Pros

As a patient, time saved in the provider's office was significant, and the ability to review all the documentation at my own pace was important.

AS

Amy S.

It is well done, beautiful enough to be user friendly. It allows me to have more time to do the important things.

AT

Alexandre T.

Overall expereince with DocuSign was great. Ease of use and great customer service if you have any questions.

DU

Danielle U.

Pros

I am lucky to have a support staff person in our office who helped me get started when I had a few questions. However, it was very simple to transition to this and I love it.

KS

Karen S.

The versatility, I can use it from my laptop, tablet or phone and its user friendly and its great when you need to integrate everyone in the deal. Love and recommend it to all.

MG

Monica G.

Really like the ease of the is software. I really like how easy it's to send documents to my clients and the ease of sharing.

DL

Don L.

Cons

Every contact with customer service was a failure. It's a real shame that such a big company can release such a bad API / SDKs...the worst API integration I have ever made.

Sébastien G.

At first, I missed one document that I had to go back and sign once I found the correct email. This is probably more user error, but it did make it more confusing.

CM

Christa M.

My business did more for our customers than our contract required - because it's the right thing to do. I was very disappointed in DocuSign that they automatically charged my credit card.

DA

Donna A.

Cons

If you make a mistake on a form and send it out, fixing the mistake erases all signatures and you have to resend. Understandable why this occurs but can become frustrating.

DC

David C.

Dotloop is full garbage help, and dead ends when trying to cancel. You can only cancel if you make an appointment.

AR

Anonymous Reviewer

Concerned that our customer's data is no longer private and they are discouraging our clients from using us as professionals. For that reason, I don't know how long I will stay with it.

Very easy to use and like it for signing individual documents that are non-real estate transaction related.

Quick & Easy

Reviewed 2 years ago

It delivers just what I'm needing in regards to electronic signatures. Not all my clients can make it to the office for time sensitive contracts.

Pros

For electronic signatures, it's very simple and fast. My company took on this software after a change and it's been seem-less, from DotLoop to Ducusign.

Cons

I can't say anything negative about it yet...I haven't experienced any drawbacks. Perhaps, the fact that i have to always make a separate entry for date instead of having it included with each signature or initial made.

Not worth the money

Reviewed a year ago
Pros

Ease of use is great, but it doesn't allow you to make changes or updates without eating into your monthly minimums. I tore through mine and the upcharges are not worth it, in my opinion.

Cons

Limited licenses. I only need it for me, but had a very busy month (champagne problems) and flew through my licenses. DocuSign wanted me to pay beyond my monthly fee to send more files. DotLoop did not.

Intuitive, easy to use digital signature software

Reviewed 3 years ago

DocuSign was so easy to use. As previously mentioned, I prefer it over any other digital signature software. I used it for about 2 years, however the broker my boss works for started offering DotLoop memberships for free to their agents. This is the ONLY reason I stopped using DocuSign. I would recommend it to anyone who need to get signatures quickly or get signatures from parties out of town.

Pros

The best thing about DocuSign is how easy it is to use. I've used other digital signature software, such as Dotloop and InstaNet, and while they both had their benefits, DocuSign is hands down the easiest to learn and use. I actually prefer DocuSign over any other digital signature software.

Cons

Honestly, there is nothing I dislike about DocuSign at all.

DocuSign

Super fast, caters to multiple signing needs

Reviewed 3 years ago

Overall, DocuSign is crucial to my day to day work in real estate and it works so reliably. Our office loves how easy it is to set up documents, get initials, signatures, comments, and more.

Pros

DocuSign is incredible! I get notified the millisecond that all the signatures are there. When sending a document in DocuSign, the request can be sent to multiple people each with a tailored message. Not only that, but I can set a signing order, if I know the broker only wants to sign off when all the other parties have initialed. It's incredibly flexible in that way.

Cons

The only downside is that I wish DocuSign would "autofill" with the signature fields (i.e. whenever a document has a line for a signature, DocuSign could detect that and put in a box for the signature). Dotloop does this, so I know the technology is out there!

DocuSign

Great for a quick signature. A headache for more.

Reviewed 3 years ago

If you just want to upload a document and send it for a signature this is your product. It's the quickest and easiest! If you want more elaborate features or often forget your password and get locked out of sites this may not be your best choice.

Pros

If you want a quick signature this is your product. Upload, map, and send. It's really quick and really simple.

Cons

If you want a product to compete with Dotloop don't fall for their Transaction Rooms product. It's clunky, not intuitive, and just often doesn't work quite right. Also, because Docusign is so freaked out about security they don't allow me as the admin to help my agents to the same degree that Dotloop did. They require that they personally reach out to the Docusign help and I've found the Docusign help team often takes too long to get legitimate help from. More than once their product has had legitimate issues that it took me over 3 days to convince them that the solution wasn't' something simple and stupid like the cache on my computer.

I am not KW, not for me...

Reviewed 2 years ago

It is okay, but redundant. If I receive docs from a KW agent, I download and then upload to DocuSign. Docusign is used by most agents, not just KW.

Pros

It allows to send large files through a cloud. It is basically the same as receiving a PDF file via email.

Cons

I will not share client emails with Keller Williams since I do not work for them. I prefer neutral platforms.

Dotloop has been very easy to learn and to use. It keeps my paperwork organized digitally and easy to access.

Pros

This program was very easy to learn. I was previously using DocuSign so it was not difficult to learn the new system. I find it easier and more user friendly than Docusign.

Cons

Actually, I don't have any complaints with this system. I had problems setting it up as I had an existing Dotloop under my previous companies but tech support fixed this promptly.

Does Exactly What You Need it To

Reviewed 7 months ago

I recently used dotloop to manage all the documents involved with selling a piece of real estate. I had previously used Docusign, which I didn't really have any issues with, but this time went with dotloop. We found just as good if not better than Docusign.

Pros

Dotloop made it easy to see what documents were ready/complete, which still needed to be signed, and by whom they needed to be signed. It made the "workflow" involved in selling a property and all the paperwork that entails incredibly streamlined and painless.

Cons

It's difficult to not like anything about dotloop as a user. I could just pull it up, see what documents still needed my signature, review documents i'd already signed etc. It just works.

Dotloop Review

I really liked Dotloop but now I'm using Docusign and Authentisign and feel those are better electronic signing software.

Pros

I liked the layout and the organization of forms.

Cons

The signing of docs for the end user had a minor glitch. A few times It would not let them sign and give a message that the document was open. Customer Service said that was a glitch in the system that they were addressing so probably fixed now.

it was okay

Reviewed a year ago

I think it's a perfectly fine system. ijust wasn't used to since when i started my real estate career i was already using docusign. It does everything that docusign does merge docs, set up signatures and initials. I just wasn't used to switching between the two when I switched brokerage.

Pros

It's simple enough and does it job.. It's easy to share the document with others. It does everything that docusign does

Cons

I dont think this is really a con but whenever i have to use dotloop I didn't like it. because if felt like i had to search for every function adn it didnt come easily.. This is probably because I was used to using Docusign. Other colleagues of mine who were already using dotloop like it over docusign... Dot Loop is okay. Many agents send documents through it but I still don't think it is the best software out there.

Pros

Dot Loop is great because a lot of us in the real estate industry use it and it is easy to get the hang of even if you don't use it as your primary software.

A Great Tool For Contract to Close

Reviewed 2 years ago

Overall, we were very happy with this system. The only reason we switched to docusign as a company was because Keller Williams did not want to be associated with Zillow, and Zillow bought out dotloop.

Pros

The system is very easy to navigate and use when preparing documents and sharing them to clients for e-signatures as well as cooperating brokers.

Cons

We experienced this very infrequently, but there were times when the system would glitch and lock the client out from signing a document. I think it was due to the document originator still being logged in or open on that document.

Dotloop Improvement

Reviewed 2 years ago

I do believe that dotloop has the capability of offering more to its consumers. I prefer that my CRM is separated from my transaction site in order to reduce confusion. Docusign does allow for more integration between various applications and there is a small price difference between the two, with Docusign being a little less expensive. Some agents also prefer Zipform due to ease of use and being preferred by their local real estate commission. Also with Zipform the use of the software is included in real estate dues so it's difficult to justify paying for another program that does most of what you're needing/wanting.

Pros

Pros: Dotloop offer Real Estate templates, ability to fill out forms, and allows for agents and clients to electronically sign documents without having to meet face-to-face during their already busy lives.

Cons

Cons: Dotloop is a little more difficult to navigate and use unlike its competitors, DocuSign and Zipform. I seem many agents request that documents not be sent to them via dotloop due to the complexity and lack of ease of use. Sometimes it's more beneficial to have a more simplistic software program.

Review of DotLoop

Reviewed 9 months ago

Basically, besides the email signature roadblock, my experience is good. I understand there is a learning curve and I'm working on it. Please continue to have your representatives available to support clients on the phone. A "live" person comes in so handy in stressful situations. I definitely value this option.

Pros

The product offers many valuable features. The sharing of tutorials is great and the DotLoop service team is excellent. It is VERY important to be able to speak to a knowledgeable representative on the "phone."

Cons

Signing documents for our older generation who is not computer savvy is definitely a roadblock. I've run into this situation several times. DocuSign has a way around this hurdle. Can DotLoop improve on this feature? Also, having a menu option for Hot Keys such as copying check boxes would be great. I did print off the Tip Sheet, but it would be helpful to have an on-screen option rather than searching on a website.

Amazing Dotloop

Reviewed 2 years ago

Fantastic! Really like this software and how easy it is to share documents with other parties.

Pros

Ease of use, functionality, and archiving ability. Very easy to use once I learned the basic concepts. Pulling in documents to my loops were very easy, the autofill options were great, and the back and forth between documents and also between loops took minimal effort.

Cons

Only con I can think of is that most other agents seem to use Docusign, and so when I would send them something through Dotloop, even as a PDF, there seemed to be complications on their end. Not sure why but I would often have to end up downloading the file and emailing it. As Keller Williams agents, we don't pay to use this software as that's paid by corporate. Not sure what the cost is that an average user pays.

Bad Software, Not Efficient, Horrible Customer Service

Reviewed 4 years ago

I highly recommend using a different software. Dotloop promises a lot, but performs horribly. Customer service and account Rep Ana Fleisher not willing to work with me around contract.

Pros

No pros were added to this review

Cons

Everything. I was told I can share any and all documents with anyone involved in a transaction. However, important documents such as inspection reports and appraisal reports are too large of files to be shared. Second, the electronic signature portion is very cumbersome and time consuming. Docusign is a much better software. Third, their customer service is awful! It takes days to respond, if they even do respond. They only care about their bottom dollar, and not the client. Fourth, because the software is so bad, agents on my team have invested in their own software because of how much they do not like Dotloop.
