Pros

Their customer service is fantastic, they respond quickly and can get you moving in the right direction right away. You get the feeling that they want to help you be successful.
The software is very easy to learn and use, along with great features and functionality. Has some great workarounds and has been able to do everything we've needed and much more.
I've evaluated a few other solutions and for the money, Finale is great. There is a learning curve and it certainly helps if you're good with excel.

Pros

We love the showroom and have recently just reached out to customers giving them access. We also just love the GUI and how intuitive it is.
It's very powerful and affordable for small businesses. Plus their customer service team is one of the best I have experienced.
Customer service is always excellent and any issues we have had have been resolved quickly and with a friendly manner. We are looking forward to the new version with the Magneto integration.

Cons

All systems lack something but there are no real standouts to me right now. Having done so many system ups, I have had to find less manual or other workarounds to run this system.
Sometimes when mapping items, I start to type and a drop down menu of items appears and when I click on the correct one, the wrong one gets inputted.
I dislike that we can't delete Product Lookups from a Product ID once it's been created.

Cons

This has on a number of occasions caused me to inadvertently overcharge customers, and is extremely embarrassing when it's they who notice it first and think I'm trying to "pull a fast one" on them.
Iphone app missing some functionality. Missing possibilty for sub-sub location.
Had a problem with my computer because of a security update, which caused my inflow to stop working.

What isn't there to love about Finale Inventory! We have been a using Finale Inventory since August 2014 and absolutely love it. We are an online retailer selling primarily on eBay and Amazon including Amazon FBA. Some of the features we love: -Highly Customizable, nearly everything within the software can be customized to the way you want to view it on screen, printed as a report, for search, etc....

Cons

Coming from a different software previously (Inflow Inventory), there was a steep learning curve as you would expect. Figuring out how you want to customize your screen takes some time as there are just so many features.

Inventory management.

Pros

Our business manufactures items that require assembly and kitting. Finale's ability to manage and track each component individually as well as when complete kits are sold is very advantageous for our business. As well, the ability to synchronize inventory and transactions through our multiple sales channels allows us to rely on Finale as our single inventory management system. Lastly, the ease of use and set up has been refreshing as we were able to get started within a few days and training employee's is a breeze.

Finale inventory makes my life so easy for inventory! Everything is so easy! It's inexpensive and you can create hundreds of extra fields to help further organize your inventory

Cons

Sometimes Finale is TOO simple, which is kind of a bad thing. But I also love that they just don't do certain things. But connectivity works between programs, so that makes up for it.

Tracking our inventory! Finale does everything an inventory software should do for your business.

Pros

The best thing about Finale is the ease of use of the software. Everything is mostly self-explanatory and there is no need to spend a week training on the system because it is so easy to use.

Cons

Some of the report customizations can be daunting because is requires coding some spots, but other than that it is still easy to use.

Finale is an easy to use inventory software that keeps all of your inventory organized and allows you to see which locations your stock is, and makes refilling inventory simple.

Cons

Haven't run into any issues with Finale, and they are always available to help with any support or technical issues. Everything works around Excel, so if you don't know how to use excel, it may be a bit difficult.

Overall I feel like Finale Inventory offers the most robust, powerful inventory management platform out there.

Pros

Overall, the functionality Finale Inventory offers is better than all the other software platforms I have tested and used over the years. The ability to map product aliases to a master sku is a necessary process I have found lacking on similar platforms. Finale offers a simple and straightforward way to manage this. Setting up warehouses

Cons

The user interface is lacking. The platform is fast and their simple UI keeps it that way, but it certainly looks outdated. In addition their reporting and document templates are lacking, with a non-intuitive way to customize them. Also, there's no real FBA integration. Essentially, you set up a virtual type of warehouse, call it AMAZON-FBA, set inventory levels, and then map those sales to that warehouse. There's no real querying of FBA to check inventory levels and show discrepancies. Although their approach is workable, it would very nice to actually have a real integration with FBA rather than a band-aid approach.

It is very easy to use and does not require a lot of time in order to familiarize yourself with the procedures required to use it.

Cons

It struggled with its QuickBooks integration. It had no problems pulling in the inventory but invoices and purchase orders would sometimes not move the inventory or financial information to QuickBooks.

Great software, well thought out layout, and the support is quick and on the ball (which is a HUGE asset). The system specific reporting module is also very easy to navigate and super helpful for businesses that don't staff an internal report writer.

Pros

The amount of customization available out of the box with Finale Inventory makes it an ideal tool, especially for small businesses with unusual inventory management practices.

Cons

I would love to see a bit less reliance on ShipStation as a partner system for some basic order management tasks.

Simple inventory that fits how we work.

Pros

Finale Inventory is very easy to use, not overly-built and accessible to the small-medium sized business who do not need a complicated ERP management type system. Right out of the gate, it is very easy to set up and start using, so that you can be productive in the first day. Simply start where you need, and build outward from there. Small But Growing Business on Multiple Platforms

Finale has done great solving the main need we had, that is, a centralized inventory that is synced across multiple selling platforms. They worked with us to be one of the first customers syncing to Amazon.co.uk which was great. There have only been a few selling platforms they do not yet support but we are hoping to come soon. Sometimes the software is a little quirky to use, but for the most part, is pretty stable and you can usually find a good workaround. It is limited in the fact you cannot centralize listings/data and push those out (only inventory stock levels), but for the cost of the product, this was understood. Still love it and plan to continue using it going forward.

Pros

Centralized inventory synced across multiple sales channels/platforms

Cons

Sometimes "clunky" or quirky in areas; adding new products a little cumbersome; more sales channels to sync with would be great (Please get Weebly soon!)

Pros

We added Finale Inventory to manage our inventory across multiple sales channels. Finale Inventory is easy to use and it does the job. Setup was simple and customer support is fantastic. When we have questions we can't figure out on our own we get a response within hours, not days. It's also easy to create PO's and automatically adds the inventory when the products are received.

Cons

The only suggestion I would make is on the Product Lookup page. I experience some challenges when adding multiple quantities (packing) to a product lookup. I've learned a workaround, but other than that I use it regularly and love it.

Fully managed warehouse & Inventory with easy to understand setup.

Pros

It's very convenient to use, and has a very wide range of functions and compaitibility. It also allows us to automate pretty much everything involved in our inventory and warehouse.

Cons

I wouldn't mind a desktop application, and maybe a bit better function with multiple tabs, I find it tends to lag with more than one.

Importing our data and training our staff was far easier than we imagined. Just cut and paste from Excel. We've used Finale now for two years as our order management system and warehouse management system. Outshines other inventory control systems and asset tracking software for manufacturing hands down.

Pros

Finale Inventory means we can work on other areas of the business assured that our inventory is well managed. Faultless user friendly interface ensures staff don't get caught up in the navaigation or processes.

While searching for an inventory software that could connect to all our platforms, Finale Inventory was the only one with the integrations we needed. Not only does it connect and track all of our inventory on multiple platforms, we are able to run the reports needed to understand our business more than we have in the past.

Cons

The usability took a little getting used to, while the UX can be a little tough to understand, especially if you are looking at new features you haven't used before. After about 3 months on the platform, you get used to the areas you need and can run reports with ease.

Finale Is The Best Inventory System On The Market & Amazing Customer Support

We have been using Finale for the past year and a half and it truly is awesome. It does take some effort to fully understand and utilize, but, it's well worth the effort. Even better than their 5 star software is Finale's 10 star customer support. I like to believe our business has the best customer support, but it can't hold a candle to the extra mile the folks at Finale go to help their customers. Thank you Finale for a great product and truly out of this world customer support!

Just the inventory tool we were looking for!

We needed a program that would like to our online shipping program to track and manage our inventory. We had previously been doing manual counts with excel spreadsheets so having this makes keeping track of inventory a lot easier, more efficient and accurate. Unlike some other programs we had researched, Finale Inventory handles our 'kitting' needs without being overpriced. Customer service was on par. Highly recommended!

Pros

It is exactly what we needed. Handles all the complexities at a fair price.

Cons

A lot of initial set up on our end - but that's because of our own internal inventory issues.

Pros

It is very easy to use! When you don't understand how to do something, there are help videos for everything! It works extremely well with Quickbooks which is essential for running my business smoothly.

Cons

There is honestly nothing I don't like. The few instances that I have come across a report or screen that doesn't work exactly for my business, the team are able to make accommodations for me. The customer service is amazing!

Most inventory softwares want their software to be the first point that the order hits (In effect, Shopify/Clickfunnels > Inventory software > shipstation.) Well that works great for shopify, but not very well for clickfunnels. So there's not very many inventory solutions that can track inventory in the background, But finale does it flawlessly. It has a very simple interface - there are other platforms that are much better. But Finale gets the job done just the same.

Will work in the background with shipstation. Does not require that it's the first point of contact.

Superb service, perfect for our needs, easy to use

Pros

We are part of a university research lab group that uses Finale to track supplies of biospecimen collection kits (builds) and lab supplies. The ability to create builds (to track individual components) for our kits is wonderful! Also, the ability to track lot identifiers and expiration dates is critical for lab reagents and things like blood collection vials. Having Finale Inventory has really helped...

Cons

Overall, we are extremely happy with the software. Sometimes our inventory numbers get off due to user error, especially when our builds change (which is not often). So we don't suggest relying solely on re-order thresholds. This is a problem more with our workflow than the software, but it would be nice if there were some kind of mechanism to assist with build changes and inventory audits (though...

Inventory Mastery

Pros

I like the team of people that built it. I like that they genuinely care about my issues. And the quality of the software reflects the solid engineering behind it.

Cons

The security options and access control is very limited and not specific enough. I'd like to setup my users to have very specific access.

inFlow Inventory experience is above par. I would recommend using inFlow Inventory.

Pros

This software is capable of catering to your unique needs. It is a great option for start-ups and you get a lot of pack for the punch. You are paying a cost effective price point for optimal software. Inventory is a lot easier to manage using inFlow Inventory.

Cons

The free trial period is only two weeks, that is unfortunate.

Easy to use and cheap

Our company was looking for a cheap Inventory software to control our buses parts inventory. It is not a big inventory then Inflow is the perfect software for our company. We can make many reports that can help us to control the inventory. In addition Inflow is cheapest inventory software that we could find.

Great software but needs work in a few key areas

Simple inventory management.

Pros

The software is great for managing our inventory it has images, adds bar codes, manufacturers SKU and the showroom is a great start. InFlow has allowed us to become more compliant in managing Hazardous Goods.

Cons

The showroom needs to have more customisation options, the labels only print on Dymo printers however we have a Toshiba Tec industrial label printer a common printer that we use bartender software with. Why cant Inflow integrate with Bartender to support all label printers? We are using InFlow to manage a chemical store, this means chemicals and consumables used in a laboratory environment. Inflow could do with the ability to upload a PDF to an item in the extras field so you can attach a MSDS to the products if they are hazardous materials.

this product helps somehow in your daily monitoring of your business inventory. Almost all transactions with regards to inventory and sales management are available. You can track all movements of your inventory with ease.

Cons

The product is not likely applicable in a big company with many different products with different part no.

Pros

Accuracy and options for inventory information is crucial to what we do. This software does it all. Easy entry and accurate reports keep us well informed.

Cons

Can't enter new inventory items in the purchase order. Have to enter new items in inventory first. It would be much faster if we could enter the items in one module .

Inventory management - Purchasing, receiving, adjustments, picking and shipping flow smoothly. Converting sales quotes to sales orders works well. Exporting files and reports allows us to customize reporting via Excel and other reporting tools.

Pros

the Inventory management tools and Dashboard.

Cons

Use of alternate inventory items is a real benefit. However, the inability to relate the primary and alternate items when calculating On Hand, Reserved, Available, etc. is a real handicap.

less time doing paperwork and inventory

Pros

having an inventory connected to your selling force is good, you can see if something is available right away. also, the feature of the reports is very good, you can see how good (or bad) a product is selling immediately.

Cons

I don't find any cons to be honest if you know how to use it the software is very precise so you don't make mistakes.
