Best value for money in CMMS Software

I use Fiix CMMS Software for Maintenance of Analytical Instrument under Good Laboratory Practice and FDA Regulations. I'm using it to manage instrument inventory, maintenance schedule, repairs and parts. It does the job very well for a very small portion of the price of a specialized Software for Maintenance Management in a laboratory.

Pros

Best Value for money on a 10:1 margin.

Cons

Not the most attractive interface of all the CMMS Software.

Addition of a much needed CMMS system.

Pros

Simple to use and set up. I like the offsite versus on-site server feature, makes it easy to see whats going on remotely. I find the mobile app extremely useful for my self and the staff.

Cons

Nothing issues with the software so far, just wish I could get more people to use it. It makes my scheduling much easier.

Pros

Easy to use and simple to set up , can generate work orders quickly without having to go through too many fields . Easy to schedule PM's and simple to create task lists and assign , also easy to complete and close.

Cons

I haven't really found anything that I dislike and I have worked with several other CMMS systems.

We reviewed 5 other CMMS software systems. Fiix had all the features we needed at the right price.

Pros

Establishes rigor in our CMMS system. The untethered application is useful for our industry.

Cons

Inventory was difficult to import. Building the structure or format around our system is something we are struggling with, but it's not the software's fault. It's our own doing.

Cons

As a new user I would love to have access to templates or examples for different types of asset hierarchies as a part of the free tutorials.

Would recommend Fiix as a CMMS program to small to intermediate businesses

Pros

The benefits of using Fiix as opposed to other options of CMMS programs are that it is Easy to use, comes with a Free demo, and is Competitive pricewise

Cons

Although it has mostly the same features, it Lacks some dynamic features of other, more expensive CMMS programs. (obviously more expensive = more stuff but I didn't know what else to write here)

Pros

Ease of use for a wide spread amount of people with all different backgrounds. Ability to customize.

Cons

I've worked with SAP, JD Edwards, Microsoft Dynamics D365 ERP systems, etc. Fiix provides simplicity in configuration. I enjoy working and learning more about Fiix and ways it can be configured to better my growing company.

Pros

Ease of use and configuration. User friendly system with smaller learning curve relative to other software systems.

Cons

Heavy on CMMS Asset management (as designed) but the Procurement side can use some upgrades/improvements (commenting as someone involved more on the Supply Chain/Procurement side).

Saves files and pictures, emails work orders , very easy to use and very reliable

Cons

Too many options that I don't use. Needs a simpler, less detailed option maybe.

I decided to install NetSuite even though we are a small company with only one shift of production and on maintenance tech. We are able to track all PM as well labor and parts for our equipment.

Not able to use with NetSuite unless everything is in NetSuite. I would like to be able to use with NetSuite when all the information is already in CMMS.

Our goal was to implement a system to manage assets, work orders and parts. Fiix offers all those solutions with the ability to integrate. System is easy to use and support is quick. Experienced some implementation challenges with some technical issues that took a long time to resolve. That is one area for improvement.

Pros

It's ease of use as a CMMS. It has the basic functions that a maintenance team will need to manage assets, work orders, spare parts and purchasing.

Cons

For multi-site use, you cannot limit the list of suppliers, preventive maintenance or task groups to the site users. It would be nice for those items be visible only to the site access level based on permissions. Configuration of reporting is not so simple.
