Pros

We transferred from Quickbooks to Dear Systems and it has been a great improvement. Our ability to manage inventory is far greater than before with QB.
We also just started keeping some inventory in another warehouse, so the ability to keep track of that through dear is nice. Also the B2B portal has been a nice addition to our company as well.
We have seen businesses of all sizes and natures effectively use DEAR to streamline their processes and gain important insight into their inventory management.

Pros

It's great software for keeping track of equipment assets used on a daily/weekly basis. It's been a great resource for the entire staff, and the customer service is phenomenal.
You can set up filters to monitor multiple status and save them as a "website. I like the fact that you can just jump to any of the saved websites at ease.
The ability to create customized reporting has simplified the process of surfacing data around our IT assets. It has saved us an immense amount of time when it comes time to audit our assets yearly.

Cons

Right now we have customers ordering SKU's and Dear changes them into something indiscriminately. We've lost at least $200 dollars in shipping the wrong items because of the system errors.
If they excel at anything, it's making their website look pretty -- although I have my complaints about poor functionality of the website as well. TL;DR -- Would not recommend to my worst enemy.
This can go for weeks at a time causing massive frustration for my staff around the country as well as disruption to my business.

Cons

The UI is very confusing to learn if you are new to EZO; cannot submit large inventory items (many line items); mobile platform is very heavy and boring.
Along with a locked lab, we no longer have many devices that go "missing. Team has the mobile app installed and are forced to go through the checkout process before getting access.
It was setup about 15 years ago and no one knows how to configure it anymore. We looked at several inventory management systems only to be driven off by the cost or lack of features.
