I’m very happy and excited about the product. I’m just as excited about the direction and capability of this product in the near future. The Granular team continues to ask for feedback and ideas of how to improve, and I appreciate the fact that I’ve seen the Granular team consider and implement some of those ideas.
For years I looked for a farm management software that could help me reach my goal of knowing field level profitability on my farm. Granular has been a game changer and allows me to make smart financial decisions based off of good information. Granular’s ability to generate reports and modify reports is very impressive and provides valuable decision making information. Each new growing season adds new layers of good decision making information. I’m also very impressed by their customer service whenever a question arises. They are very knowledgeable about the Ag industry and their product, but also timely and helpful in resolving any problem or question. Granular is a great product with great people and a great team behind the product.
Setup is always a daunting task, but the customer service and support made it as seamless as possible.

Granular has saved us time and energy when it comes to recording work that has been done or scheduling work that is yet to happen. It has reduced the amount of confusion that can occur when sending employees to the field.
I have really enjoyed using the Granular mobile app. It is simple enough to use that we have been able to train the retired folks, we have help us during harvest, to use it. We enter our harvested totals and it makes it easy to double check that we are not missing elevator tickets based on what we harvested. It also nice to use during the task manager portion to send out work orders to employees. I can search fields and tasks and push work orders to different employees from my phone when I am out in the field. It results in less confusion and wasted time.
When searching for tasks to send out as work orders, the app can be slow in pulling them up.

Our experience has been great. Granular is very agile and open to hearing ideas on how to improve the product.
We initially purchased the product to eliminate paper crop plans. The primary purpose of the program for our business is an ERP for our crop production team. It helps assign tasks, or work orders, to our team members and get them going in the right direction. In addition, it allows us to easily capture field data - from inputs applied to time spent on a task by field.
We are currently struggling with users being able to data enter receipts and returns of inputs for inventory management (there is no functionality for this). Currently, all input inventory tracking has to be done in the office using invoices and paper tracking system by team members.

Granular has been a great way to consolidate all the Excel sheets of information our farm had previously been using. I like that all the information I look for on a daily basis is in one place. The customer service is among the best of any company I've worked with.
It has all the information I look for on a daily basis about my crop production in one place. It can be accessed from anywhere- not just in the office- which is a benefit when I'm in the field during the growing season. Multiple people can have access and field workers find it helpful for following tasks.
It can be very overwhelming to know how to get the information and figures you want to see to help make decisions. Not everyone on the farm has "bought into" it yet, so data still needs to be hand entered, which can be cumbersome.
We're so happy you chose Granular to be the one farm management system that brings your data together. We aim to help farms ditch all the spreadsheets and get the most important information to the farm organized into one central place!

I have been able to capture grain deliveries, grain yields per field, grain deliveries to specific elevators, create reports on input applications and create grain yield reports for crop insurance.
The Customer Success Managers stay connected to you and your farming operation that you get the most out of your Granular subscription. They meet with you - virtually - and ask the question to see what you need to make the Granular product useful for your operation.
it takes some time to catch on the the details of the software - like any software system - but once it clicks with you - it is very useful.

We are beginning to have a better handle on products used and seeing the profitability side of our farming operation. It is a HUGE learning curve, but it has value.
I like using the harvest transfer data the most. It helps when reconciling with the elevator. I am learning more each month and year the various features available. I like the ease of access anywhere whether through the mobile app or website. It helps when reconciling chemicals used and splits are concerned. I really like the planting reports that are available to review corn planting.
I wish some reports were easier to generate rather than having to export the CSV file and then filter and sort with excel. I also struggle with my spray operators to enter data. The mobile app should be more user friendly when spray operators are entering data.

In my honest opinion this software is second to none! We look at it daily and are constantly finding more uses for it and more tools within it. The profit analyzer and task manager get used the most.
Right now the biggest dislike is information doesn't flow back and forth between business and insights.

Prior to the installation of this software, I used to plan all tasks and expenses of the farm required for a whole season manually. It was much time consuming and a complete hassle for me. But now I am pleased to have Granular running my farm business efficiently. It has helped me and my co-workers to sort our entire hurdles.
With its advanced features like profit analyzer, weather forecasting, and monitoring of crop production, it helps us to overcome risk and uncertainties. The application is great to discover bottlenecks of farm and take required actions to make the farm profitable. Additionally, I could keep a close watch on-farm inventories, labors, expenses, sales and other resources. I really appreciate the accurate and insightful statistics that it offers.
No unlikely features. But it takes a little extra effort and time to learn and implement it. I want futher more documentations related to application and its features.

I have been able to make decisions on machine purchases because I know where my profitability stands. I’ve also been able to make quicker decisions on selling Grain by being able to review contracts and percentage sold. It’s also a tool that I’ve used to review input usage and billing with the retailers we use
The ability to view on a daily basis were profitability stands
So far I have not found many negatives. If anything, the software is very robust and just takes time to learn

It has been difficult t get all employees on board to support the software to the level that we would like. Our customer success manager has provided us with additional ideas and a timeline to help us reach an annual goal that we have set for the year.
It provides a central location for our daily operation. It provides our companies management team with tools that help guide them in making daily to annual decisions. It provides integration from other software that is used by our company.
It can be difficult to maneuver through for users/operators if they are not using it on a regular basis. We have problems with operators saying that they have a hard time using the application, may need additional training. Would like to have an area to enter actual costs for crop insurance, insurance, govt. payments, etc for the year. Would like to see an area that provides the ability to enter crop insurance units.

The support team is very good and responsive. Without them, the software would not be worth the purchase.
Cost tracking across my fields, and being able to pull reports down.
Too many workarounds for potato production.

Granular is doing a great job at helping keep track of our productions costs.
The functionality, we grow 12 - 15 different crops a year and Granular allows us to track the profitability of each one.
The initial set up time, and the learning curve, took longer than I would have liked. However it was worthwhile to achieve the results that we are now enjoying.

So far we are going into our first growing season with AgStudio. We have had trouble cleaning up previous years data sets but are slowing gaining. I like the amount of things you can do with AgStudio, but it takes time to learn the software.
I use AgStudio to manage our farming operation. The ability it has to micro manage your entire operation is the best part. The program is capable of many different things.
It is difficult to navigate through at times. The amount of clicks it takes to get to where you are going is sometime frustrating. Data upload isn't consistent and difficult.
That's the kind of feedback we love to hear, Andrew! We think that being able to micromanage an operation is incredibly important, especially in today's environment! Thank you for your business, and we hope that you find the value you were looking for out of it!

Freakin Awesome! [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] are awesome additions to our farm. I truly think of them that way. Customer service is the best Ive seen! Hopefully we can get away from guessing like "Well I think that variety worked well last year" Or being able to answer is a corn on corn on beans rotation better than just corn on beans. Will Milo be profitable this year? I love it.
I love the ability to plan for the next year right down to the seed variety we will use. the ability to keep track of grain contracts and inventory has also impacted or farm. This software will make our succession process or transition process much easier.
I am still in my first year of using granular so this might not be how i feel in the future, but it seems like one really doesn't want to make mistakes on the early stages of data input. It can really through the numbers off. It would also be nice to be able to have more than one crop planted on a field.

Granular has and continues to give me the information needed to make sound decisions, where as pre Granular, I felt like my decision making was more of a guess. I like how, Granular has not become content with were they are in the technology game, and continues to bring more to the table each and every year!!!
The ability to track, sort, and know down to each individual acres profitability!!!!

Granular has all the features you need and some didn't know you need. The support to get up and running is fantastic. it could be easy to forget to use and seem like too much work to get caught up. but the support keeps you useing and that helps to keep things moveing foward.
can seem overwhelming to get started especialy for larger operations.

Took a while to get everything going. But definitely glad we stuck with it. Definitely easier than having a bunch of notebooks and spreadsheets. Customer service is very good. They really try and work with you to make sure you're successful.
Lots of continual innovation and refining of features. They are always adding new things and trying to improve old ones. Really like being able to track grain inventory quickly along with being able to review costs, revenues, and breakevens quickly.
Integrations is sometimes tough for us for the equipment we use.

I have been able to track all inventories including grain storage, pesticides, and seed. I have been able to accurately monitor production practices as it relates to individual fields.
Granular business has been valuable in tracking and monitoring production expenses along with establishing profit targets/ potential. All field records are transferred directly from equipment into software allowing for detailed analysis. The support staff/ team is supportive and made the setup process easy. Customer support team is available and attentive to any question that arises.
I would like to have integration with granular insights. I would like to incorporate production history to help assist in crop insurance determinations.

I really like how easy it is to input information on Granulars Task Manager page. When I had any questions or needed help Granulars team was always quick to respond and very accommodating to my needs. They make it easy to customize the software.
No cons really. Its all very straightforward and staff is very helpful. It is time consuming on my end, but thats to be expected when running, maintaining, managing a business.

Keeps our operation focused on tasks during busy seasons. The dashboard feature is very helpful in making real time marketing decisions.

I like the profit analyzer and the ability to assign tasks to employees so that there is some organization to each season.
I dislike that it has been such a challenge to get employees to take a couple minutes to utilize the app during work. Also to get employees to enter the necessary data.
