Real-Time Scheduling and GPS Tracking

With GeoOp’s GPS tracking system, you know where your staff and other assets are in real time. When job requests are phoned in, you simply log the details into GeoOp and assign the job based on skill, availability, or worker location, depending on what best fits.

Once a job is assigned, the staff can be duly notified via popups and SMS, and accept or reject the assignment as necessary. GeoOp also provides the most efficient driving routes to save on travel time and fuel costs.

Paperless Business Administration

Quotes, job sheets, file attachments, invoices, inventory, revenue statements, expense summaries – these and many more are part of everyday field service administration. While they’re necessary to drive a business to profitable levels, they take up considerable time and labor resources. Record Management

With GeoOp, essential data is kept in one place – input once, shared, and updated as necessary. Updates are synced across users’ devices in real time, and automatic alerts ensure the right people are equipped with the right level of information to get things done.

With client information, workforce files, job records and histories, as well as photo attachments, PDFs, and manuals in one centralized repository, data search and retrieval no longer requires hours of digging through stacks of files. Users are also ensured of up-to-date information no matter what device they access the data from.

Reporting

For comprehensive visibility into the status of your field service business, GeoOp has a built-in reporting functionality that allows you to generate reports by staff member, client, job, charge, staff role, business type, job status, and lead source.

Other reports that can be created include staff list, jobs list, message history, and invoicing reports.

Mobility

GeoOp’s mobile capability empowers field personnel to send/receive messages to/from the home office, and the home office to track the whereabouts of their staff, vehicles, and other assets in real time. While on the job site, fieldworkers have the ability to update job sheets, track time, add photos and files, record parts and labor, draft payments, attach customer signatures, and take payments on the fly.

Parts and their associated costs and prices are stored in the system, so quotes for additional jobs can be created without fear of under- or overcharging, sent to customers, and subsequently converted into an open job post-customer acceptance, allowing your company to score more businesses faster.

It has all the features that one may need including photo upload, parts&labor, invoicing, etc.

Pros

- fast web interface - easy to learn user friendly menu - Lots of features and reports - Ability to export data to CSV, XLS - Unicode support, meaning most of foreighn alphabets are supported - Powerfull mobile app!

The Audio feature on the app is great so they don't have to text in the description, plus on the work report we can get exactly what hours they have done this week, for payroll.

Pros

Customer detail provision, Timesheet report Audio feature

Cons

Can't upload when not on line (we have signal issues here in wehangarei and nothing can be added if the signal is out) would be great if we could still enter the data on the app itself and it would upload when in signal. Inventory not on app itself only oline.

I would highly recommend to others and have on various occasions, but use the tutorials and train your team thoroughly on how to so that they enter information in the order you want it to appear, otherwise billing layout looks weird. The only problems we have had is with staff not being trained properly to use all the features.

Great bookings manager

GeoOp makes it easy to manage the schedules for everyone even when they're out on a job. Invoicing is super easy with the xero integration and it's easy to see a clients entire job history which is a great tool for us.

Pros

Great customer support, easy to use, works with all devices and simplifies our client and job management.

Cons

Making the billing details easier would also be a great improvement (ie: not having to create a whole seperate client for the billing to go to).

Difficulty deleting recurring templates, jobs seemed to keep popping up at later dates even though contract had been canceled and template deleted On site information can be overwritten or falsified because the timer is manually started

Ease of use, helpful customer service, good customizable features

Cons

I'm not too fond of the time change if you need support (they are based in New Zealand), and while I find it easy to use, my employees continually have issues with it on their tablets in the field.

Our tradesmen are not interested in fussing around for long periods of time after they finish a job.

A good simple app for job management

I used GeoOp almost every day - the company I work for is a plumbing company with 9 employees and we use GeoOp for scheduling jobs, tracking time spent on jobs, pricing jobs and keeping track of all materials used.

Pros

- Very easy to use and simple - Works well with iOS - Clean app design - Plays well with xero

Cons

- Doesn't work that well with Android OS - API for Armada is a bit buggy and doesn't always work - Not a huge array of features (more colour tabs would be nice, and ability to edit and arrange where items appear on an invoice generated through GeoOp to make it look nice would be good)

Sure have a lot more time on my hands

My workload was handed over to our admin staff who now log and administer the app in house and our staff get to sync their work back to the office in real time. Invoicing - a dream since we use Xero.

Pros

We can attach files, pictures or proof of work to the job and invoices, change statuses and plan routes based on the location of our jobs for the day/week

Cons

A few bugs, we've had great support from the team. A lot of response to our requests, I think a few big changes are on the way that should help our business moving forward

We us Geop to schedule and track small jobs and service work.

Pros

This program has everything we were looking for from Customer lists with addresses and mapping software, Ability for a secretary to enter and assign work remotely, Complete parts list to draw from. and ability to schedule return visits.

Cons

We are disappointed in the amount of time it takes to compile a list of part used on a job. The search interface is clumsy and needs to have contact with the internet all the time as the parts list is not on the device.

geo flop?

At present the system has un rounded invoices which randomly ad or remove 1cent from a rounded figure when gst is added. The mobile app crashes at random, doesn't work offline.
