It allows users to monitor the location of their vehicles in real-time and offers vehicle visibility and safety. It helps businesses from asset theft.

Not only do you have to speak to at least 3 people to get anything accomplished, you also have to repeat the same information over and over and over.   If the employee does not like your attitude they will just close out the case number and you never hear from them again until you call in and start the whole process over.   Although we are happy with the products if I could go back in time I would never choose this company due to customer service. 40 minutes to get a replacement unit is just not acceptable.

We tried multiple times to contact our account manager and his senior with no response to fix up the over charging plus close the account.

It’s not the simplest system out of the box, but it becomes incredibly useful for improving visibility, accountability, and decision-making across a fleet. While there are areas that could be more user-friendly, the insights and operational control I gain outweigh the frustrations.

I can see where assets are in real time, track routes, and quickly understand what’s actually happening day to day instead of guessing.

The key is customer service and the tech support is not good, they are not fast to fix or correct issues within there system or products.

While there were no dead zones that I noticed there were some places that it seemed to lag and did not update at the 30 second rate that it did most of the time.

Rather then write all and sundry in detail, I will list in point form the various issues that our Company has encountered with Verizon Connect, with the contracts and additional units constantly updated and facilitated due to new fleet vehicles and vehicle upgrades as would be expected with any sizeable Company Fleet requirement.

The customer support, tech support is not the best and they are not in a hurry to fix issues once there is a tech issue or issue within the system.

Verizon connect was very reliable and I did not notice any dead zones are areas where it would not update or I could not follow the GPS.

Updating the trackers requires a NEW contract.  

You're locked into a 3 year agreement with no option for cancellation, other than buyout of the entire contract.
