Pros

My customers are also super happy because HP tells them when something is scheduled and allows them to interact with us. More engaged clients mean happy clients that may spend more.
I love this software, I cannot thank the pros at housecall enough for introducing me to this product. The fee is very affordable and it has everything that I need to run my business daily.
I just like the ease of use and the organization of it. Keeps me organized and helps me accomplish more.

Pros

We were blown away by their Sherpa feature for picking the best worker for a job... they agreed to develop more features for us for free... a true partner.
We became more impressed with the Software and their Customer Service as we went along, they took care of us, they took the long view from the start.
The after sales support has been amazing. I am in Australia and have been communicating with the tech team in Canada on a regular bases and I have been guided though the whole set up process.

Cons

They utilize a chat bubble on their website for support and have little to no way of escalating a problem to speak with someone. The implementation of new features comes fast and furious.
We reluctantly renewed for one more year because of the hassle of yet another transition, and I can certainly say it has proved to be a mistake and regret.
When your account ask for that information you will not be able to provide that to them. You will eat that loss on your tax filing.

Cons

The only downside that I have seen is that there is no "forgot password" option. I was locked out of my account because I forgot my password.
The only negative thing I can think of is the fact I didn't have this software at my last job.
When you forget your password, that is it. It doesn't remember password incase you forget yours.

Scheduling, invoicing, field technician management/organization

Pros

Helps me and my field techs keep organized with jobs, parts needed, rescheduling. Google maps view helps us to see the house we are about to go to and have an idea of the job that may be needed.

Cons

Zestimate of house price is visible on invoice. Discount can only be applied to the entire job, cannot apply discount directly to a part or service. There is a glitch when scheduling a customer with multiple addresses using the app

Accessing customer history (jobs/invoices), QuickBooks integration, mobile management and now even greater control from the field with the iPad use update!

Cons

Needs to have job pause and follow up options on the time status section to track multiple job site visits and needs customizable job note section to add Parts/Materials needed and used, etc...

Billings and payments are easy, it gives us (customers) all pro options to use any payment method except cash of course.

Pros

House call pro is a quick and easy app for people who does field management work. It does workflow management easy. Customers can book a service call thru the app plus billing and paying too.

Cons

Nothing bad to say, I feel like this will be a leading app for field workers. I just don't like the set up of different email replies.

An easy way to create invoices and bill clients.

Pros

Software is extremely mobile friendly. Very easy to schedule jobs, type up invoices, collect payments, etc. the easiest mobile field management that I have tried (and I have tried a lot)!

Cons

Essential business features are missing. Some of those are payment terms, separate notes fields for invoices/estimates, custom fields, customizable estimate/invoice forms, ability to turn on/off the acceptance of a credit card payment for a specific invoice, field to choose how a customer found us (rather than having everything piled in "tags") etc.

Pros

As Housecall software, we use for our patient's for data collection, in 52 districts, the household data is collected through Housecall software is easy. Mobile access, as the field workers are in different places, scheduling the field excutives to respective districts is snug. Calender syncarnilization, service history, work order management, and client database are undecorated, retrievable, and understandable by Housecall software.

Cons

I do not faced any issues in Housecall software while working for field data collection.

interface of technician out in the field with customers

Cons

We work with a lot of Parent companies that we invoice and process invoices with, but the initial contact sheet info is built for customer info. There is no separate area for the billing info to also reflect the email, name and phone number for the Parent company. We can have several different designers at a parent company where we need the designer's contact info for each respective customer.

Overall the experience is good support seems to respond pretty quickly and typically has a good solution for whatever issue you're having software works very well of course like any other as long as you have a good cell phone or Wi-Fi connection and we really like how it keeps the customers involved and then sends them reminders as well as other emails to help boost reviews and customer service.

Pros

Easy to navigate in the field and very customer interactive.

Cons

It will only let you view or build future field tech routes for the current day, so it can be difficult for office dispatchers to accurately build future optimized routes during the busy season and your trying to schedule 3 to 4 days out. (Support) recommends to MapQuest it or something seems kind of ridiculous. I won't mention any names but our previous software would allow you to do this, it made...

Difficult to use for HVAC.

Field is kept abreast of current and historic information.

Pros

Customer history; field's ability to have updated info. I don't have a minimum of 100 characters of good things I like about this software.

Cons

No ability to customize emails; lack of control on when notifications are sent; no area strictly for equipment; inability to chose appt time easily from job creation; inconsistency in how icons and navigation is used throughout application

It's easy to use,our field techs love how they can communicate with the other Tech's and customers while their in the field, writing notes can be seen by everyone..Great Program

Cons

Everyone who is put on the job schedule had to have a time.We have job that aren't on a time frame/time

Great Service.

My company and I are very satisfied with the overall efficiency this service provides for us. To overcome our one issue on the cons list, I got all of our management staff Ipads to be able to continue to work effortlessly in the field.

Pros

Products are very user friendly. Operates with quick books very efficiently. Service allows us to streamline our lead management into estimates, into booked worked to jobs. With the backing of quickbooks, we are able to seamlessly overturn all of our work through one service and have it automatically updated into our accounting. Drag and drop features for scheduling make managing teams and projects fast and efficient.

Cons

Mobil app feels miles behind the web browser. When it comes to my management team trying to schedule or update work on the move, the app does not feel nearly as smooth or seamless as the web browser and attempting to use the web browser version on a phone is also not an easy process.
