John: So, let's jump into reports. So, we got through, we created our customized business, we've gotten our staff, we've scheduled them, we've communicated with them and assigned tasks. They've clocked in, clocked out. I've approved their time sheets and sent them over to our payroll, and now we just want a little bit more of an overview of our actual business.
So, there's five reports the deputy creates for you. The employee details, the light HR side that can go into email, phone numbers, birthdays, how long people have worked with you, their training. And general usage is also really important. So if you have a staff member that did great with sales and you entered in a journal, you can pull a report on how many positive and negative journals that have been created. So if you have to promote someone, you have a reason why. If you had to unfortunately let someone go, you also have a reason why, and that's why it's still important to read the journal option.
My favorite part is Scheduling vs Timesheet vs Sales. Let's take a little bit of a deeper look in that one. Now, because we use a cloud-based QS, we get even more information. But we can see how many hours are scheduled, how many hours they actually clocked in and out, and any variants that may be there, what they cost us, and then what their sales were. So we can see that Epiphany had 140 dollars in sales, and she was scheduled 16 and worked 16. But in that same time period, we had Vickie, had a 184 dollars in sales. So we can say that Vickie has a higher sales per hour than Epiphany, so I want to make sure Vickie's schedule during my highest traffic hours, because we know she's going to sell the most product.
So, that's just one way that you can really utilize your ports to help reschedule and to really maximize on your profitability.
On the last reports are Time Off, so if you have a larger staff and you're getting those requests for time off, you can actually pull a report and see who you've already approved for certain - so you can make the best decisions when you're approving future time-offs for anyone else. And last, you can come into the employee map. So, this is where all of your locations are, red dots. The blue dots are where we actually clocked in. So Bob's Burgers location is downtown. Because I allow my staff to clock in from their mobile device, it drops a pin right here where I actually clocked in. So, I know that my employee did not clock in on-location.
Now, I can also set deputy to not allow this, so you can only clock in at-location. But I have a mobile work staff and I like to work from home some of the days. So, if you have multiple locations on, you can see the entire globe at one point by backing out, and you can see all of your employees and where they clocked in at any given time, which is a really nice way to keep control of your business.
