Unable to see the total hours for the individual week when we get to the second week of the pay period. It only gives the total for both weeks.

I had to have the employee do it in person. I also had a lot of the staff unaware of how to upload documents on the app.

From a user-interface perspective, I like how easy the side-navigation bar is. Everything is very concise and understandable as far as what you'll find when clicking on each link.

Customer service is hard to get through to way to long of hold times it is hard to override things if the circumstances are unusual.

The time off feature isn't very customizable. We provide the full leave balance to employees on Jan 1st, but the software only allows employees to accrue leave.

Gusto seemed like the perfect software when we went through the demo, but the features just don't align with what we saw. Customer service is also very hit-or-miss.

Gusto is by far the most feature-packed HR software I have ever used as an employee. It seamlessly integrates everything into very easy-to-use and follow processes. When I was hired, I received a welcome letter from my employer within minutes and was able to fill out all my new hire paperwork. It guided me through the entire onboarding process, including signing my offer letter, completing a background check, filling out tax forms, setting up direct deposit, and selecting my benefits. Having used other HR software in the past, I found Gusto to be easier and more efficient. Its definitely worth it in my opinion!!

Gusto seemed like the perfect software when we went through the demo, but the features just don't align with what we saw. Customer service is also very hit-or-miss. I once spent an hour on the phone arguing with one representative about a fee they claimed was non-refundable, but when I sent an email to customer service, the representative I spoke with via email easily refunded the fee. 

Not the best

My overall experience as a Contractor, has been very positive with Gusto. The company I worked with, they switched to Gusto because the previous software they used, the subscription price to my understanding...was increasing. The company needed a software that was within their budget and could still fulfill payment processing on-time. Gusto always delivered our payments on-time and kept detailed records which helps when filing taxes.

Using Gusto with lots of…well…Gusto.

Overall I like the experience with Gusto but they need to work on customer service.
