All of our crew can see the schedule. The text messages confirming the appointments and letting customer's know the crew is on the way are really a hit with the customers!
The crew can go into the app and do their work, eliminating lost paperwork, etc. They can see their schedules the same way I can.
I wish there were search functions, where I could pull up certain data. I know I can export data to spreadsheets, but it would just be more convenient if I could do it through the app. As an admin and user, I wish I didn't have to view certain things in the app (like reply messages from customer texts). I would prefer to see it on the pc and not have to use my phone for the messages.

I through away for software that could not work for me and my crew. Liars.
Easy to sign in Estimate and invoice easy Other than that they are bad. I would not recommend lied and said I could get a refund if it didn't work for my company if I paid for a year.
Changing estimate to job does not clear from calendar. Customer history has to go in and out of to obtain Messages only go to one person. Bland invoices and estimates. No second-page terms page could be fitted. Can't get a refund although I was told I could if I paid for a full year. Liars.

we have had a good experience since we started a month ago and have been utilizing it with our crew
Ease of use for every ones skill level. We like being able to interact through emails with customers and giving better customer service while in the field.
Thought would have more features to utilize for in shop repairs as well.

Can look up history, see where techs are to schedule more jobs(or not). When a customer calls inquiring about past jobs, it's easier to find...and mobile, not so frantic when not at the office
We are a weird group, so sharing with all of my techs isn't an option. Some of them run their own crew and are my competition as well as my technician

Good.
The ability to request a review from our customers after completing work and the ability to send them a confirmation with an appointment time.
There are glitches sometimes. My crew sometimes has trouble with addresses mapping correctly. There also isn't a lot of ability to add custom fields for our jobs, which would be nice.

Using housecall pro has been great so far, their support team has been very responsive.
Housecall Pro has made it much easier to manage my junk removal company. I can track the crew's progress throughout the day, make changes to customer bookings from my computer which my crew then sees on their phones, and the crew can communicate directly with customers through the app. It also handles professional invoicing and payments. It's made everything much easier, and the number of Google reviews we've gathered has skyrocketed due to their automatic customer close-out messages.
I don't like their direct online booking interface, if the customer were to use it, I find it confusing and not intuitive. We use a simpler very clear booking interface, then manually migrate those appointments into housecall pro.

Total control
This is very clean and simple to set up, we found everything we need to get our new service company on the ground. They have incorporated everything to take a client from stsrt to finsh and even after the job is complete.
We would love to see a feed back link for our clients incorporated into the billing side, there is really nothing we dont like at this point, Im sure if we get rolling there could be a few tweaks and possibly some add ons that could help improve our flow.

I’m 56 years old, frustrating at first, but now smooth to operate, I work out in the field so I use cell phone to do everything., like the set up.
Scheduling, able to retrieve contact info from I phone contacts

The demo was very well done. Our contact for HouseCall Pro, was well versed and conducted the demo very well. We also had both e-mail and telephone follow-up support.
Scheduling for one individual or for a crew is easy. TYhe "dashboard" is easy to understand and having an information portal to find a means to solve a problem meant that I did not require the live chat portal for tech support.
If the job requires participants arriving at the site at different times the late arrivals cannot log into the job. One has to add segments to the original job with individual workers assigned their individual segments for the job. The capturing of time on-site requires adding each segment to arrive at total time on-site.

Helped set this up at commercial cleaning business. Streamlined our appointment calender and where all supervisors and crew leaders could instantly see what was going on, who was going where and reminds us what work is coming up. Also helps with invoices. Mostly it is convenient
Invoicing doesn't allow search by client is probably our biggest co. It would be nice if program was more IOS friendly

Great support both technically and from a corporate level with live events they add value as a user of the product and as a business manager/owner. Tremendous commitment to support the “pros” that make up their customer base
Ease of use, but full featured, strong mobile app as well as desktop. Integration with Quickbooks online version Also google maps integration and GPS. Online book from our website directly to the software works well.
Lack of ability to have tech to accept the jobs through the app since we work with independent contractors who can refuse jobs they don’t want. Also there does not seem to be a way for customers to choose the crew they want when booking online

Ultimate control of assets and time management and job efficiency
Accessing customer history (jobs/invoices), QuickBooks integration, mobile management and now even greater control from the field with the iPad use update!
Needs to have job pause and follow up options on the time status section to track multiple job site visits and needs customizable job note section to add Parts/Materials needed and used, etc...

Top notch software. These aren’t dedicated to the big bucks, they’re dedicated to you. Your the clients entering into people’s homes and they paved the way to Frontier PROFESSIONAL blue collars to raise the industry standards. Communication is quick and clear, helpful and informative and also community oriented. WE WILL BE HCP for life !
Their culture, their customer service and software is hands down amazing. They truly inspire other home service providers to accomplish their goals and implement marketing! Like who does that?! I’m a techy by heart and if I wasn’t a handyman service I’d apply to works for these guys cause they’ve got a tight ship and an awesome crew!
Quickbooks errors. I think there needs to be a customer service team that helps clients individually with all their HCP quickbook errors because it’s a headache for our bookkeepers and accountants.

Love this program did my research for several week's got in contact with the crew here and was walked thru a training class/ demonstration with them and by the time we were done I was sold on this program and glad I made the choice, freaking love it

User interface is easiest one we've looked at. We liked everything else but that was what we liked compared to others.
We would have gone with HC but they don't do ACH's through QB. That was our tipping point. The ACh's Through QB are free of charge. Once they can get those on board we'll be happy to look at HC again. NEED ROUTE SHEETS FOR CREW WORK. Programming needs to set up that feature as well.

We should be able to control our template that goes on invoices and emails sent to customers\estimates.

Housecall pro allowed me to have total control of my administration and to better satisfy customers.
What I liked about this software is the fact that the price, the customer service are easy to use. The emails are automated for good follow-up.
What I liked least is that when the system breaks down it destabilizes, until its reactivation.

Makes it easier to control all aspects of bookkeeping and scheduling and reminding customers for repeat business
Integrates with Google calendar and allows for easy email follow up and reminders. Post card service is nice too.
Ran into trouble with the Google calendar integration and lost customer histories on the calendar because of it.

This software is solely responsible for my ability to be anywhere my kids need me, to travel with family and to be on top of everything my customers and business requires. All the information is at my fingertips: from scheduling, invoicing, payments, to client history and reports. The HCP crew is responsive and professional! Glad to have them on my team!
No auto notifications if email sent through the software fails due to incorrect email address.

Incredibly streamlined, clean and very user friendly in the office and in the field. It solves problems that we've experienced with other service software, and the integration options are fantastic.
There are some issues with my particular industry as far as separating and segmenting jobs and bids and partial jobs and tracking and differentiating sales numbers from install crew and sales team, however the staff at Housecall Pro has been incredibly helpful with offering solutions and discussing putting some unique options in place to make the software even easier to use.
