Our industry is strictly a distribution. We are in the Window and Door Hardware business.  Previously we were using spreadsheets to do our inventory and generating pick tickets through Quickbooks. Fishbowl offered us the opportunity to have one system. Fishbowl has some great features that work well with our business.

We are a simple distribution with high volume.  We ship, relieve and invoice more than 2000 boxes a week with ease. The purchasing function within Fishbowl is key in our business. It affords us the ability to see purchases and estimated time of arrival. The reporting features are key in determining customer usage and extremely helpful in forecasting.

The system is very simple to learn.  I felt like an expert in just a matter of days.

We've been using Fishbowl since 2009. We have a distribution company and needed an inventory program, because we were making use of excel spreadsheets and check sheets. We love that items come in via purchase orders and go out via sales orders, which gives us a good handle on our inventory. We also make use of the manufacturing module because we assemble some of our products. Another feature we love about Fishbowl is its integration with QuickBooks. The training tutorials were very helpful and the live chat is invaluable!
