 for Finance and Operations ERP platform from an outdated ERP system. We had help from a third party integration team. We relied on a few Independent Software Vendors (ISV's) where D365 options didn't meet our requirements. The solution has been reliable.
It is a reliable platform that can handle core business functions.
Some display filtering logic needs tweaking.

We found that the CRM added convenience and structure to our sales core.
It's a great fit for our unit, but I could see how a larger firm would not benefit from the flexibility of the software.

The product is configurable and supports our core requirements well. Our partner rocks!
Some changes in strategy left us having to reinvest. Not as many integrated solutions as their main competitor.

This tool is useful for me for CRM purposes, but many features can be done outside of the tool.
Dynamics is essentially a fancy CRM tool, but does the job very effectively. A lot of features, helpful analytics.
There are other, less expensive tools that provide many of the same core functions at a lower price point.

Definitely provides full range suite of CRM offerings
Can do everything you need to... Post Sales Activity, Structure Marketing Campaigns and Capture Leads... Also has Mobile App (that can be used offline).
Marketing campaigns are cumbersome and not very intuitive. Also don't give you any true ROI. Very BIG system, if you are a smaller company.

The CRM platform itself is very impressive in scope and functionality to do the core things you would expect from a system.
Third party integrations are hard to come by. If you use the CRM and need to use other tools and platforms, you'll be out of luck

Microsoft dynamics is a well rounded ERP for the mid sized companies. Core functionality is included and it plays nice with other Microsoft products
The product shows its age sometimes is its clunkiness (dating back to great plains) and it seems to struggle in keeping up with the market saturation fo Netsuite. These effects are felt with the available integrations relative to Netsuite

I have used on both personal and work computer, my personal is Core I7 with 6G RAM but still having hard time when loading it.
very reliable and robust, user-friendly. I would like to say this is the best collection ever for Microsoft products
Licensing and product size on the device is very hard for some old PCs. I would like to have smaller memory occupating for this on my pc.

Core accounting functionality is exceptional - for processing A/P, A/R, and G/L transactions, this product is the best mid-market solution available.

Dynamic is being used to do the high level reporting and data analysis within the organization.
The ability of Dynamics to be integrated with core Microsoft applications used within the organization and the facilities it provides in high level reporting and data analysis.
Requires some time getting used to do the functionalities provided by the tool.

The core Dynamics CRM product is great - just need to do homework on 'unproven' ISV's and partners as that determines success or failure. The real key is to have a trusted CRM consultant that provides clear direction, criteria and solutions.
The core Dynamics CRM is an excellent product that is very flexible, intuitive, solid and with strong support. Some partners are good while other are not so much.
Some ISV's that extend the core Dynamics CRM are not good at all. There are many bugs, poor support, often require customization and just not good partners to do business with. This is only with a few select partners - many others are very good!

It allows me to easily create business plans and overviews which I can share to the staff. It gives the most realistic statistics about our company because of the features that the suite comes with.
It provides customizable and easy to understand tables or presentations, a perfect fit for tracking the business performance and other matters.
It works best on a bigger screen for me. The suite is not the most phone-friendly software.

Please use MS Dynamics for your growing business. The price, functions and ease of use will continue to drive performance for you and your peers.
It's Microsoft need I say more ? The software is top of the line, easy to use, easy to learn and apply to your business/life.The enterprise resource software has been invaluable in growing the top/bottom lines of my business.
This has been a positive experience from start to finish and I have NO CONS about this product suite.

Great CRM tool that's easy to configure and integration with Office 365 suite is a great advantage.
Microsoft with it's suite of Office 365 applications and launching MS Dynamics is a game changer for business CRM teams. The mobile app is top class to use and has lots of new features that integrate with Social media as well that makes this very powerful
Running some of the rules on the tool is cumbersome, but that's just going to improve overtime.

Dynamics was the ERP for our small business segment for awhile. It got us where we needed to be for accounting purposes, but was swiftly replaced by myself and a willing Business Director when he came on board. Have never looked back.
Very difficult to find something I actually liked about this ERP. I suppose it met the needs of our business segment until it could be replaced.
Does not support VPN connections... You could use the web client to get around that (per our Microsoft appointed partner), but many core functionalities were not supported on the web client.

We use Microsoft Suite extensively at our organization so it was great to have another Microsoft tool integrated.
We switched from using Excel spreadsheets so any CRM was a huge upgrade but Dynamics definitely was customizable to our unique needs. Migrating data was straightforward.
The learning curve was quite steep and we had to budget adequate time to train users and allow for learning errors at first.

Great integration with 3rd party apps and seamless use with Offic 365.
Integration with Microsoft's entire suite of product. High level of customization with 3rd party applications.
The UI is not on par with HubSpot, which is what we were previously using. It seems they are making changes to improve upon this already.

Great experience. Easy to use and customer service was accessible and helpful
I liked the design of it. It was realitively simple to put together and even though it has numerous accountabilities it looks simple
It may be because we didn't opt for the full suite of services, but we didn't have all of the capabilities we wanted

This software integrates well with payment processing systems such as the Dynamics Suite Integrations that are available for larger businesses.
It can handle quite a large some of leaves and manage much information quickly and doesn't get slowed down.
It does not integrate with products outside of the Microsoft Suite very well especially with forms on a website if you create a form you have to put it in an iframe within the website and it will slow down the page speed dramatically.
