CompWALK overview

CompWALK is a cloud-based accreditation and compliance management solution that caters to businesses of all sizes across a range of industries, including healthcare, quality assurance (QA), accreditation, and food safety. The platform offers real-time online and offline inspections, workflow automation, document management, automated scheduling, and more.

CompWALK allows users to conduct inspections online, schedule preventive maintenance, and manage assessments. Inspections can be uploaded and reports created which satisfy regulations and compliance standards. With CompWALK, users can also store facilities management documents and reports in the cloud, and attach images and documents to questions within assessments. The centralized file repository allows users to organize files and search them by title, location, date, and more. A range of file types are supported, including Word documents, Excel spreadsheets, PDFs, JPGs, PNGs, and others.

CompWALK’s offline mode allows users to conduct inspections without an internet connection, and syncs data once connectivity is restored. The configurable client portal enables real-time interaction with clients, and empowers clients to update their company profiles, manage accreditation activities, upload documents, receive alerts, and perform self-assessments. CompWALK also provides tools for managing corrective actions, standards, complaints, staff evaluations, scheduling, facilities, expenses, and more.

We implemented the scheduling platform of CompWALK to improve our clinical laboratory accreditation process. We have employees dispersed around the country along with over 7,500 laboratories that need to be evaluated every two years. CompWALK allowed us to input all business rules that must be followed and deadlines for each laboratory, producing a cost-effective schedule in a fraction of the time. There is no human element to the system which eliminates favoritism or preferential treatment, and all deadlines are tracked to ensure surveys are completed on time. The solution vastly decreases inefficient travel for surveyors, increasing their time spent at home and improving work life balance. We use CompWALK to support our Individual Quality Control Plan (IQCP) educational product. Our IQCP program is an instrumental tool which helps to ensure that clinical laboratories are able to provide accurate and high quality test results for the patients they serve. With CompWALK we were able to easily upload our modules into the solution and deliver accurate and up to date information to our laboratory customers. Our customers appreciate the ease of use of CompWALK and prefer the online solution to other paper based methods. Pros easy to use, quick to deploy, excellent customer service, attentive staff, works on all mobile devices, creates reports immediately.
