Great affordable contract management solution

Reviewed 5 years ago
Pros

The ease of uploading and organizing files and the inclusion of secure electronic signatures.

Cons

I wish there was a bit more functionality with interacting with document once uploaded (i.e. rotate and delete pages).

ContractWorks Review

Reviewed 5 years ago
Pros

It is an affordable software that is easy to access and store documents. We love that it is simple and fulfills our overall goal of storing documents in a meaningful and organized way.

Cons

It fits our needs well. Creating new reports out of the software happens from time to time and there is a bit of a learning curve on my part when that happens.

A powerful product at a reasonable price from a responsive developer

Reviewed 3 years ago
Pros

This product is very easy to use and easy to teach. I recently needed to take some medical leave and was able to train two others to do some of the more exotic things I do on the program within an hour. Others who might only need to check the status of documents, download them, or possibly upload them, will find that this is exceptionally simple and easy to do. Storage is a great bargain, and the more data we tag, the better our reports get. Finally, support has been great. We've had big projects that involved sending hundreds of documents for signature through CW on a short timeline, and support was very responsive for us during that time.

Cons

The AI is fairly limited in its usefulness for us, although some companies might need little more than party names and start dates. Some features are not immediately obvious--like searching in-text in uploaded documents--in where to find them. The UI does not translate very well to an iPad and touch screen, to the frustration of some of my colleagues.

#1 Contract Management System available

Reviewed 5 years ago

Easy to use; ability to tag for alerts; staff is friendly, helpful and quick to respond; they are always updating and adding new/better features; the price is right

Pros

Ease of use and the ability to tag for alerts (renewal and terminations of contracts).

Cons

I would like it to be easier to move/download docs out of ContractWorks. You can drag contracts into the system but you have to click a box to download, etc.

Excellent value for money! Easy to set up & deploy.

Reviewed a year ago

We've had VERY few issues with the system and those we did have were fixed extremely quickly! The product is very reliable.

Pros

As the administrator, I am able to make changes to our tags and templates on the fly which is critical for us. The user experience is easy and intuitive. The reporting is very powerful and easy to use.

Cons

I wish there was a way to bulk archive expired contracts. As our contracts run on cycles, I can have a lot of them expiring at the same time. It would be great to be able to change the all the folders at the same time rather than 1 by 1.

Contract Works

Reviewed 5 years ago

Our Contract Management process is more efficient. It's easy to search for contracts, get notification when contracts are closer to renewal and/or expiry date.

Pros

We implemented Contract Works in 2018. What I liked most about the product and company is – ease of use, shorter implementation cycle and great sales team with focus on our needs, they were very honest on their recommendations and did not push additional add-ons to us, even though at one point we were thinking of buying electronic signature add-on however after discussing our use case they had recommended...

Cons

Digital signature feature was not out-of-the-box and was being sold as an add-on.

An easy to use, affordable contract management system

Reviewed 4 years ago

An easy to use, affordable contract management system, particularly for for those without internal legal resource who need to store and manage contracts, rather than generate and red-line them. Usually a 30 minute demo is enough for a new user to be able to get going as it is intuitive. The team are excellent and have provided timely, personalised support when it is occasionally needed.

Pros

Ease of use, intuitive interface, affordable pricing, unlimited users, ease of deployment, native e-sign functionality, excellent OCR

Cons

Only one way integration with Salesforce

Does what it says

Reviewed 5 years ago

We didn't have an easily searchable repository with reporting and tracking capabilities. That has completely changed. It was an effort to migrate our contracts into ContractWorks (which was a function of how they were stored previously and not a reflection of ContractWorks' capabilities) but once that project was complete, we could see ContractWorks' full potential.

Pros

ContractWorks functions wonderfully as a contract repository. We're able to easily get e-signatures, track and tag our contracts and run reports as needed. There are also new features rolled out regularly that have been added value. We have had zero complaints. We offer our new users training on ContractWorks but most have been able to navigate it themselves with little to no training.

Cons

Would love if it was also a contract management solution but it functions well as a repository.

Don’t over engineer a simple need; choose Contractworks

Reviewed a year ago
Pros

Contractworks is a straightforward set up and easy to use functionality. It may not have all the bells and whistles (that nobody uses) that other providers have, but if you’re looking for something simple and cost-effective, I hardly think you can do better than contract works.

Cons

Sometimes you have to go into the report mode to search on what you need, rather than staying in the primary search functionality of the main screen.

Exceptional - I've been involved with three companies who have implemented ContractWorks and continue to consult with one of those healthcare companies since the initial selection.

Pros

This is an excellent method for tracking key timelines in contracts.

Cons

The audit / review function could have one selection as "last month".

Gets the job done

Reviewed 6 months ago
Pros

ContractWorks gets the job done for what we need it most for - signatures and managing contracts.

Cons

Seems like it's a bit expensive, we only have one login for our team.

Vendor response

Hi Nicole, thanks for your review! It's great to hear how ContractWorks helps you get the job done. In regards to only having one login for your team, please reach out to your customer success manager for clarification. ContractWorks proudly offers unlimited users to all our accounts, so you should be able to get as many logins as needed for your team.

ContractWorks Review

Reviewed 3 years ago
Pros

ContractWorks is a simple, yet powerful tool that is intuitive and easy to learn/use. After demo-ing numerous other products, we determined that CW best fit our needs and we have been very happy with the product (especially the document management system and e-sign tool) since we lauched several months ago.

Cons

There are as many features as some other (more expensive) products but we found those features superfluous for our business needs.

ContractWorks is quick to learn, easy to use, and very functional!

Reviewed 9 years ago

Uploading by folder makes migration quick and easy. I received hands on training until I got the hang of the system. I was up and running in about half an hour. The system gives us all the flexibility we need for our contract management. The Customer Service team is very responsive, knowledgeable, and helpful. The price couldn't be beat for what we needed. I couldn't ask for a better platform.
