Prefer Dotloop but DocuSign Is Effective

2019-02-05

When we need a quick signature or initial, DocuSign is helpful for achieving this!

Pros

DocuSign is great for getting signatures from clients immediately.

Cons

I use both DocuSign and Dotloop and prefer Dotloop for a few reasons, but the primary reason is that Initials and signatures done via DocuSign are not automatically dated, while they are when done through DotLoop.

DotLoop Review

2018-10-09

DocuSign gets the job down effienciently

Pros

DotLoop has a lot of variety of functions for real estate transactions.

Cons

DocuSign can freeze up a lot. I am not sure if it is our work wifi but we have a lot of problems with it freezing up.

Intuitive, easy to use digital signature software

2018-09-11

I used it for about 2 years, however the broker my boss works for started offering DotLoop memberships for free to their agents.

Pros

I've used other digital signature software, such as Dotloop and InstaNet, and while they both had their benefits, DocuSign is hands down the easiest to learn and use.

Cons

Honestly, there is nothing I dislike about DocuSign at all.

Super fast, caters to multiple signing needs

2018-12-29

Overall, DocuSign is crucial to my day to day work in real estate and it works so reliably. Our office loves how easy it is to set up documents, get initials, signatures, comments, and more.

Pros

DocuSign is incredible! I get notified the millisecond that all the signatures are there. When sending a document in DocuSign, the request can be sent to multiple people each with a tailored message. Not only that, but I can set a signing order, if I know the broker only wants to sign off when all the other parties have initialed. It's incredibly flexible in that way.

Cons

The only downside is that I wish DocuSign would "autofill" with the signature fields (i.e. whenever a document has a line for a signature, DocuSign could detect that and put in a box for the signature). Dotloop does this, so I know the technology is out there!

Great for a quick signature. A headache for more.

2019-03-18

If you just want to upload a document and send it for a signature this is your product. It's the quickest and easiest! If you want more elaborate features or often forget your password and get locked out of sites this may not be your best choice.

Pros

If you want a quick signature this is your product. Upload, map, and send. It's really quick and really simple.

Cons

If you want a product to compete with Dotloop don't fall for their Transaction Rooms product.

Dotloop

2019-02-21

Pros

We switched to Docusign and I can see pros and cons for both.

Cons

The signing process was cumbersome and not as stable as Docisign. It confused our clients when they were unable to open and sign the doca.

Bad Software, Not Efficient, Horrible Customer Service

2018-02-21

I highly recommend using a different software. Dotloop promises a lot, but performs horribly. Customer service and account Rep Ana Fleisher not willing to work with me around contract.

Cons

Second, the electronic signature portion is very cumbersome and time consuming. Docusign is a much better software.
